Omg, they did such a great job on our door installation!!!! We hired Comfort to complete a siding and door job. It was to install two doors, tear off old siding,insulate, side and trim.We had "contractor trauma" from an experience with a different company a couple of years ago so we were leary of signing paperwork anywhere.I feel that we had an acceptable wait time from the date we signed until institution. It was actually a little sooner than I expected! The cost was, the cost..it is what it is and they are comparable to other companies. The customer service is excellent thought. From the salesman to the project managers, foreman and workers, everyone seemed knowledgeable. That is important to me!The doors were installed without a hitch! The gentlemen were polite and professional. They had a little extra work to get one door to hang properly but they took care of it! They vacuumed the mess off the floors and took care of our home while inside.The day of the siding install came and these guys came to work! I was impressed with the steps they took to keep the trash contained and to keep it out of my yard. The crew laid down tarps below their work area and that caught a lot of debris and nails. They worked efficiently and were very polite any time we interacted.At the end of the day they cleaned up, vacuumed the driveway, threw away all the debris and used large rolling magnets to clean up nails! The next day, they came back and started right back up! Again, very efficient, it seemed like they didn't stop working. The weather was freezing with a feels like temp in the 20s! They just kept working. At the end they wiped down the siding, went around multiple times and checked for little things that may need to be corrected. The person who was running the crew seemed to truly striving for excellence as he made sure everything looked great and was done well. They walked around multiple times to make sure everything was picked up.The house looks amazing! They trimmed out a window someone else installed and made it look stellar. We are very happy with the results and would recommend Comfort to anyone, based on the workmanship and customer service alone.10/10 recommended Comfort!!

I purchased a home over 19 years ago and recently I had a problem with the window. I went into comfort homes spoke to Kathy and I was looking for a pin that belongs to the window that it was so hard to find. But Kathy, kept on looking to see what she can do, she checked in the warehouse and then because she could not find one. She had a service guy come out to my house. He took out my window and fixed it. They never asked me to pay for it. I wasn’t on the contract for them to fix the window. They did it out of the kindness of there heart. I really wanna let them know how much I appreciate what they did for me .Those are the type of people that I want to deal with. You have no clue how much this really meant to me. Cliff, James, and Kevin (truck #179) did the install of a number of windows and doors recently. They were so knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. They were part of the family during the few days they were here! They worked and scheduled with our construction team to allow for a seamless project. Justin, Steve and Kyle installed new windows and a French door, and they did a wonderful job. They were courteous and very professional. They always cleaned up after themselves and took care of several unforeseen problems. We would have them do work for us anytime.We also had siding put on our house led by Tony Ariola and his crews and they did an excellent job, as they also ran into unexpected problems. The obscured Niagara glass in the bathroom looks amazing and the install as a whole looks top-notch. Contracting with Comfort Windows was a breeze. Our salesman Kevin Zales was thorough, competent, and patient as he walked us through the design and ordering process. Within an hour, we had locked in a bay window and a replacement front door and storm door. Understandably, the time between ordering and installation was a bit longer than originally quoted (COVID-19), but once our bay window and doors were built, we were promptly put on the installation list.Installation would be a two day affair. The guys from Comfort Windows were prompt and polite. Cliff, Kevin C., and Kyle respected our house and always had their masks on as they worked. They were exacting as they worked, cleaned as they went, and did a very professional job. My spouse and I were blown away by the finished product. We are the proud owners of a beautiful new screened in porch and we couldn't be happier! Bill Johnson and all of his crew were a pleasure to work with right from the start in the designing of the porch to the thorough clean up at the end of the project. Cliff and Kevin C arrived on time and even called before arriving. They were both very professional, friendly, knew exactly what they were doing. They installed the door, and also had to rehang our storm door. The storm door was not as easy as they made it seem. It needed more work but in the end everything looked fantastic. Comfort Windows was one of a few places we looked at for our project. They did a great job making me feel like they really had an interest in me and not just selling me a product. I felt like they really looked at what we wanted and customized our project for our situation.We ended up doing windows, Sliding Glass door and a Sun Room. The process from quote to the work itself made me feel comfortable as if they were all looking out for me. The sales staff and work crew were very professional and friendly.Besides all this, the windows and doors are made locally and have lifetime warranty. The sun room is not made by them, but based on everything else, I had confidence that the Sun Room is also built with high Standards.The end product was excellent and could not be happier. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on your house. Price was very reasonable and well below other quotes we got. I just have confidence that if I had to follow up for any issues, they would not hesitate to make it right. This is the first major reno project I had done on my house and had a great experience.Hot Tub is being delivered tomorrow to go in the new Sun Room. We had all the windows and 2 sliding glass doors replaced by Comfort Windows & Doors in 2012 and while we have been generally satisfied with the quality of the windows and sliders, recently one of the sliders was not sliding very well. We called Service and they came out and told us that the frame around the door was rotted. Not wanting to void our lifetime warranty on the door, we asked if Comfort would remove the door from the frame so we could repair the damages. After a few weeks, Comfort told us that WE could removed the door and it would not void our warranty.Since the door is factory assembled, the only way to remove it is a complete unit (glass panels and all). This meant trying to remove a excessively heavy door from our house without damaging it. Once removed, the extent of the water damage was evident. There was NO waterproofing material or pressure treated lumber was installed under the door frame. Only MDF was used and construction adhesive. No aluminum flashing or drip-edges were installed either. Steel rather than zinc coated or galvanized screws were used. Minimal spun glass insulation was placed in the voids around the door frame and pine trim was used under the exterior flashing. This led to extensive water damage and wood rot.The entire lower door frame, sill plate, rim joist, and sill plate gasket were perished. Much of the exterior siding (cedar) behind the pine trim was also water damaged. The rim joist failed to support the exterior wall and buckled causing the house to drop over 1/2" from one side of the door to the other.All damaged material was removed and replaced with new. The door opening was leveled and wrapped in a waterproof membrane and the slider was reinstalled, trimmed to square, insulated and trimmed out. The whole process took 2 days and cost over $300 in material (not including labor costs).We feel if Comfort Windows would have properly prepared the rough opening before installing this slider, the likelihood of having significant water damage would have been greatly reduced or prevented. Instead, they only did the bare minimum to install the door. Unfortunately, we have another larger slider from them as well and worry this door will suffer the same fate as the first.Update: informing us at the time of installation about the potential risks associated with have the door and deck I close proximity would have been helpful, but that was not done. As far as installation to “industry standards” goes, I am sure you follow ASTM E2112 regarding the application of water barriers and drainage pathways to effectively channel water away from the structure. If so, then we would have found flexible flashing and/or pan flashing on the door sill when we removed the door from the frame.Services: General door installation, Custom doors

We called Comfort Windows to install a new sliding glass door. I was a bit worried at first because there was no existing door so they had to start from scratch. The sales person Dave answered all of my questions and was very responsive to calls and emails. When the work began, Cliff and Kevin (Truck 179) were quick, clean, and professional. They took time to explain steps they were taking to get the job done correctly. I also had an electrical outlet in the way of where the door was going. Jose, the electrician was very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of moving vs removing the outlet. Overall, I am very satisfied with the end result. We had a WONDERFUL experience with all of the Comfort Windows staff. We had 6 windows installed and 2 doors (2 more on the way because we liked those so much), and siding. our house looks AMAZING, we have gotten so many complements from phone calls to social media, in person and even a letter addressed to "occupant", in the letter the person told us how pleased the prior owner would be to know that we have "brought the old place to life" . This was a project that we have been wanting to do but when my husband became ill knew we would no longer be able to do it ourselves.and none of this could have been done without the wonderful, courteous, professional staff at Comfort Windows.
