When you say the word "custom" people automatically think more money, that's not the case with Graves Bros Home Improvement. This was a door install, custom height, and in a porch that had a "not so square" opening. We had 4 different contractors look at this job, each was from the local Auburn area, and they submitted quotes for this job and a couple others we are doing.Each company used the word custom, and each said it would be weeks before we would see the door installed, and yet ONE company stood far and above the rest, Graves Brothers. Their bid was the lowest of all, as much as half the cost of one quote. And if we had taken ANY of the other bids we would still be waiting for the door to arrive, Graves Bros installed it about 3 weeks after the order was placed, while all others said we had to wait 5 more weeks.From start to finish the process to get Graves on the job was excellent, from meeting Dave the Sales/Estimator, to the installer who showed up promptly and was very friendly & knowledgeable, and did his magic to make this an easy installation. The new door looks great, it's made the room airtight for the first time in 30 years, and it's all thanks to Graves Bros Home Improvement. We love the porch, and the door is better than the foam plug we use all winter to stop the draft.Thank you again for an outstanding job, we will be calling with more projects

My husband and I have hated the color of our front siding since we moved in. It was finally time to address it! After a few estimates from a few companies, we felt most comfortable with Graves Bros.From the estimate with Mike, to the continued communication with Jessie, to the crew and their manager, Connor… Everything went smoothly. Everyone was super nice and very professional.Our crew was scheduled to come between 8-9 am. They were there by 8am and working hard by 8:15am. We had just the top part of the front of our house done in new siding. The crew was done and cleaned up by 2pm the same day. Quality work, too! Oh, and they did it in below freezing weather and snow! We did our best to keep them warm with coffee. ;)We will definitely be calling them again for future home projects.Can’t recommend this company enough.Thank you, Graves Bros!

We have hated the pale yellow siding of our home since we purchased it. The old aluminum siding was starting to show it's wear, so we reached out to Graves Brothers for a free estimate. The process could not have been simpler. We got our quote, decided to do the work and then after about a month our materials were in. From there we were just waiting on a crew to be available. The crew had the siding replaced in 3.5 days and the work was top quality. Gutters were added in the next day. The foreman was in constant communication to make sure we were aware of the progress and to address any concerns as they came up.We would highly recommend Graves Brothers to anyone looking to replace their siding.

Graves Bros. installed a new roof on our home yesterday. The crew was here on time, worked in below freezing weather for nine straight hours without any distractions and did an outstanding job. They had to replace seven sheets of plywood which were no longer satisfactory, and they replaced a damaged screen that was hit by a piece from the old roof. They cleaned up very well, and the supervision done by Max was exceptional. A first class outfit, and a very satisfied customer.

Provided full roof tear off and replacement of asphalt shingles in January 2024. Excellent communication throughout the process to resolve issues and address concerns. Pricing was transparent and the quote matched the final bill. I enjoyed playing with the HOVER app, which used pictures of the home to assess building dimensions and remotely calculate the estimate. The roofing team was fast and efficient. The house looks great! As mentioned by another post, final cleanup was delayed a few days (removal of dumpster, excess supplies and tools) since the job was finished so late in the day, I would definitely recommend Graves Brothers to anyone looking for a similar service

This place is legit. Pricing is good work is high quality (they installed a roof for me). But the best part is that they do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it. Best roofing company in Syracuse and Surrounding areas hands down. I received several estimates from some big name companies and Graves Brothers were the only one that realized I had cedar shake under all the shingles. They were impeccably precise and their attention to detail was immaculate. The roof unfortunately had 6 layers and Carlos and crew did an beautiful job. They were in and out and cleaned up like they were never even here. Dave was very knowledgeable, informative, and provided updates every couple of hours with pictures included. Alex took his time to provide a detailed quote that was able to fit my budget. I will never choose a different roofing company again. Grave Brothers are the premier roofing company in NYS!!

Contracted to have siding fixed, and a new side door/storm door put in. Brendan came and fixed the siding. Did a great job on it. Very thorough. He even walked around the house and fixed other broken pieces. Very pleased. Now waiting on door. Tim finished the trim piece today, so job totally completed. Tim did a great job on the installation of the doors. He put great effort in keeping us updated on parts or when he could schedule the work. We really appreciate everything he did for us. Great job! The Graves Bros sales and business end was another matter, we understand delays, but could you call us, text or email some sort of information on what going on.

Professional and great. Came in and took care of my window and the finished product looks amazing! Only thing they can work on is the communication. Had some issues with the tech showing up for .easurements after saying I need a 30minute call ahead so I can be home, then again so I can put the dogs away. Other then that the office staff is amazing but their work is great. I will Definitely use them again if needed

What a great job by the crew that was run by Kasey and then Paul! Professional and detailed. Only slight issue was cleanup as they finished in the dark and started raining. But contacted them and they sent Jermaine out a few days later and he made sure all the nails, screws and scrap was picked up and disposed of. The roof is awesome and looks great!! My sister got some work done by this company on her house, and they refuse to fix what they did wrong. It doesn’t seem like they care about their customer’s happiness. They have proven that as long as they get paid they’ll half do the job. My sister has had to call a lot of different contractors to get quotes and not one willing touch her house because of how bad of a job GRAVE BROTHERS HOUSE IMPROVEMENT did on her house, and the no wants to take responsibility for their terrible work. So people PLEASE!!! take my advice stay away from company. They will take your hard earned money give you any type of job that gets them to their money faster and will not fix any mistakes they did while rushing through a job you paid them for. It’s really sad how rare it is to have companies that actually cares about their own work and how it make them look. It’s sad that this company took my little sister’s $60, 000 and they have no compassion , no empathy or sympathy. I wouldn’t recommend their services due to lack of morals, ethics and professionalism,. If anyone spent that type of money and it was not done properly anyone would be upset.

From the beginning when I called to schedule a quote, Graves responded quickly. Alex, the salesperson was amazing. He took the time to answer all my questions. He was very patient being that I've never had a roof replaced before. Alex was the only one who actually went up on the roof to do an assessment while the others did an ariel view. Graves Brother is a very untrustworthy company. They lie on estimates, lie about services, and do not care about the quality of the services they provide. The put the siding on my house wrong, terrible job with the roof where it is already peeling, calked my windows closed (this is insane because it’s a window that is suppose to open and they calked around it so heavily that it does not open. Multiple times they brought the wrong doors and windows and even after showing proof that we had previously discussed and agreed to another, they still tried to give me the wrong one. The office ignores calls when they know they do bad work. They don’t care about their quality just getting money. Will never use them again and highly advice other to avoid using them.

Had an excellent first-time experience with Graves Bros! We had a service appointment to repair the corner piece of our siding which had many holes and cuts in it from old gutters and deck fasteners. Our assigned tech, Brendon F., was an absolute pleasure to work with. He knows his craft and always has a friendly and professional attitude. He did a fantastic job repairing our old siding (which is apparently no longer sold), and even filled additional holes where wires and nails used to be. I highly recommend Graves Bros and Brendon, and I will definitely use them again for all of our roofing and siding needs!

We used Graves brothers for front siding of our home. Excellent service from the very start! Robert Moore, the salesman was very patient with us, assisting with matching the colors to the preexisting siding on the sides/back. He took the extra time to bring out samples, and provide demo photos of each of the colors.I highly recommend Matt and Derek who worked in the snow and rain to transform our home. They were professional and experts in the field. I was highly impressed with their craftsmanship, expertise. The end product blew me away! Thank you, I highly recommend.
