Great job! We had issues with the roof last fall but it was too late in the season to put on a new roof. They secured tarp over the area until they were able to replace the roof. Corrected all the mistakes that were done by the previous roofer. Would highly recommend.

Their team showed up on time (early actually), stripped two layers off an enormous roof, replaced two-thirds of the sheathing, installed a beautiful, high-quality roof, and removed all construction materials and debris in two days. Simply remarkable. I don't know why anyone would hire a different company. Our yard and landscaping was spotless after the team finished the job. The workers were hard-working, courteous, respectful, and skilled, and Chip and Bill ensure quality and lead with good organization and communication, all while minding the budget and schedule. We can not say enough to express how pleased we are with Vanderhoof Roofing for the roof installation at our boathouse. We were very concerned about picking the right contractor and the right materials to preserve the architecture of the unique home. Ed Wright our estimator and project manager for the job went above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfect for the job. The professionalism and attention to detail by Ed and the entire Vanderhoof crew was much appreciated. They also made extra effort to cover all of our stonework and decking with plywood to avoid any damage. The end result is fantastic. Red and the guys did an outstanding job on my gutter install. They had to totally remove a new 6 month old install from another horrendous company, make repairs as needed and properly install the system. They were fast, efficient and very knowledgeable! The install was not easy, being 3 stories high plus my property is on a hill, but they made it look easy! Brian was great during the walk through. He redesigned the previous install to eliminate me having to trench in order to move water to the front yard. I would highly recommend this company for any of your roofing or gutter needs.

We love our new roof! Shannon and the rest of the crew had a real challenge when the weather turned partway through the job but they stuck it out and the finished product looks great. We have an older home, built in 1923, so there were 5 or 6 layers of roofing that had to be removed before the new metal roof could be installed. There were some structural issues that had to be dealt with as well but watching how they work and the time and effort put into making it right gives me confidence that I will never need to worry about the roof again.

To start, The salesman was efficient and professional. He determined the roof needs and any additional particulars that could be added. He answered our questions. We talked, but not for hours on end. Van Derhoof did our roof over a period of 5 days (May 29th, June 1st-4th). They were professional from start to finish, working through some rain and some pretty warm days, showing up on time every morning and working into the early evening. Our roof had 3 layers of shingle that had to be removed which they did rather quickly before installing our new shingle. They also fixed our chimney which was in extreme disrepair. We had a bird's nest with week old baby robins right outside our front window. The crew built a cover over our entire living room window to protect the babies from the falling debris and also let us know when one had left the nest on their last day at our home. The site was cleaned up every day (which was good because we had dogs). If it not for the work clearly being done on the roof, you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. Will they be the cheapest? I'm not sure. But for your money you will receive quality, professional work from a friendly crew who use high quality products. You will get a good bang for your buck.
