We are having a complete overhaul of our kitchen by D.J.F Construction. Declan is extremely knowledgeable and worked with us around our budget. He provided a timeline that was reasonable and has kept to that timeline throughout the project. Great quality work and a good eye for design. He also works with an excellent designer who evaluated the kitchen and provided cabinets, granite, and backsplash at reasonable prices. We are really pleased and would highly recommend him for any project.

We chose D.J.F. Construction for a full renovation of our kitchen in Dobbs Ferry based on a recommendation from friends. Declan and his team did a quality job with beautiful results, and I would recommend them again for the following reasons:- They were reliable and punctual (on the scene by 8:00AM each day)- Their work was very clean; they used drop cloths everywhere and did a thorough cleanup of the site at the end of every day (which makes a huge difference when you're living in the house during construction)- They paid lots of attention to small details, such as making sure the trim is carefully aligned and the paint job looks sharp- Their rates were reasonableOverall, we're very happy with the way our kitchen turned out. Declan will be our go-to contractor for any other renovation needs we might have in the future.

Three projects in (including two complete bathroom renovations) and I'm finally getting around to reviewing DJF. Declan Fahy (the man behind DJF) is a trustworthy and knowledgeable contractor who 100% cares about his reputation. As a homeowner, that's really everything you could possibly want in someone who will be working on your house. DJF did an amazing job on my two bathrooms and laundry closet/hallway, and I would not hesitate to work with them again.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Declan and his team did an unbelievable job. I moved into a prewar apt, which as you can imagine is quite old and difficult to renovate and he didn't bat an eyelash. Not only was everything I needed to be done, done perfectly but it was done timely. Declan was extremely professional and patient with me as I had a ton of questions. If I ever need any work done going forward he will be the person I call and I will refer him to anyone I know who will be having work done. He went above and beyond in getting this job done and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you, Declan!

We have used Declan for a couple of construction projects now. He and his crew work diligently to finish the jobs on time and have accommodated our changes throughout the projects. Terrible experience. Took months to finish what was initially said to be a 2 week job. Was a great guy at first but became very unprofessional and aggressive over the phone when asked about timing after it had been a month past the date they were supposed to be done. Had guys coming in for 1-2 hours on some days and not show up at all on others. Would not recommend.edit: contract and proof of work is available for Google if they'd like to reach out.
