I met Vinny over twenty years ago when a water pipe burst and leaked into our kitchen. He came right over and had the problem fixed in a matter of hours. Payment was a round of golf and a promise from me that when and if we had a major renovation Old World would do the work.Fast forward twenty years and Old World Quality Contracting finished the remodel of our new home and we could not be happier with the results! The craftmanship, the attention to detail, and collaboration with the designer were all fantastic. The pandemic played havoc with the schedule and supply chain but that did not deter Vinny and his team from getting the job done.The team, lead by Allen, were all very friendly and professional and were attentive to our needs and wants. They became friends through the duration of the job and we looked forward to seeing them everyday. Too many people were involved in the job but a special mention to James, Joe, Sal, and Juan, who spent close to two years at the house and were incredible.We are proud to have used Old World Quality Contracting and would recommend them to anyone. We have used Old World for jobs since 2017. Our first job was a large kitchen and family room extension. We looked at several companies but only 1 encouraged and ensured that we could stay in our home and it would be clean and not disruptive. that was Vinny. They did not let us down. We used Old World for a very large backyard project, which included a complete gut of an old carriage house to turn it into a guest house / pool house, as well as the addition of a new in-ground pool, complete with extensive outdoor details (large patio area, outdoor fireplace, etc). The men and women at Old World were above & beyond throughout the entire project. We were always able to reach someone in the office as well as someone in the field whenever we had questions or issues, and they involved us every single step of the way. Every sub they used was also incredible. We came to love spending time with them all as they worked on our home each day for months and months. The attention to detail throughout the entire job was incredibly high level, & our project manager checked in on us multiple times a week. In addition to the customer service being fantastic, the job itself was absolutely top notch. Complete luxury-level finishes everywhere. We were so impressed by the entire team that we continue to use them today for any small issues we have with our house - maintenance and service, and such. If any issues ever arise (plumbing, etc), someone tends to the problem same day. It has been quite often that our project manager from the initial job (Raffi) will come to our house to make sure things are always taken care of for us. On multiple occasions, even on a weekend, Vinny (the owner) has knocked on our door to help us with issues himself - to make sure that we know we are always in good hands. The attention to caring for customers is absolutely outstanding. Old World Quality-For years my husband and I met with contractors to share our ideas and desires for our home, never finding the perfect fit and, therefore, never completing and major jobs we needed done. In doing lots of “homework”: speaking with neighbors, looking at houses around town and visiting their website online, we knew that meeting with Vinny and Vinnie Jr. was going to be the way to go. However, we were a little hesitant in even hearing the ideas of the “best of the best” afraid we would fall in love with the ideas far out of our budget.Once we met with the two gentleman, as we expected, all bets were off. Both Vinny and Vinnie represented everything that we felt important in working on what we hope is our forever home. The men were honest and gave advice on how they would do things the best and safest ways for our family. They never pressured us or tried to turn jobs into bigger projects than we have been ready for. In fact, they have given us options and prices on how to do things the big way or how to do it to a lesser scale.The very first job we had completed was adding overhead lighting in our upstairs hallway and bedrooms. The very first day that the electrical team came, they prepped all of floors taking their shoes off until the floors were all covered and protected. Still, I came home from a busy afternoon of running my kids around town expecting that I would immediately vacuum and scrub the floors to ensure everything was clean before my children went through the house. To my great surprise, when I walked in not only had all the debris been vacuumed, the floors were being mopped and wiped. I was sold!Since then, Old World Quality has completed two more projects in our home. They have completely renovated our attic, making a home office and guest room out of the space, as well as completely transforming the hallway in our center hall colonial home. Each experience with Old World and their teams have been as pleasant as the next. Every person who enters our home is kind, courteous and takes their shoes off at the door. Each job has been completed according to both the timeline and the budget set prior to the job beginning. If a budget has been adjusted, it has been due to a change my husband or I have asked for and has been submitted to us as a separate bill explaining the change in fee. Vinnie has checked in with me every day during ongoing projects and inspects each job with a hawk eye settling for nothing short of perfection before calling the project complete.As a family-owned business, the Muldoons not only take pride in the work being done in their name but they also have chosen people to work with that represent their company and what they stand for. As important that it has been for me that my home is prepped and protected prior to a job to ensure cleanliness, it is of far greater importance that I feel comfortable with the people working in my home and around my children; with Old World, that has NEVER been a question. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Old World and look forward to completing the next project in our home with them and their team!

He dropped everything to come see more than one house with me, warned me away from some, and then gave thumbs up to the house we now call home. In 2001, Tess and I used Old World Construction to remodel our home. It was a large investment for us, and we could not have picked a better partner than Vinny and his guys. Vin’s work is impeccable, and it was not limited to the construction aspects of the project. On his own time, he contributed greatly by partnering with our architect which further enhanced the renovation. Vin treated our house like it was his own. One weekend, I recall a storm caught us all by surprise as the renovation was in full construction mode. I drove like a maniac to get home to the house. Vin had left a family event and was already on my roof securing it when I pulled up.In 2005, we saved up enough to do the second half of the house. Unlike the previous construction, there was no debate who to use. Like many, the investment in our house was a significant decision for us, as it is our largest asset. Everything they promised, they delivered. No big surprises, no late up-sell. Vinny's reputation as a straight shooter is well earned. Old World Quality and Vinny Muldoon's team pour their hearts into their work because they always want to be proud of their results. This means that I can always trust them to do the right thing for our home and our family. Old World Quality has worked at both my mother's home and our own. They quickly and efficiently remodeled my mother's basement almost 12 years ago after a plumbing disaster, so my husband and I then chose to use them to extend and remodel our newly purchased but old home in 2016 (originally built in 1938!). We were so pleased with the quality of the work that we again used them to finish our basement and add egress in 2020.Vinny's team is always responsive. On the rare occasion when things didn't go quite as planned, they took full responsibility to fix the issue with no additional charge. We have found that their initial estimates have been entirely accurate-- at first glance, they may seem high, but we have never had any "surprise costs" along the way. In addition, they always go above and beyond their relationship with us as a general contracting company; they have treated my mother in particular like I would imagine they would a member of their own family. We first used Old World Quality Corp over ten years ago for a big home improvement that included an extension, new HVAC system, bathroom and kitchen. When we met with Vinny he picked up on so many small problems on the plans that no other contractor noticed, as well as giving us great ideas that we still love today.
