Couldn't be more satisfied with this company. Very professional and responsive. They installed a new flat roof, shingle roof, gutters, chimney cap. Looks great! They worked non-stop, unbearable heat and all. Very pleased and would definitely reccomend them to anyone. When we are ready to replace our siding and window frames, will definitely be calling them. And I hardly ever do reviews.

We had them over to give a free estimate for a possible leak. They came over right away and we were told we had a cracked drain pipe but that the bigger issue was that we needed a new roof. We bought the house recently and our inspection report assured us we had another good 10 years on the roof. We decided to wait and get a second opinion. When we told American Star we were getting a second opinion, they got very aggressive and blamed us for making them think we were going to hire them. When the time came around for the second opinion we were told we had about 10 years left on our roof and that the drainage pipe should be replaced. Anyone who can't remain professional and makes clients uncomfortable shouldn't be in customer service of any kind. If I can't get a second opinion and ask reasonable questions then why would I ever hire you???

American Star did a terrific job on my leaking roof. Mir responded within hours of my initial call; thorough roof inspection the next day, and identified additional problems I was already aware of (leaking around chimney, deterioration under windows). Within a week they were on my roof addressing several points of leaking, sealing my chimney, repairing flashing and fascia, sealing my windows. Mir knows his stuff! He's positive and responsive, courteous and helpful. He goes above and beyond with his team, also nice guys. Highly recommend!UPDATE 6/9/2023: While the emergency repairs American Star performed last year were great, the rest of my roof proceeded to fall apart after the fix. Fascia was blowing off the edges in multiple places, revealing rotting wood underneath. Mir responded quickly again to wrap the areas that couldn't be repaired and we scheduled a complete roof replacement. My roof has leased solar panels that had to first be removed before replacing the roof. It took 3 months for the solar company to come and remove the panels. Then Mir sent a team who, amazingly, removed and replaced the entire roof (a complicated roof with steep areas of nooks and crannies of shingles) and completed the job in 2 days! Jesus led the team who were diligent, efficient, and detail-oriented. They worked non-stop. They were careful not to damage the shrubs and plantings surrounding my home. And they did a great clean-up of the yard when done. The finished roof is simply beautiful. Mir and his crew provided one of the best contractor experiences I had. From the initial visit, quote, and completion of the project, Mir was extremely helpful and most importantly very responsive to all inquiries I had. American Star replaced our roof, skylights and gutters. I was at home when the work was done and was pleased to see such attention to detail. All my questions were answered and I was kept informed about every step of the process. Special thanks for going extra mile to protect trees and shrubbery that is inconveniently located right alongside the house. Once done, the job site was left spotlessly clean. My experience with American Star from the start was professional & prompt! I had a leak in the chimney, reached out over the weekend and received a call from Mir immediately. Came over on a Sunday after a bad storm, up on the ladder, assessed the damage, gave me an assessment, and the work started and was completed the next day! Very professional and fair priced company. The workers were great, on time and plowed through after sundown and finished the work. Mir stopped by a few times to check in and followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied. Price was fair and in line with the work. I would recommend American Star to anyone who needs work done on their roof, chimney, etc.

The best contractor I have ever had dealings with. He explained everything he was going to do. They showed me pictures of similar work that they have done prior to any work. Meir also was the only contractor that accommodated to the time I wanted the house inspected for the estimate. They were knowledgeable and communicated exactly what needed to be done and any work that may need to be done in the future. Prices were reasonable communication was excellent and they are very accommodating to any situation. I highly recommend them. Hell they put a roof on my house in one day. Just go with theses guys. "Our roof was leaking in the walk-in-closet and 1 of of our laundry rooms, which is adjacent to the master's bedroom. After reviewing several companies on Home Advisory's List, I made several calls, American Star Roofing called back by late morning and were my home that same afternoon. Mier identified the problem immediately. The rain was able to get through the Valley seam next to the chimney. I was told it was an easy fix that required detail work if I wanted the issue to be permanently resolved. I was informed it was just outside work and no one had to be home ( a perfect equation). They repaired the problem and I haven't had any leaks since." "Meir was very responsive from day 1 of my first inquiry right through job completion." His quote and reasonable price remained the same at the end of the job; although additional work was required. Meir and his responsive crew cleaned up behind themselves too. Very impressive.
