There’s not enough words to describe how happy we are with our finished basement! Theo and the team were amazing. Theo is so responsible, I don’t think I’ve ever worked with someone who was always there to answer questions right away! The team did an amazing job taking our ideas and making it all happen. We even asked for some changes throughout and without hesitation they made it happen. We 100% would use them again and would recommend to everyone!

Loved working with TappanZ and will use them again for other projects in my home. They were fairly priced, kept the construction area clean, and did a really great job. I’m very pleased with the final product. My door arrived from the vendor scratched up (I had ordered directly) and they went out of their way to contact the vendor to make it right. They were very easy to communicate with and the crew were super nice and respectful. Theo & Jose are the absolute best of the best! Along with their team, they renovated my kitchen and did an amazing job! This was my first renovation and I really didn't know what the process was or how it all worked. From beginning to end, they answered all my questions and walked me through each step. They even made some suggestions that never crossed my mind which ended up making my kitchen look that much better. By the end, they left everything looking flawless. Overall, they are extremely professional, knowledgeable and reliable. An absolute pleasure to work with! I highly recommend them!

Tappan Zee just completed our deck repair and repainting. Despite numerous weather delays they finished the job in a timely manner, even working on a weekend to make up for lost time. Their communication was excellent, they were extremely punctual and they tidied up the work site each night. There were also no hidden fees; the quote we were given was the price we paid. We were very happy with their work, and will definitely use them again.

Tappan Z was very well recommended by a friend and they really went above my expectations.They first came to view and discuss details of the job giving me good suggestions that I’ve considered all changing for the better my small project.On the date of the job, they came on time and brought all necessary equipment. As soon as they arrived they started working and finished before the time estimated. They are real professionals, detail oriented, fast, and very honest. Finding a good contractor is rare these days. Theo and his crew are among the best at what they do. Fair pricing and excellent work transformed my old Brady bunch bathroom into a modern masterpiece of marble. I could say that I highly recommend them but that would be an understatement.

Called and spoke to Theo, the son apparently. Nice conversation about the small job I had and was looking for an estimate. Never responded back to my texts and basically ghosted, instead of saying he wasn’t interested or too busy, etc. Not professional at all.

They also alerted me to an electrical problem they discovered under the deck which needed immediate repair. I can't say enough good about Tappan Z Home Improvement...so grateful I found this company. Jose and Theo and everyone w/Tappan Z was always respectful, polite, reliable and trustworthy. They showed up on time, worked hard all day and cleaned up at the end of every day. I left my house on more than one occasion with no reservations at all. At planning stage, Jose offered suggestions for the bathroom reno that never even crossed my mind but definitely enhanced the end result. That bathroom reno is now complete and some days, for no reason at all, I turn on those new bathroom lights, stand in the doorway and just stare at everything. I am so pleased and even more amazed; they take enormous pride in their work. We discussed plans prior to demo and reaffirmed along the way as well, which lends to greater confidence and less anxiety. Prices are competitive and fair and the quality of their work is excellent. Integrity, transparency & honesty displayed by everyone at Tappan Z definitely made this a most pleasant business experience. Tappan Z HI did a 1/2 bathroom gut renovation at my house. Demo, drywall, tile, and fixtures. They were responsive and worked with me even as I changed my mind about some items. They were fairly priced, showed up on time, and I'm happy with the quality of the work. I would use the again for another project. They paid attention to the details such as rerouting vent exhaust and making a custom door saddle for the connection to an unlevel old hallway.Service: Remodeling

I called Jose to replace my toilet. I purchased the replacement from HD. Jose and Theo arrived on time and got to work. They were prepared with all the things needed to complete the job and was done in little over an hour. In that time, they performed an amazing and clean job. They moved the old toilet outside for me and Jose went the extra mile to patch a hole that was located on the wall behind the toilet. So far I have used them three times and each time I am completely satisfied with the results.
