This is a great store! It is an Ace Hardware as well. You can get a little bit of everything here. Flowers, rocks by the truckload or bag, mulch, fishing stuff, screws, nuts, bolts, lots of hardware, tools, paint, kitchen stuff, stuff for the home, a little clothing, coolers, lots of things that you need for your home. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out and things pretty easy to find. The 4 star rating is because of our rock order experience. We came in with the area and depth we wanted in rocks. We did not know how much area their scoop of rocks covered. We asked their assistance in estimating how much rock we needed. They calculated and said we needed 7 scoops and that turned out to be at least 3 too many. We used some in another area but have a scoops worth in a pile in the woods. We spent a few hundred on rocks we did not need. The truck driver gets 5 stars because he helped place the rocks right where we needed them.

Friendly staff inside and outside in the lumber yard, stocked with most anything you need. Services included but not limited too; ace gift card, Catalog sales, commercial industrial supplies, delivery, design services, fishing license, key cutting, layaway, material estimate, painting color matching, pipe cutting, pipe treading, rental, screen repair, special orders, window repairs and many other services.

I love having a full service, old-fashioned hardware store and lumberyard so near. They have everything that I need, whether it is a plumbing repair or a kitchen remodel.The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, unlike the big box stores. They actually know how to do the things that I am doing.

They have an excellent variety of products, including some marine use sealants and fiberglass. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great small town hardware store!

I always love going here. They are so friendly and know their stuff & if you do come up with a question they don't know they'll darn sure find out for ya. This place has been around for as long as I can remember and for this county to have a place like this to shop is certainly a good thing!

Good friendly service. There's a lot packed into this little store. It's more convenient than driving to Lowe's in New Bern, just to turn around and have to drive to Lowe's in Jacksonville because they don't have what your looking for....

I have been down here for 5 years and have always tried to buy local rather the big box stores going to Pamlico first then Lowe’s or others if I can’t get what I need. Today I walked into the store and not one employee was wearing a mask and only one other customer was wearing a mask.While we all have to option to risk our own health by not taking precautions, risking the health of others is unacceptable. Sorry Pamlico HB but at this extreme stage of this pandemic, if you can’t be bothered to do what you can to keep me safe and your other customers then you are not the community centric store you should be. I will be focusing all my business back to the big box stores where they enforce safety for the good of all.

I went there today in a pinch and tried to get a chain saw chain. Left with a new chain saw and very, very disappointed with their service. It appeared as this was the place to fellowship for the day and not one person had a clue about chain saw chains 🙄 No one asked if they could help me, I had to request help while standing there with a chain saw in my hand. I recently visited the new Ace hardware in Greenville and as I walked in 2 people asked if I could be helped.

I would have put 0 stars if that was an option. Charging a local contractor $140 for a $40 box of tack strip. Highway robbery! I guess I'll drive 18 miles up the road and save myself $100. If you want reasonable prices, stay away from this place. This isn't just an ace hardware, they're also home builders. I'd hate to see how they're ripping people off on the materials for their homes.
