I have nothing to say except for the great service from start to finish. From the day I was given the estimate to the day the crew left my residence, I have been thoroughly impressed by the entire staff of Matthews Roofing. My new black roof looks awesome. I also had them install new black gutters. The bill for the gutters was actually less than the original estimate. Gary said he miscalculated one section of the house and it lowered the cost by over $100. That is integrity at its finest. I highly recommend Matthews Roofing. We had our roof replaced due to storm damage (hail) back in August 2014. Gary and his team were fast and professional. Cleanup was excellent, in fact I was on a business trip when the work was performed and when I got back, aside from the new roof you couldn't tell anything had gone on. The property was clean, no damage to the lawn. Gary worked with my insurance company which was very difficult. Gary and his team also did a few repairs on the fascia for me that were difficult to get to, while they were up there. We have had no problems with any of the work performed. On tome, on budget.

I really wanted to use Mathew Roofing after hurricane Florence. They seem to have good reviews. My experience was that they came out and then sent me an incorrect bid for the wrong type of roof. They said they would have to come out again. I called and waited over a month. When I called the office she apologized profusely and said she would make sure someone called me the next day...I never heard from her again. I called them a total of 4 times. Each time they were nice and made promises but nothing happened. I understand this was a busy time for them but 3 months later I have still not heard from them and I have a new roof from someone else. It’s short sighted on their part—they have tons of business right now—but later if Something happens and I need a new roof I will definitely NEVER call Mathews...too undependable!

Matthews Roofing recently replaced the roof on a house we've decided to sell - the architectural shingles and ridge vent are terrific. They brought Shane Wilson in to replace the gutters and they are excellent! We couldn't have asked for, or expected better service. The bid was reasonable, we agreed on the date, and the team showed up on time and did a great job - and left the site clean. Highly Recommend. [This was our first home in NC and we came to find out that Gary had done the original roof in 1995 - it's held up well - even during Fran!] Thanks guys.
