Both good, bad & natural experience with the company. The good. They were honoring the sale price for a year after my deposit to allow time for the permits to go through. The concrete work was great. The building is structurely sound. The natural. After signing the contact on the color choice for the building I was questioned about a dozen times if the color was correct. I had already signed a contract with my color choice in it and was asked then if it was correct. We had to get the footing crew back out before the concrete pour to finish the footing. They told us that our building did not need all of the footings we thought. They did not have footings for 4 load bearing walls. After a few phone calls and pictures this was fixed. The bad. I was told the day before things happened that I needed money for the payments. This ment that I would have to leave work early to get certified checks for payments. I had to find the concrete company to service my area for the company to get it done in a reasonable time frame after the footings were dug. They said that it was going to be a 4 week wait with open footings and rain expected. The building was completed in the rain and I had to do the final inspection on crutches with the door up to some what see how things were. Later on we noticed that the doors were damaged in the install and the door locks hit the trim. I contacted the company and they told me that they would reimburse me the damage and have some one come out to fix the lock issue. This was in August of 2023. It is now January of 2024 and I have still not had any resolution. I have called several times and sent messages to them and no response to how things will be taken care of. They are now telling me that there is nothing to be done since it has been so long since the install.Conclusion. If the building can go up without any problems they are a great company. If there is a problem you are probably out of luck and might as well plan on fixing it yourself or have another contractor do it. Would I buy from them again? Probably not since there is no guarantee for issues. I hope they can eventually resolve my issues that have been going on for months but that does not seem likely now.

Recently purchased a 30x40x14 building and concrete pad from L&G Buildings & Concrete, we were very satisfied with the results. Jazmin went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Will definitely use them for any future projects and would recommend to anyone looking for a building.

This is the worst experience I have had working with a contractor/company. The beginning stages were fairly easy and I felt confident about moving forward. When I showed up to inspect the grading work I immediately knew this was not going to work. The ground where the building was supposed to be placed had a slight slope but I had ten loads of material brought in to help in leveling the area. the grading contractor had taken it upon themselves to dig an average size in-ground swimming pool to access additional dirt to build the pad. This was never agreed to. The building plan had two over hangs front and back to be used as porches. Neither of these would be possible due to the foundation prep. I would also not be able to use the garage doors on the front and back due to the height of the foundation pad. I asked the company to stop working and I contacted the company directly. The owner and another individual came to the property and told me that this foundation was elevated to eliminate water from coming down the grade. They even used a grading tool incorrectly to justify their mistake. I then asked why I did not see any compaction equipment on site when the pad was being built. The pad at its highest point was four feet above original grade. They stated that compaction wasn't needed. I knew at this point that this company is not trustworthy. The company would not return almost $10, 000 in deposit money because I signed the agreement. I had many contractors at the site and all agreed the work was no where near code or professional standards. This is the same company as Carolina Carport and Custom Concrete. I'll never see my 10k, but at least I do not have to deal with the company again.

Just completed my building a few minutes ago. BEWARE! I gave them a chance even after seeing bad reviews and posts from past customers. Shame on me. Maybe I can help others from making the same mistake. I am writing while all is fresh in my head. The actual crews that came out were great. Office personal is not so much. Raul was my salesman who quoted me on my building. We exchanged several emails and quotes. All of which had colored screws included. Once the crew was assembling the building I noticed that no colored screws were around. I called Ariana who coordinated the building crew. After reviewing my contract this line item was left out on the final that was sent to me to sign. Several things were different on the final but I missed this one line. It was an item that had no additional cost at the time. I admitted I missed it, but explained that I didn't think I should have had to comb through for things to be left out while dealing with a professional company. Ariana admitted she was part to blame and apologized. I explained that there was a store I could run to get some and she assured me she would talk to Raul and it would be made right. I spent $193 on colored screws and figured it would be deducted from the labor cost. Shame on me! I called her 3 times afterwards with no answer. Finally I was able to speak to her as the job finished about an hour ago. Her answer was that there was nothing she could do about the money and that I still owed her the total for labor referring to the contract. Its not about the money its the principal of it and just good business. L &G has neither. I already know the response will be "Sir you signed the contract". That is right. They only refer to the contract when it benefits them. They wanted payment to deviate from what the contract stated. They were quick to threaten to hold off service until I complied. When I quoted the contract to them concerning this it was dismissed quickly! I was told, "We will just have to reschedule you for a later date". Buyer beware, if they will screw me out of $193 bucks what will they screw you out of. The contract you will sign will only matter when it is in their favor. Stay away from them nothing has changed from past reviews. Also check the Better Business Bureau. This was not a misunderstanding as Ariana told me she was part to blame and that it would be made right. This was a LIE by an L & G employee to its customer.

Where do I start? First off, I gave them every opportunity to address my complaints....I received every excuse in the world. Nobody even came and looked at my issues.First, lets start at the beginning. Upon signing the contract, it was understood there was to be a deposit (which I made at contract signing), and three more payments. Second payment, after concrete was poured and finished....Third payment, after building materials were delivered and unloaded. Fourth and final payment after building was completed.Fast forward to the day of grading and concrete pouring....they asked for the money before the first concrete truck showed up. I paid after concrete was finished. Then, the day the materials were to be delivered, they wanted a check before the materials showed up. Again, I explained that was not how the contract was specified. After materials came, and were unloaded, I paid them. Then the day the building was to be completed, the wanted the final check...while the workers were still putting it together. AGAIN, I explained that was not how the contract specified. I paid after completion. Now, on to the more serious issues. First, i wanted an 8" thick concrete pad. I told them several times, I DID NOT want the pad poured on top of the ground. I wanted them to dig out, so there was 6" in ground, 2" above ground. They graded about 30-45 minutes and started laying the forms. I told the foreman, it was not deep enough. They continued on. I asked several more times...they kept building forms, ignoring me. I asked for wire mesh, to strengthen the pad, they laid the steel mesh on the ground, dit not place it off the ground. Finally the trucks showed up, started pouring around noon. Keep in mind this was a 40X50 pad, and i wanted it shop floor smooth. At 3am, they were still smoothing the surface. I had a 8" pad, almost completely above ground. They came the next day, to saw expansion joints. 3 days later, a crack started from one side, and has slowly continued across the entire shop. Now, on to the roll doors. I have four 12X14 roll doors. Two are bolted to the top, two are held with sheet metal screws. Really? Seriously? When it rains, even slightly, water runs in my shop through every door. Water leaks in around and under all doors. Now the concrete it pitted and flaking everywhere. Its awful how bad it looks.I have inquired several times about these issues, only to be ignored. I was told, that's how it is.....

L&G built my 24 x 40 foot garage on site in Brandon, Florida. They did a great job. I have received many compliments from people who have seen the finished product. I would recommend them to anyone looking to build a metal building. Pricing and job quality were very important to me and L&G exceeded both categories. Thank you, Mike Jordan

From the start to the end I was pretty satisfied. Out of 7 quotes they were able to get me the best quote. While many other companies had a 3-6 week out, they were able to get my building done a week right after I called. The installation was quick and they did a great job. They were flexible and on top of communicating and getting my order done just the way u wanted. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new building! Only complaint is the crew left some of their trash behind but other then that no complaints.

I was looking for a metal building for quite some time. I had a friend recommend L&G and they did not disappoint! They were very helpful and actually finished project before the disclosed time frame. I was a bit worried due to the other reviews but my friend was very pleased with his building and they reassured me they'd do a great job. They explained their past situations and I thought I'd give them a shot! Again they did great, building looks beautiful and I would definitely recommend this company to handle all your concrete and building need.Service: Exterior structural repairs

Working with L&G buildings was a smooth and easy experience. The sales reps are very professional and let me know step by step what was happening in the process. My building is still in new condition after an entire year of having it, everything was done exactly as asked and I’m very happy with the product. I was hesitant to go with them due to their previous reviews but they reassured me so I pulled the trigger. I am beyond pleased with the outcome.

When I first set up the date to get my garage built they were nice and communicated very well. Then dates started changing and crews not showing up. I didn’t get any communication about anything. I then started having my concrete crack away from the relieve area and I called 17 times and emailed over 27 times to get it fixed under the warranty. They kept pushing me off and saying give me a week to let you know, the. It went to give me a couple weeks, then it went to may take a month or two. It has been over 10 months since I was told give me a couple days. They don’t communicate and they don’t care about past customers. Don’t waste your time with this company.P.s this isn’t the only thing they have done. They also messed up my garage and I had to threaten to sue them to get it fixed before they got someone out here to fix it. And changed my contract price after it was signed. But that was fixed after threatening sueing. Don’t waste you time with these people.

I'm writing this review after having my building for 4 months. Initially purchasing my building and concrete went smoothly. The problems began when it came time to schedule the concrete and grade work. I would be told I was on the list and then gave a date, which would be pushed back once it got close. I will post a timeline at the bottom of this review. The biggest issue I have with my building is the concrete work, its literally terrible. It has major cracks in it only months after being completed. I waited almost a year to have my garage only for the finished product to be unsatisfactory.• 8-19-2021 Obtained quote for the building and concrete• 9-8-2021 Contract Signed• 9-8-2021 $3,500 Deposit paid• 10-6-2021 I ask about scheduling for the first time• 12-6-2021 I ask about scheduling the second time• 2-11-2022 Concrete is scheduled• 2-15-2022 Grade work complete and concrete partially complete• 2-17-2022 Receive email stating excuse for not finishing concrete• 4-28-2022 Building installation scheduled for May 23rd• 5-9-2022 Building rescheduled for May 29 through June 5• 5-17-2022 Building rescheduled for June 6th through June 17th• 5-25-2022 Receive a phone call stating the scheduling person has been fired, now we have no building date.My building was finally installed in the middle of July 2022.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Before conducting any business with them check the Better Business Bureau also.

This company is horrible. That did a terrible job at putting my building together. It leaks everywhere, the metal is bent up and scatched on all sides. They failed the inspection process multiple times and had to help them get it passed. The concrete they poured is cracking and separating and is very un level. Be very aware of this company, they shouldn't be in business anymore. When I demanded repairs they tried to take the building back!

L&G is completely unprofessional. We have attempted to reach them several times via email and phone calls to no avail. We have two leak issues that we would like to have addressed and they will not respond. Had we not already placed a non-refundable deposit prior to September 2021, we would have walked away. Their current BBB grade is an F after having had their accreditation revoked om 9/15/2021. All we would like is a response and a part applied to fix our leak issue. I don't see that happening. If you are planning a build, I would not recommend L & G. Upon response and cooperation from L&G I would be willing to revise this review.

My husband has been speaking with Liz the sales rep/manager of L&G since before Christmas. On March 3rd my husband and I drove to their office to finalize everything instead of doing all by phone... the house/building that the office was in looked very unprofessional... it was an old abandoned looking house which should’ve raised a red flag to begin with but since Liz seemed so nice and organized we went ahead with the meeting. That day we chose all options and finalized contract, we stated multiple times that our house would be completed in June and the building would need to be finished no later than mid May so we could have all electrical ran and inspections done. Well here we are 2 months later and the deposit has been paid as requested and no building has been started. My husband had contacted them weekly since the beginning of April and it’s been excuse after excuse why they’ve not started but yet on their Facebook page they’ve posted buildings they’ve started and finished since then. My husband contacted them on Friday and spoke with Liz and advised that we have now come to the point where it’s too late to get a building done within our construction loan because our home will be finished before they’ll even get started and we’ve requested our deposit back... she stated that she’d have to review with the owner... the co-owner then called my husband back and refused to refund our $5k and stated he was told they had until the end of June to begin which has never been the case. I would NOT recommend this company. We’ve been waiting 2 months and still no building which is extremely frustrating.

Would not recommend this company as there was no communication, the process was dragged out, and unprofessional. I also should have looked them up on BBB, as they are no longer accredited due to so many complaints similar to ours. We contacted David in May for a quote on concrete for a building we thankfully purchased elsewhere. L & Gs concrete was cheaper but you know the saying you get what you pay for. They came out to do some grading first, which was done way past the spot we specified so now we have to reseed the area along with having it flattened back out as they just left mounds of the dirt piled up. We had footers dug and our inspector came out and failed it due to inconsistent measurments and also informed us they needed to redo it if we specified we wanted a 5 inch slab which we had done but they made it for a 4in . We paid the 1st half as agreed and then to get them back out to correct area along with pouring concrete was the most aggravating part. Kept getting forwarded to voicemail, never returned calls, when we did here back we were told the "schedular" would contact us the next day, it took over a week to finally get a schedule and they wanted payment up front, now mind you we paid cash, had no poblems with paying and were easy to deal with, but here it was July 2 mths after initial start time, and we had been shrugged off multiple times. David tried to say it was the weather but no that was bs. A whole month of bad weather? We wanted them to start the last bit before we paid in order to ensure we weren't getting screwed, we were told we could go elsewhere if we had a problem. We basically had no choice after already paying over $3k for footers, and they still needed to fix their mistake. Needless to say we were glad when they were done, however they left trash in the yard and my children found pieces of rebar and a saw used to cut it in the yard and were playing with it! We even had the steel company we were getting the building from contact us to touch base and we told them the process was being held up due to the concrete people. Be weary who you choose and make sure they are accredited.

They had the best prices and helped me design a building that covered all of our needs and also had the extra space we needed. I was told up front the lead time was a little extensive due to them being a little backed up but Julia stayed in touch and made sure I was given updates! Would def buy again and recommend!
