I could not be more pleased with the backyard project that Bill Laity and his team recently completed for us. I did a good bit of research before selecting Integrated Landscaping. When I met Bill I had a lot of confidence that he was going to achieve the vision that my wife and I had for our small backyard space. Bill accurately translated our vision into an executable plan, and his amazing team of craftsmen made that plan come to life.In addition, Bill educated me and offered suggestions and ultimately steered more towards solutions that optimized our final design.Once implementation work began I enjoyed meeting the team leaders assigned to my project. Jake and Bryan were very collaborative and answered questions every step of the way. There was excellent communication throughout the project. The team they led did a great job. All work was completed on time and within budget. Of the estimates I had to correct a foundation water intrusion into our bedroom Integrated Landscaping was a little over the next bid but William was very professional and explained the steps in detail how his company would install a French Drain. I accepted his bid with a 25% deposit upfront to secure the job to start in a few days. In the meantime I discovered the water issue was due to pipe leak inside the wall and not from a foundation issue. No way William or myself would have known this pipe issue at the beginningWilliam graciously offered to return my deposit 100% however I did have him install a downspout extension which is crew did a fantastic and professional job..I highly recommend this company.Dan Smith. Bill and his crew did an excellent job on the roads in our subdivision. They patched some holes, shored up the edges of the road that had broken off, and created a the new drainage solution at the bottom of the hill where a large puddle formed every time it rained. I was impressed with the time Bill spent with us to discuss recommendations and the professionalism of his entire crew. HIghly recommend!

Bill Laity and his crew are simply stellar and I cannot praise their work enough.We had some drainage concerns with our lawn that was causing damage in our basement and we are so happy to have found Integrated Landscaping. Bill Laity gave us a thorough consultation on the situation inside and outside of the house, gave us options for scope and scale of the work, and timeline, and was very patient with my many questions. The drainage routing they did from the gutters is wonderful, we can not only see but even hear the difference when it rains now and it is such a relief not having to worry about that drainage issue anymore.When the work started Bill's team was just as prompt, professional, and considerate. Like filled the stray bare patch in the yard, didn't wake my baby up from a nap degree of considerate.You can tell they enjoy and care about the work they do. It's the kind of caliber you wish for in a contractor. I would recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping within their scope of work.

I don’t often do this but for Integrated Landscaping, I will. The professionalism and communication were incredible the entire way through the project from proposal to billing. I had a great time speaking with Bill and Bryan as the project was estimated. The proposal was incredibly detailed and informative. When the job was being executed the team was polite, confident, helpful, and skilled. After the project was completed they made sure everything was acceptable before heading off. We had a hiccup on our end for payment (we think lost check) but they handled it with grace and understanding. I couldn’t recommend this team enough for your next project. Thanks all!!

We recently contracted with Bill Laity of Integrated Landscaping to re-do a sloping, constricted back lot. This area had had little attention through the years and was basically unusable. We wanted a natural stone retaining wall. Bill visualized and created a very opened natural area with an incredible sitting area that is incredibly attractive and functional. In addition, the area has experienced quite a lot of rain this season and it drains perfectly. Bill was a great communicator and listener, and we are more than pleased with the result.Bill Laity (Integrated Landscaping) just finished another project for us. This time he re-did a cracked concrete patio (circa 1951) with flagstones. The patio was larger than average (600 sf) & needed a “pop.” He used a mix of large stones & medium ones and finished the outside edge with a meandering, organic line. We love, love, love it! The patio is truly eye catching & can be enjoyed by several rooms facing the back.Bill has the experience and design gift that inspires confidence in his clients. His team was awesome and hard working. This co. is the best in Asheville.

We have just had our landscaping completed by Bill Laity and his team at Integrated Landscapes, and we could not be happier. From the start Bill and the two tradesmen who worked with us (Greg and Victor) could not have been more accomodating.Bill helped us transform our vision for our yard into a practical, useful plan, and Greg and Victor bought it to life. A few highlights:- Our crew were very flexible and always happy to make adjustments according to our expertise.- The site was completely cleared up, every day.- There were no changes needed to the work that they had done. Every day, everything was completed to our satisfaction.- Bill used his expertise in permaculture and planting to help us find plants that would be non-toxic to our dogs.- The plan was followed to the letter.- We got quotes from four different landscapers, Bill's quote was the least expensive, and I do not think we would have gotten better work anywhere else.In short, I completely recommend Integrated Landscapers for your yard improvement needs. Great people, very friendly, well-priced, and a very high quality of work. What's not to love?The only small change I would make is to have more active communication prior to the job being started. The start was delayed a couple of times due to teams still being on other projects, and we did have to chase to nail down a start time.Apart from that though, we are delighted to have chosen Integrated Landscapes, and the quality of the work far outweighed any small communications concerns.I have included pictures of our yard work as well - Not sure what I am most excited about, but the dogs *love* it!

We had Integrated Landscaping landscape our backyard earlier this year and just had them landscape the front. I am so happy with the outcome that I feel like a kid at Christmas. The design was perfect, the quality of the materials excellent and the crew delightful. Integrated Landscaping is not likely the least expensive option and you might have to wait a little longer to get the work done but it is so worth it!

The construction was completed conscientiously with an attention to detail. In some ways, I hate to advertise how wonderful Integrated Landscaping is because that means they will be harder to schedule for future work. Our newly purchased house had a serious drainage problem--like a stream was running along our foundation during heavy rains problem. Bill provided a solution that should help our house survive for another hundred years. His crew was wonderful. Our neighbors couldn't stop talking about how kind and courteous they were. We invested a lot of our renovation savings into the work Bill completed at our house and it was worth every penny. If you can get on this schedule, do it. You won't regret it.

Bill and his team provided professional, top notch service on the project they completed for us. We had a french drain system installed to resolve a swampy area in our yard and it has done wonders for usability, enjoyment, and ease of maintaining of that area. While the crew was here we also had some raise beds installed for a garden area, which has been a wonderful feature to have to keep busy these last few months of staying at home. French Drain ProjectWe were referred to Bill Laity of Integrated Landscaping of Asheville by friends, Bill was highly recommended. Mr. Laity made several visits to set up our project. There were several delays because of frequent rainfalls. His crew were polite and respectful of our property. They were meticulous in digging, laying underground pipe with fabric covering and especially in creating a river rock bed overlying the drain. The yard was repaired, raked, sown with grass and straw. Bill, Sean, and his entire crew were amazing for solving our landscaping problems. We hired them at the recommendation of our engineer to abate soil pressure that had harmed our foundation. We have absolute confidence that our home is sound and safe.Beyond that they added major curb appeal to our front yard with the addition of a flagstone walkway and front porch and refining a rock feature in our Japanese-inspired garden. Small trees and plants were carefully removed and returned. Good amounts of compost and mulch were added for the beauty and health of the garden.Most of all Bill et.al., "got" me and provided a lovely haven to return to at the end of my work day. When Bill Laity met with us, he spent a lot of time probing our likes and dislikes before submitting his proposal. We recently purchased a home in the Kenilworth neighborhood and had some questions and concerns about water drainage near our home. Mr. Laity was very professional and down to earth in providing his expertise and knowledge concerning drainage issues. Mr Laity reviewed all the areas we had concerns with and assured us that with proper maintenance and care the drainage at this point in time could be handled in a reasonable way through minor modifications. By modifying downspouts and adding some additional drainage fixes for retaining walls. We highly recommend Integrated Landscaping and will use them for future projects!
