I can't say enough good things about Pisgah Roofing and Restoration! From start to finish, their team exceeded all expectations in installing our standing seam metal roof.First off, their customer service was exceptional. They were prompt, professional, and always kept us informed throughout the entire process. The crew was highly skilled and completed the installation with precision and attention to detail. Not only does our new roof look absolutely stunning, but we also have peace of mind knowing it was installed with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. It has completely transformed the look of our home and we couldn't be happier with the result.Thank you, Pisgah Roofing and Restoration, for your outstanding workmanship and exceptional service. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services!

Started my renovation with Jeff coming out to give us an estimate for a new standing-seam metal roof and gutters. Jeff was very efficient and fair with the estimate, although we had to wait several month for our project to begin.Unfortunately the original metal roofing was defective, but thankfully Donny (the foreman) showed up, identified the defect and stopped the installation. Thank goodness! After walking around the house with Donny showing me issues with my siding, he got us an estimate to replace all the siding, fascia, soffits, and trim with James Hardie, plus an estimate to remove our existing fireplace and make it all look like new inside and out. Of course the siding/fireplace work needed to occur before the roof replacement.Donny coordinated all the workers to finish my project. I am so thankful that Donny has both the interpersonal and management skills to make this project go smoothly.Even though I was originally hoping for a covered deck, I told Donny, "You didn't give me what I wanted, but you gave me what I needed." Now my house has a solid foundation, and I will be calling Pisgah/Donny for my next project. <3

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! *BUYER BEWARE*Last year Pisgah Roofing and Restoration was working at my apartment complex, renovating the roofing of all the units, when one day I walked outside to find my Jeep sprayed all over one side and the top of it with Kilz Mold and Mildew Primer. So, I reached out to my landlord to see who could have done this and he told me Pisgah Roofing and Restoration was the only company on the property spraying that day. I initially tried to take it through a car wash and get the stuff off myself but that didn't work. When I reached out initially to Pisgah Roofing and Restoration, they said no way, we couldn't have done that, it wasn't us. When in reality, they were the only company on the property that day spraying material. It turns out the maintenance guy for my complex saw the whole thing happen. He said one of the Pisgah Workers was emptying the sprayer in the parking lot, next to one of the big dumpsters and when he opened it the kilz got in the wind and went all over my Jeep. So not only did I have an eyewitness, but Pisgah roofing was also trying to deny responsibility.Eventually they realized that they were the only company that could have possibly done this and when I went to make it right, they gave me the run around. "Oh, go find out how much it's going to cost to get this removed, go get some quotes." So I went around asking for quotes to get this removed. Many of the shops told me since I have texturized parts on my jeep, they wouldn't be able to get it off. They could get it off my body, but the texturized parts would have to be replaced (bumper(line-x), Winch, Fenders, Roof Rack, Mirror, Floorboard, Hardtop). Many of these estimates ranged from 2k just to remove the kilz on stuff they could remove, to 8k with replacing the parts and repainting where the kilz sat, because this product eats away at paint. When bringing these numbers back to Pisgah Roofing, they said No way it costs that much! We have a guy who can get this off for cheaper... So I reached out to that guy and took a visit to his shop. When arrived, one of his workers tested trying to get the product off my jeep, and he even said he couldn't get it off my texturized items and would need to replace all those parts, confirming what I have already been told by other shops.Once this happened, Pisgah Roofing went silent. I had to go in multiple times in person and show them estimates and they were not going to pay to get it done the right way. They did a really bad job communicating and never saw me as a priority to fix their mistake. Lacked in communication and never really wanted to fix their mistake. In the end I had to go through my own insurance company, and they told me it was deemed a total loss. Pisgah roofing and restoration had done over 8k worth of damage to my vehicle (in paint, and having to replace all the parts that the primer couldn't be removed from)I would avoid Pisgah Roofing and Restoration at all costs. When they mess up, they don't want to claim responsibility and fix what they know should be done right way.

I am extremely pleased with my new roof! It was a pleasure working with Jodi Parker. He thoroughly explained the process and the repairs needed with detailed photos. He is clearly committed to doing the job right. Also, Andrea's team was wonderful. I think my yard was cleaner after they tore off the old roof than before they began. And John Jervis and his crew were professional, polite, and meticulous. I would highly recommend Pisgah Roofing!

I had called Pisgah Roofing to come look at our Masonic Lodge roof repair. They sent their Outside Sales guy Josh Swayngim he was very knowledgeable with the product that he is selling. He gave us a very competitive cost and warranty. And the job was finished in a reasonable time. We had plywood and shingles replaced. Then we had new facial boards and gutter system installed. Very professional and everything was cleaned once repairs were done.

Spoke to Donny about some fixes that needed to be done on the siding of our house. He was clear and ready to help, he sent a team out within days. The guys did great, even moved things away from the house to ensure nothing was broken, accidentally got painted or anything else. Pisgah has a texting system for updates on when they are coming, but they are not quite using it yet. Hopefully that will help increase communication. Thanks, Donny!

The sales rep (Kip), was good, on time, no pressure, knowledgeable. We did get multiple estimates onother from a bigger company and one from a smaller local contractor. In the end we went with the smaller local contractor. The job (metal roof on a home, garage and an outbuilding), will take a couple of more days to complete, and time time line to start is longer, but were not in a major rush so a couple of extra weeks is ok. The deciding factor was price.

I called Pisgah Roofing to inquire about water accumulating on my front porch beneath an overhanging eave. I received a return phone call within minutes from Josh. He was able to schedule an appointment to come out to my house within just a few days of my initial phone call to assess the situation. Josh arrived right on time and went right to work. He spent about one hour searching for the source of the standing water. He went up on the roof, into my attic and also checked the area below my elevated porch. After his very thorough inspection, Josh was able to determine that there was no problem with the roof and no signs of leakage from above. The problem was not roof related and was likely caused by water blowing onto the open porch and not draining completely through the indoor/outdoor carpet installed there. He was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. There was no charge of any kind for the inspection. I will definitely be calling on Pisgah Roofing in the future should any roof repairs or updating become necessary.

I had a wonderful and professional experience with Kip, who came out and diligently went through every line on the contract with me. He went over every stage of what was going to happen on my roof my gutters and all the repair work for my facia and my soffits before anything was signed on the contract which I truly appreciate. I would recommend this company to anybody and I’m most especially would ask that you have Kip come out and be the sales person for you.

THE BEST ROOF JOB EVER!! They did the most amazing job on my roof!! My house looks so amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend them! One of the best things about the company is the oversight of their projects.

To sum up: yes, as they say in their ads, Pisgah Roofing is the Company that calls you back -- UNTIL THEY HAVE THE CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT!!!!!! Then it is very unreliable if they will communicate with you or even show up when promised. The actual roof is very, very nice, the gutters are great. However, you may be very, very, VERY frustrated in the interim process. It's sad, because in addition to the roof Pisgah just replaced, I have two more roofs on this property that will need installation within the next two years.I would not recommend Pisgah Roofing. Here are my trials:It all began when the salesman lost our deposit check, which resulted in our having to cancel the check incurring a bank fee. The technician was scheduled to come to our house and do the measurements and he did not show or call on the day he was scheduled. He did show up, unannounced the following day, and was almost attacked by my dog as we were not expecting anyone. Then Pisgah tried to schedule the work when we would be out of town, after we communicated with the salesman that they would not have access to the property during that period. After the schedule was corrected, Pisgah had a complete mix-up with materials delivery, again more than two weeks before project start, with an attempt to deliver material that did not belong on my project to my property. This resulted in me having to coordinate with their material delivery driver to rectify the situation.Actual roof install went very well. Then came the gutter installation.... Gutters were scheduled - no show, no call. Now, full disclosure: I am a retired contractor. When I had reasons (weather, material or personnel issues) that caused me to miss a scheduled day with the customer - I contacted that customer AND SHOWED UP THE NEXT DAY!!!!! When I didn't hear from anyone the scheduled day, I contacted my Pisgah Project Manager and was told he would look into it. THREE days later I am informed my gutters are scheduled for the next day....Again no show, no call, I contact Pisgah. Then I'm informed they will be out the NEXT day. Again no show, no call and I contact Pisgah. Etc., etc.FINALLY, after SIX ATTEMPTS, and more than 3 weeks, the gutters are installed.I texted Pisgah that I had a leak (after the completion of the new roof) and was asked for a picture which I promptly provided. Five days later I'm informed Warranty will be out the next day. When I asked what time I got no response. When Warranty did show up, they did correct the leak.

Conner came out within the week to give me an estimate on a roof leak and some other issues and discussed financing options etc. He took his time and went up into my attic to look at the state of the woof around the leaks. Very professional service. Would recommend.

I would have given 5 stars if the old paint on and around my porch, doors, exposed rafters, and windowpanes had been sanded down or scraped prior to repainting, as the sales representative, David, indicated would happen. When I conveyed my dissatisfaction about the painting results to the project manager, Jody (and Jody was excellent), he said that they only sand away chipped or peeling paint and otherwise they paint over the existing paint and an “alligator appearance” is the normal result. He said if I wanted the old paint sanded down, that that would have cost a lot more money.I chose Pisgah Roofing and Restoration to replace my siding with Hardie board siding (they did have to install sheathing, replace some insulation and install a moisture barrier), replace gutters and repair cracked stucco on one side of my home (I was told the foundation work would be contracted out to a vendor they work with). My home had wood siding, but two-thirds of the wood siding was covered with vinyl siding. I felt the cost of the work was quite expensive. The home is in Asheville, built in 1926 is a 922 SF single story house. It is a second home and not a rental. My primary residence is 2 hours away in Charlotte. I had 3 companies come out to quote the work. I received two quotes, both at $40K. I chose Pisgah due to their longevity in the industry, local presence, and I was told that they use their own employees for the work. Overall, they did a very good job. It took a full 2 months to complete the work due mostly to the weather. There are some things that I wish had gone differently. I would suggest that when you meet with the salesperson, write down all the details of the job as discussed. When you receive your contract scrub it well, to ensure everything discussed and agreed to is in the contract. Otherwise, you will pay for add-ons. David, the sales associate, said that a “walk around the property” would take place with him, the project manager and me to review the specifics of the job prior to the work starting. This meeting took place, but I was not made aware of it, so I was not there. If I had been there, I think a lot of the issues could have been mitigated. Here are some things to know when evaluating using this company: They do use a contracted workforce. They are not Pisgah employees, but they are supervised by a Pisgah employee. I understand the need to use contract staff or contract out the work due to the shortage of skilled workers in all industries, but they should have been transparent about this from the start. The supervisor does not stay on site but makes regular visits and is available by phone to the workers. The workers were all friendly and courteous. Be aware that when you call the office, all calls are directed to voicemail. No one from the office ever returned my calls. They did email me occasionally regarding scheduling dates, but I never actually spoke with anyone in the office. Once I got Jody’s number (Project Manager), I no longer called the office. Jody was a great communicator and kept me informed of the progress of the job.Pisgah was quick to fix any issues. During demolition a few windowpanes were broken, an interior windowsill was cracked, and my front and back porch lights did not work after the new siding was installed. All these issues were quickly resolved. They also fixed areas that were painted the wrong color, like my porch ceiling and several window frames. Overall, the project outcome was very good, and I would recommend them, but would encourage the homeowner to be present as much as possible during the work, to make sure everyone is on the same page with the details and scope of the job. The level of customer service provided by the Project Manager, along with the quality of the work performed (other than the painting of the areas mentioned in the first paragraph), would have resulted in a 5 star rating.

Josh from Pisgah showed up as promised and reviewed my issue with the facia sheet metal overing and conferred with his"boss" and came back with an "on the house" repair offer which was a pleasant surprise. Pisgah does quality work and Josh said that the installation of this facia covering was NOT how Pisgah does things which further attests to their integrity.

Had roof and chimney issues resulting in leaks. Called these guys based on Angi recommendation and I must say I was not disappointed. During rotten weather they came and worked between showers, diagnosed chimney damage and got everything repaired with patience to this nervous homeowner; they were polite and professional throughout the entire process.I would totally recommend this company to anyone needing roof or chimney, work or restoration.

Conner showed up a few minutes early ahead of our scheduled time and did a thorough job of explaining their process, conducted a physical roof inspection, and then went through a detailed explanation of their roofing process, warranty, and estimated timeframe to complete the job. I was impressed with his professionalism.

Took almost 3.5 months to complete work that I was quoted to take 4-6 weeks. Promptly Paid 1/2 deposit and didn’t hear a thing for months.. Apparently my first two project managers were either fired or quit. When work finally got underway, the bare minimum was accomplished, none of the trim that I paid for and all the debris were left laying in my yard for weeks. (I figured someone was returning to finish the rest) Then without ever coming to finish the job I was sent a final invoice to pay. So I had to call and get them to come out again to finish the work, and clean up the huge pile of sharp metal and screws in my yard.So even the second to coming out they didn’t finish. They left of half way though the trim. I dont know much about roofing but I know an unfinished job when I see one. The third time out the job finally was finished. And looked pretty good. Though I’m still picking up screws from around, I’ve a young child to consern.I honestly can’t understand this level of oversight from a business that is supposed to be the best around.. I really hate to leave a bad review but this experience was quite stressful for me and my fiancé and I feel like it was necessary in to communicate it.

Prompt, same day evaluation and quote. Prompt follow up shingle matching after accepting quote. Astute evaluation of roof leak which was able to be recapitulated by hose test (by me).The repair was completed approximately a month later and appears to have been done well. Was told don’t need to be home for the repair, which was true and convenient. However an inspector then wanted to stop over right after. Well, still wasn’t home, but it’s a digital age with motion detecting and alerting security cameras, and his inspection consisted of walking up on our retaining wall ledge (I worked hard to level all those top pavers last summer—thanks a lot guy for walking on all of them) and peering at the repair from a distance. No ladder or true up close inspection. Was told it all looked good nonetheless. Didn’t see binoculars. Not sure how he could really tell. Seemed like a formality more than quality assurance, which boils down to inconvenient rather than helpful if not doing it properly.Worse, during the repair they ignorantly utilized my patio table as a work bench. Scuffed and cut through my table cover and cut into table. In full disclosure, I was eventually compensated for it.To complete full disclosure, they ask for a Google review after the initial eval and offer a small discount if you complete a 5 star review… Nice to get a discount, not nice to make an effort to skew reviews in a positive light before any work is actually done. The initial evaluation went well, and the quality of the work is probably good, but a few things happened that just didn’t inspire confidence, which is what you would hope you could have when putting repair/replacement of something as important and expensive as your roof into someone else’s hands. My review was therefore updated from 5 to 3 stars. I don’t have reason to believe this is the norm for this company and understand sometimes unfortunate things happen. Overall, I would probably give them another chance based on the apparent quality of the work, their initial helpfulness, and addressing of issues after they happened.

I hired Pisgah Roofing to replace 2 roofs. I inducated clearly that the 1st job had lots of rotten wood. I was assured that the estimate was correct. I sent my 50% deposit for both properties. At the 1st job they told me I needed to pay thousands of dollars more AFTER they tore off the roof! The same thing happened at the 2nd job. I requested numerous times to speawith the owner. I received a text that the owner will not speak to me and they are going to lein my properties. No way to conduct business. They lowball the estimate to get the job and then charge extra. I will be hiring an attorney to deal with them. Very unprofessional. I have done 25+ roof jobs in the past and this is the worst experience.
