I searched online for privacy fences. Saw an advertisement on TV, I immediately contacted H.I.S. They responded very quickly. Within a week Josh came to my home, showed me prices and several photos to choose from. The installers Lorenzo & his assistant was amazing. They worked non stop until it was completed even during misty rain. Lorenzo work is so professional and I'm very pleased and satisfied with my fence. It brought out so much beauty in our home. Much needed improvement.

From the office to the installation every thing was 5 star service ! Jeff, Sharon, and David kept us informed with all scheduling. Victor and his crew did a great job on the roof installation and clean up afterwards, gutter crew also did a great job. From the first visit for estimate to job completion was just under 2 weeks. My dad had a partcial roof repair to a room that was added to his house many years ago which had starting leaking. With the advise of The Improvement Store, they completed the work in one day, did some cleaning and work on the gutters and dad and myself are very pleased with the work. And I want to add they cleaned up very well!!! I will have them back should we need them again!!!

I got my fence done with the Improvement store recently. Sharon from their office constantly communicated with me, letting me know what was happening each step of the way. Even after the project was completed, she still reached out to make sure that it was to my satisfaction. Lorenzo was my installer who explained what he was doing and was always happy and willing to change anything about the build. I felt that he had my best interest at heart from start to finish. I am so happy with my new privacy fence.

The crew did a wonderful job and did everything asked of them and more. When an error was found on the contract that left one instance of damage even after I had signed my approval of the job. The company came back and fixed the remaining damage with no argument or extra fees.

First I would like to say this is my experience with them, not saying this is always how they do business. I contracted with The Improvement Store for a large concrete job of about 3,300 square feet at a cost of over 35,000.They allowed just 2 days to do it and the crew size along with late concrete delivery resulted in trying to remove and pour concrete past 9:00 pm. The results was having concrete on garage door, 8 ceramic vases and leftover concrete pieces of about 14 gallons that I had to pick up. For some reason they decided to put wet concrete on top of a bed of brick chips in two different places. After several calls and weeks they came back out and partially cleaned the vases, and they did try to reassemble a landscape wall that have to be removed due to its location near driveway., that I didn't expect them to do, but was appreciative, I sent a message saying they came and it looks better but there was still concrete that they didn't remove, and if they would tell me how I would finish cleaning. The response word for word was "glad it looks better" and completely dismissed me. The concrete some was resurfaced and some was new concrete. The side walk after 2 weeks cracked, not hairline cracks, but I do have several of those also., but cracked open with a gap that had to be patched. I suggest if you are thinking about having some concrete resurfaced, you might want to think again. I also would like to add no one from the improvement store came out to inspect, they sent the contractors back out instead. This sends a message I think that once you sign contract with them, they don't care.******** see add on remarks belowThe improvement store has since contacted me and returned to finish cleaning the vases, bird baths, and glass storm door. It’s now back to looking like it did before the concrete was splattered everywhere. Some things you just can’t undo but I am so glad and appreciative of the excellent clean up they did on all my vases and bird bath.Since the improvement store did contact me back and clean up what they could I changed my review to 3 stars.

(11/07/23) Update- I recently had another project completed by the Improvement Store. A screened in porch was added to the back of my home. The workers were incredibly detailed, oriented and professional.(4 months ago)-Hi I just had a white vinyl fence installed with this company. The fence looks great. The 2 men that came were truly kind, respectful, and extremely hard working. I feel more secure at home now.

We hired the Home Improvement Store to rebuild our large deck. Dan Darland and his crew did a terrific job, and we are extremely happy with the entire project. The job took about a week which was faster than I expected. They hauled all the old decking away each night and when they were done you couldn’t even tell they were there, except for the new deck.

Saw the advertisment here in the military paper here in Fayetteville, NC. You have to watch the prices here as the monthly price is shown but when you see the "18 months same as cash" watch your wallets.I asked the customer service representative 5 times what is the price of the 12X20 shed and she continued to say it was $13,911.00 dollars. They get you on financing.a shed almost twice its worth.I purchased from Lowes and saved about $10,000 dollars.

I had vinyl siding installed on my home. The workmanship was terrific, the communication from Jessica, project manager, was exceptional. I was informed of when the work would begin and updates during the installation process. She sent me pictures documenting the entire installation process and the final look of the home. I could not be more pleased with her professionalism. From the initial site visit with Josh and his evaluation and thorough explanation of the product, warranty, and payment options, I felt comfortable with my decision to work with The Improvement Store. And finally, Alberto, the installer, did an excellent job and always left the job site clean at the end of everyday.I was so pleased with the entire team that I have called Josh to order the installation of new vinyl windows. In today’s environment, the norm seems to be disappointment with contractors. In this case, the team exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them for home improvement projects.

We contracted with The Improvement Store for roof, window and siding replacement. The sales person, Josh, was on time and knowledgeable. After the initial meeting we had the full scope of work planned and had approved financing. It took around 4 hours with my wife and I asking a lot of questions and making color selections. Josh was very patient and assisted throughout the meeting and beyond with any issues or questions I had. No down payment or deposit was required.The roofing installation was scheduled within a few weeks and was completed on time. Jack and his crew were friendly and hard working. After the roof install was complete, the window installer came out to measure for windows to be ordered and manufactured. At the time the material became available to install, I had some other projects going on around the house and asked to delay the siding and window installation. They worked with me and pushed the schedule out on two different occasions, extending the project by about a month. The siding and window replacement was scheduled next and was completed on time. Alberto and his crew did a really good job on the siding and windows.During the entire process, I was contacted with general weekly updates and as the dates approached, material delivery and installation dates. After the roofing and siding were complete, I noticed a couple of minor installation issues that I didn’t catch before I signed off on the completion forms. Our PM, John, made sure all of my concerns were addressed and the issues were taken care of before closing out the job and sending in the paperwork for the loan to begin.Overall our experience was positive and I am happy with the work that was completed. I have gotten a response posted rebuking this problem from the owner. The response claims it was already like this. If this was like this then the rest of the roof should be the same way since the house was built at the same time. I have added a second picture of the other gutters to show a difference.Carolina improvements put a new metal roof on. After a good rainstorm I noticed that one 10ft section of gutter wasn't working. The metal was brought down to far and covered most of gutter. The rest of the gutters are fine only this one section is messed up. 1st call I was told they would fix. 2weeks later they called and said they would fix at my expense. On the old roof this gutter worked and on the rest of the new roof the gutters are working. I am not sure why they messed this one up and then refuse to fix. All she could say was sorry I was disappointed and have a good day. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and QUALITY CONTROL
