Richard did a lot of work on my home as well as a lot of work for my grandma before she passed away on her house. He is always on time and can do just about anything that you'd need a handyman for! He has done drywall repair, basic plumbing (unclogging and fixing both of my toilets), electrical work (installing a ceiling fan) etc. At my grandma's house he installed a downstairs shower and toilet making it comfortable for her as she was unable to use the stairs anymore. His prices are extremely reasonable and he will explain everything to you if you have any questions about the work he is doing. He even went to the store with my mom and picked out parts for my grandma's shower since she was not sure what she wanted at the time! I was very happy with all the work he has done and highly recommend him if you need any work done in the Hickory area.Edit: I wanted to add he did HVAC work for myself and my aunt as the original pipes in both our houses were made of dangerous and cheap plastics that were bursting open and lint blowing all over my crawl space upstairs! He did a fantastic job replacing the pipes at a much lower price than we had been quoted by a contractor and without taking out the wall as the contractor suggested! I am very happy to have found a local reliable handyman and will definitely use him for any repairs in the future.

I use Richard when any time that is needed. One call does mostly anything you can think of. We have a house in Hickory and while we were staying there he remodel our bath all by himself. Our second home is out of state and he checks on the place once a week or as needed to make sure things are OK. Tried to get him to come here because they are hard to find such quality work.Always showed up ten minutes early every day. Only breaks he took was to eat a sandwich in his work truck and was back at it. I'm a first time customer and am very pleased with the results of the bathroom remodel Richard did for me. Given that this was quite a tedious project, it was completed in a respectable time frame. I appreciate that he didn't just fly through and that he took the time to make sure things were correct. I now have a brand new bathroom, free from worries of leaks or burst pipes! I was very pleased by the service I got. The company came in boxed up all my belongings, had all my bedding dry cleaned, cleaned up the huge mess that was created by the ceiling craving in, and just did a wonderful job in a timely matter. I would definitely recommend this company!

We scheduled to get an estimate on our ceiling for a Saturday at 1pm. He called at 12:15 asking us to move up the time. I told him we were in home depot getting paint mixed and we would try to be there by 12:30. We arrived at 12:42.. no one there. No call. I waited until after our appointment time at 1 then called. After 8 rings he answered. He said he was there until 12:40- which means we would have passed him in the development. We passed no one. He said he had an appointment and was too busy to do anything until September, yet he never said when I called initially. He is the one who set a 1pm time. I do not do business with a liar. Who is to say what else he would lie about??!! Not trust worthy. Not reliable.
