Our a/c stopped cooling our house in the late afternoon on a Friday. I called several “24 hour” businesses and only got one response which didn’t have any availability until Wednesday. I finally saw ENC Heating & Air in the list and they were actually open on a Saturday! Had 3 foster kid coming home from daycare @ 5:30pm and called him at 4:15pm by 5:40pm we had our air back on on a hot day and the technician most likely had a long hot day as well. Friendly, informative, and literally the definition of what a 5 star review truly is. I will never call anywhere else but ENC HVAC. Price was good for an emergency hvac repair that required parts. I had my a/c go out on a Friday night, as they seem to do. Contacted ENC Heating and Air on Facebook early Saturday and he had my a/c diagnosed, parts bought, repaired, and running before noon, as well as answering other trouble calls. Chris was super professional and knowledgeable, fixed my unit in less than half an hour, even went under my crawl space to ensure condensation drainage was good and removed some unnecessary pipes that were clogging my system, recommend 💯

If you need work done, call this guy. I called 5 or 6 other places today to get my ac fixed. It was over 90 degrees in my house. Two places told me it would be 2 to 4 weeks before they could come out, because I wasn't already an established customer. The other two that I was able to talk to couldn't come out until Tuesday (possibly Monday, for one). However, I kept trying for quicker service and got through to this guy at ENC. His name is Chris. He said first thing tomorrow morning, possibly tonight. I set up for tomorrow, but he called back about 45 minutes later, noticing that I lived just down the road, and said he was on his way. He spent about 90 minutes in this inferno trying to find the problem. Before I called for help, I replaced both thermostats. He checked to make sure I did everything right and told me to make sure I programmed it for the heat pumps if I ever replace them again. However, they were not the problem. He found our original problem with the downstairs unit (which has not worked since March) and told us he disconnected something with the back up heating, but we wouldn't need to replace it until we need the heat, so he didn't push getting it done right away. He then found what appears to be the final problem, which was that the main breaker to the outside units was bad and needed to be replaced, but he could not legally do it, because it was considered an electrical problem. He showed me which one needed to be replaced, so I told him I would go to Lowe's and get it and replace it myself. He said to call him after I got it replaced and he would come out to see if it fixed the problem. He left and said we wouldn't owe him anything until we were sure of the problem. He called while I was trying to replace the breaker and I told him I would call him back when I was done. While I was finishing with putting the new one in, we heard a knock on our garage door. He decided to just come on over instead of waiting for me to call back. So, after this long story, bottom line....we now have both A/C units working. We asked about service plans and he said to just change the filters and hose down the coils and we should be fine. A lot of people worry about getting taken to the bank with these kind of repairs, whether A/C, plumbing,electrical, etc., but this guy is here to help, not to take advantage of people. He went above and beyond and we thank him!Service: A/C system repair

I’m so grateful for Chris!!! My ac stopped all of a sudden and I couldn’t do another night of being miserable. I called a few other providers and the earliest they could get to me would’ve been Monday or Tuesday and the one provider who couldve made it tonight wanted 100 plus 79 for after hours fee just to tell me what was the issue. I called ENC heating and got Chris. He was able to come out diagnosed my issue before I could even get my rain boots on and had it fixed in not time!! Also even gave me military discount! I can't remember his name, but the tech squeezed me in short notice to diagnose my A/C not running. Took him 7 minutes from arriving to pulling away to replace the exterior capacitor. I contacted ENC when I came Home and my thermostat read 75 but was set on 68. Chris showed up quickly and began to solve the problem! I’m Completely clueless to the HVAC system as many are but he explained everything including the operation of the system itself.
