About 8 years ago I had JW put a new roof on my home. Him and his crew did exceptional work in a short amount of time at the lowest cost of 3 other companies. I was so impressed with his worth ethic character price and attention to detail I decided to hire him once again to do vinyl siding new windows and new sliding glass door on my home. Just like before he didn’t disappoint and my 30 year old home looks and functions as a brand new one. I had another company replace my roof before finding JW Exteriors. I only wish I knew about JW before hiring the original company. The other company damaged several sections of gutter and portions of my fascia. JW fixed their damage as well as a few other projects I had around the house. Can’t recommend these guys enough. I didn’t know about them before, but I do now! They’re my “go-to” for exterior repairs and first on the list when anyone asks for a recommendation.

I would highly recommend JW Exteriors for your roofing needs. John and his crew replaced my roof in 2018, one month before Hurricane Florance hit our area. I did not lose a single shingle during that storm. He was fast and efficient and performed his job with no break on those few hot August days he was at my house. He protected my shrubs, took away the old shingles and made sure no nails were in the yard. He even replaced my wooden dormer windows with energy efficient ones. His price to replace my roof was very affordable too. Highly recommend John and his crew. Definite 5 stars!!!

We’ve used JW for 3 different projects and they have been flawless each time. From gutter repair and the removal of a chimney, to new gutters on our house and shed, they’ve been EXCEPTIONAL each time. We’re in the process of using them again for another project. I personally wouldn’t trust anyone more than this company, for anything exterior to your house.

TL; DR: Great work, done properly, the site was cleaned daily, good communication between owner (J.W.), office manager (Candice) and me. Polite, respectful, courteous and professional. Highly recommend these guys.Our roof was 23 years old and the original on the house. We took some damage in Hurricane Florence in 2018, but didn't want to deal with a a fly by night, out of state roofing company. In June 2020 we contacted several local companies for estimates. J.W. provided us with estimates for all of the different variables we asked about (metal, shingle, siding, etc.) and was the only company to provide us with links to the manufacturers of the materials he quoted, so we could see for ourselves not only the colors of the products, but all the other specifications. Working with Candice (the office manager) was great. She kept us regularly informed about where our job was on the list and the anticipated start date. We contracted with J.W. to have the roof and the siding on both the house and the shed replaced. Weather plays a big factor in roofing and siding and I wasn't surprised to have our start date pushed back a couple of times, as a result of all the rain we'd be having. However, the day (Sept 16, 2020) finally arrived, and J.W. and his crew promptly arrived at 7 am and started taking shingles off the house. All told, the whole job took 8 days (but there were some rain delays). J.W. fixed the leak in our sunroom when he replaced the shingles (the leak nobody else could figure out how to fix), everyday before he left he would check in with me and see if I had any questions. He answered my questions and ensured that I understood the answer. The entire crew was polite and respectful, and they did a great job of cleaning up the site every day, including running a magnet across the yard to pick up loose nails. The house looks fabulous and I'm beyond thrilled with this company.Service: Roof installation

The owner and his wife are wonderful. They respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. The whole process was easy. The owner comes and looks over the project, his wife sends out the estimate promptly, the contract is sent and when received, scheduled. The crew shows up on time, they are professional and get the job done well. We have used JW Exteriors twice and both times have been very happy. A+++ service.

We suffered some roof damage from hurricane Florence and based on previous reviews, selected JW Exteriors to do the repairs. They had over 30 customers ahead of us. We had numerous opportunities to have the repairs done over the past 8 months but chose to wait it out. Well, the wait has ended and I'm positive that waiting was the right choice. JW and his team were punctual, professional and produced quality results. The team made sure our property was left neat and clean daily and were also very considerate of our dogs and their safety. A special thanks to Candice who stuck with us as we changed our minds on color choice several times. We could not be happier with our roof and continue to receive compliments on how it looks. Hurricane Florence sure brought out all kinds of shady roofers and after finally able to get to sign with someone local, I thought after many months my roof would be replaced. Customer service was poor and after months of trying to get a guestimate of when it'd be my turn with no response other than I'll get a call when I'm next, decided to look for someone else. Candice not only returned my call immediately, she personally came out to look at roof, listening to my concerns and within two weeks my roof and gutters was completely done. We needed a new roof after Hurricane Florence and contacted JW off a recommendation from a neighbor who had no roof damage. Their team was great to work with from the start and our new roof looks wonderful. It took a few months to get the work done because of the high demand from the storm but they kept us updated on the timeline throughout the process and JW got a tarp up for us while we waited. Best of all she did not lose 1 shingle during Hurricane Florence! She is now going to use JW to replace the roof at my grandparents’ home. Would recommend to others.(Almost a year after)*Noticed possible leak from an unknown source inside on ceiling with visual puddle rings in drywall. JW came and inspected next day without charge and made repairs! Leak was found to be from window eves, and had nothing to do with roofing job. Thanks again for crawling around the attic in this hot weather! No exchange of money required for second visit. Thanks again!*(Update 2 years after install)-Post Hurricane Florence in highest recorded wind area, no damage or leaks across entire home! SEP2018 House is 2,000 sq ft ranch style. Shingles rated for over 30 years. All attachments held in nearly 100 mph winds recorded.

Great company!! Professional, prompt and experienced! I was in need of new gutters and some cedar siding replaced and JW came by and gave me a free estimate, which was more than reasonably priced. JW also noticed I needed a new chimney cap and made one to order. They even fixed parts of my roof where a previous company had done shoddy work. They actually care about the work they perform and the customer they're working for!!! Candace is great with communication, she's easy to talk to and she always made sure I knew what was going.JW and the team were fantastic with the roof on making sure everything is aligned and installed properly. They took the time to answer my questions and treated me with respect! JW even secured some siding down that the hurricane damage cause he wanted everything to look great. They even came back the day after to recheck the yard, since it was getting dark when they finished, to make sure everything was perfect and nothing was left in the yard.JW Roofing was a huge blessing to us. JW hurriedly got my metal roof on before Hurricane Florence. The arrived as they stated at 7:00 Am and were completed by 3:00. They are extremely cost efficient and very speedy in their work. Now they are coming back for more work to my house and my son's house due to Hurricane Florence, but my roof is great except for where a tree fell on it and bent it.
