I recently had a garage built by Ryan with Creative abundance, and I am extremely pleased with the results. Ryan and the team were professional, responsive, and communicated with me throughout the entire process. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the workmanship is excellent. Working with Ryan has been geat. We discuss any conerns or questions and get explinations why things should be done one way rather than another. We had our kitchen and two other rooms completely remodeled by Creative Abundance. Everything looks great. It's a big improvement that definitely increases the value of our home. We appreciated not being inundated with too many design decisions. A turn-key design/renovation was what we wanted. Any time we had questions or something needed to be adjusted, Ryan responded quickly and took care of it. Plus, all of his workers were friendly, efficient, and trustworthy.

I had a terrible experience with this General Contractor on many levels and would never use him again. I have done many home projects including full renovations and this is the first time I have ever reported a contractor. Simply put, this was the worst experience of my life with a general contractor. I reported this contractor to the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (“NCLBGC”). As a result, this General Contractor was cited by the NCLBGC for violations during the process. The two violations included a building code violation whereby a back door, which is approximately 4 feet above the ground, was not provided with a landing. The door was simply left hanging 4 feet off the ground. A second violation, received during the complaint process, involved the GC providing false information on his renewal application to the NCLBGC. Both of these are a matter of Public Record and I have the documentation to prove my statements.

I presented Ryan and his crew with a complicated structural addition to my residence. The existing low pitched roof line on the main structure of my house never looked aesthetically pleasing. I knew I wanted to change the roof line, but didn't have a realistic plan to implement. Ryan was able to not only develop a plan that didn't require my family to move out of the house for months, but he also utilized the new roof line create new living space. Not only did I get an attractive structure, I also got useable heated square footage that truly increased the value of my home. The problem solving, design expertise, and quality of work of Ryan DeRuby and Creative Abundance allowed my family to stay in the neighborhood we love and now stay in the home we love also.

we had our kitchen cabinets painted, backsplash replaced and countertops installed. Ryan was very helpful in the finishing decisions and extremely efficient at getting his teams in place to do the work.
