BEWARE if you are a small business owner DO NOT do business with this company. They take advantage of small business's and agree on a price and then refuse to pay them the agreed upon price. It is disgusting to take advantage of small businesses and no one who does this deserves any business. You can not continue to take advantage of people like this!!

I recently built a custom home with J&K and their services left me very satisfied. I worked with project managers Alex Aguirre and JR Blackwell and they were extremely professional and helpful. They were responsive, efficient, and seemed to truly care about the success of my home. I highly recommend J&K for anyone looking to build. They are a fairly new company but I would never have known with how well they did the job.

WARNING, DO NOT USE J&K without reading this first.Let me start off by saying that I am a reasonable human being, who understands that things don't always go as smoothly as we would like. I have sympathy for errors that come with building things and can accept these errors as long at they are dealt with in a reasonable way in a reasonable amount of time. I am writing this review to warn others to look elsewhere.For reference we have lived in our "custom house" for approximately one year and a few months at the time of writing this.If I could give J & K "Zero Stars" I would.Let's start with overall communication.Throughout the finishing, inspection and post closing segments of this home buying process, the builder was unresponsive and unavailable. When contact was made, the demeanor of the builder was always hostile and defensive. Repeated attempts were made to make contact, but honestly, how many times should a customer really have to reach out to get a "custom home builder" to fix these egregious problems. During closing, multiple issues were acknowledged by the builder, who never followed up and never fixed them even when we followed up. Keep in mind, some of the work was done by sub contractors, but the house is a J&K house and they are the general contractor who is responsible for everything that went into it.Now let's talk about the poor craftsmanship throughout the house.1. Multiple garage doors were improperly installed improperly. So much so that the system was separating from the headway and destroying the drywall with it.2. The carport roof has a rubber membrane that was improperly installed and which has torn off exposing the plywood underneath.3. Multiple bedrooms have "soft spots" where the subfloor was improperly/poorly installed. (I fully expect to randomly fall through the floor at some point to be honest.)4. Molding is popping off the walls, taking large areas of paint with it.5.The Jacuzzi tub leaks water everywhere. It also had grout dumped down the drain which clogged it resulting in a massive plumbing bill. When we inspected underneath the tub it is full of literal garbage. Yeah, like bottles and cans etc.6. The well company was never contacted to come back and finish the well for inspection leading to a completely damaged well pump, damaged interior appliances and thousands of extra dollars in repairs to get it working again. (Imagine moving into your new "custom home" only to not have any water.7. Multiple window frames were never finished, or painted.8. Bathtub has chips in it that were never repaired.9.Wood floor is buckling in multiple places.10. The entire property was littered with mountains of construction and general garbage. Beer cans, soda bottles, broken bricks and tile, concrete, glass, etc.11. Carpets were all destroyed by contractors throughout the construction process.12. The front door was badly damaged during installation and was never weather sealed. Yet another thing the builder was supposed to come back and fix.13. Multiple electrical outlets do not work, or have shorted out, sometimes smoking.14. Whole strings of exterior lights no longer work and must be completely replaced.The last thing the builder said to me before he left was "Enjoy your new home!"Safe to say, I certainly have not enjoyed it.There is more, but at this point I think you get the picture. I caution anyone from using J&K as they lack integrity, do not honor their commitments, and are not masters of their trade.Services: General construction, Tile work replacement, Carpentry services, General repairs, Plumbing fixture installation
