I called Olde Raleigh Roofing needing gutter repair. The area that needed the repairs was on the second story and was way too high to consider doing it myself.I called to schedule an appointment and was told that they could come out in a few hours. I wasn’t at all sure that they would take a small job like this. Daniel Terry and Olde Raleigh Roofing put a new roof on our home over 6 years ago and they have given the same excellent customer service and high quality of work from day one to this past week when they repaired some minor leaks due to the recent harsh weather. I contacted him and they were there the next day and this is for a small repair. We highly recommend him and his roofers. He also shared with me that my warranty is still active and when to renew. Great guy and great company.

Olde Raleigh Roofing has the best customer service of any contractor I have ever dealt with. We had a small leak in our roof appear Saturday. Monday I called two very large local roofing providers. One took two days to return my call and the other neglected to tell me that they only repair roofs they installed until 45 minuets later when the service tech called. I was beginning to think there was no good roofers in the Triangle.After this I called Olde Raleigh and Daniel answered right away. He had a service tech to my house in three hours of my call. Daniel gave me a very fair price for the work and our roof is being fixed as I type this! I would recommend Olde Raleigh to anyone needing roof work. If you want prompt and courteous service with a great price DO NOT call anyone but Olde Raleigh Roofing.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!In preparation for selling our house, we had Olde Raleigh Roofing come and look over our roof and fix a couple of small leaks we had. They came out to provide an estimate, the technician looked over the roof and took pictures of the damage and then gave me an estimate right away. He showed me what the issues were and explained exactly what he would do. He did the repairs immediately and we opted to purchase a two year warranty on the work as well. We were very satisfied with how fast the service was, and the quality of the results.Once an offer was made on our house, the building inspector came and claimed that the roof needed replacing. The buyers insisted that we replace the roof or have a company come out to inspect it and say that it was still good. I contacted Olde Raleigh Roofing to ask them to reassure us that the roof still had a lot of life left in it. They went above and beyond in providing a signed letter to assure us and the buyers that our roof still had at least 10 years in it. This saved us the cost of replacing the roof or losing the sale of our home. We are so grateful to Old Raleigh Roofing who did that free of charge and on the same day that I contacted them!They are fast, courteous and provide excellent service. I would not hesitate to use them again for any roof issues we might have in the future.

We found ourselves with several roof leaks a year ago and chose Olde Raleigh based off the feedback of a few neighbors who had a great experience with them. I called the owner, Daniel, thinking we would probably need a new roof. He sent his team out the same day to evaluate our roof and told me that we didn't need a new roof and instead, they had pinpointed the leaks and could repair them at a fraction of the cost. It was then that I learned just how honest and straightforward these guys were. I was totally willing to pay them thousands more dollars for a new roof, but they didn't take advantage of me! Along with the repair, they also gave us a three year warranty against any new leaks. 6 months later, we got a new leak and I called Olde Raleigh again. They came out immediately, and made the repair - walking me through exactly what was causing the issue. I continue to be impressed with their excellent service, professionalism, and prompt communication. I have recommended Olde Raleigh to several friends since and wanted to leave my feedback here as well. I am one happy customer!

Olde Raleigh Roofing is Great! After submitting 3 online requests for a roof leak I had the only company to call me back was them. The came out the same day, fixed my leaks and also fixed others issues I did not know I had. They explained exactly what they found and how it was going to be fixed. They even showed pictures both before and after the repairs. I know I made the right decision after talking with Daniel on the phone. He was very professional and understanding about my needs. I investigated roofing companies on the internet before calling, reading reviews for each. The people who only needed repairs rated Olde Raleigh highly, and I wanted to avoid the hard sell on a new roof. Olde Raleigh has good stats in the BBB listing, and the complaints against them in Google reviews and the BBB seemed to have gotten resolved to the customer’s satisfaction. They were head and shoulders above the rest in the reviews and comments I found. There are some companies that seem to run repairs as an accidental sometimes thing. Olde Raleigh roofing & repair is a 5 star company!! They provided me with a detailed inspection of my roof and a written guarantee for the work that was done. They showed up the day I called them and the technician was very knowledgeable and professional! He provided outstanding service for my family and even respected our time needed to nap our kids! Our roof leak on a relatively new home was an emergency since water came through our inside bedroom wall. Daniel was very responsive, took his time explaining the values we would get for the price vs. another lower quote. We ended up going with Olde Raleigh Roofing because of their added quality value and prompt next day service. We also purchased a warranty from them so this will be a long-term relationship although we hope nothing will actually happen.

After the two hurricanes moved through Raleigh in late 2018, I had a severe leak develop around a through-the-roof chimney. After dealing with two other roofing companies; the first roofing company made the problem worse by creating caulk dams and the second roofing company took over 6 weeks to just give an incomplete estimate; I called Olde Raleigh Roofing. Daniel Terry was very responsive and he and his team provided great customer service. Most importantly, Olde Raleigh Roofing repaired the roof and the chimney, correctly, the first time, and they stand behind their work with a written warranty. We had several roofing companies provide us with quotes for a much needed new roof before selecting Olde Raleigh Roof Company. The owner took time out of his busy schedule to personally answer questions we had. The work was outstanding and when we compared our roof to our neighbors that chose a different roofing company, we knew we made the right decision.We even purchased a new rain gutter system from them after the roof installation was complete. The owner followed up to ensure our complete satisfaction before requesting final payment. I would recommend Olde Raleigh Roofing if you have repairs that need immediate attention. We had a minor leak in our second floor that sprang up one night during a downpour. I contacted Olde Raleigh about 9am and they had a technician at my house by 2:30. The work was completed the same day as well as service to the rest of my roof. Cleanup was professionally done as well as the technician.

I waited for several weeks, after a roofing contractor agreed to repair my damaged roof. He never came back. I called Olde Raleigh Roofing about 9:30 in the morning, to inquire about their service. I was treated very well on the phone and felt my roof was the MOST important job. Amy made an appointment, but later, called me back, to let me know they had a cancellation and the crew was available to repair my roof today. I agreed and they came, as promised. They evaluated to problems and I agreed to allow the repairs to begin. It took about 2 hours to complete all the repairs. WOW! I was extremely satisfied with the results. I only wish I had known about this company earlier, I wouldn't have wasted so much time waiting on another contractor. I would recommend this company, with confidence you would be satisfied.

Olde Raleigh Roofing was quick to respond to my initial call, and quickly diagnosed the issues with my roof. From the beginning, I knew that the technician knew what he was doing. I had hired other general contractors before to do roofing work in an effort to save some money, but they never really fixed the issues properly. I should have called Olde Raleigh Roofing from the start. They were always quick to respond to questions and always very informative about what they were doing. I even asked them to remove an old satellite dish, and they made an additional trip out to take care of that at no extra charge. The price was definitely reasonable for the amount of work done, and it's a big peace of mind to know that my entire roof is covered under warranty for 3 years. Don't skimp on roofing work...just hire professionals like these guys and get it done right the first time; you'll save money and headaches in the long run.

I had a mystery leak that was bringing in water to my second floor during the hurricane weather. After the rains stopped, I requested a quote online and received a phone call from Daniel within two hours, even though it was a high volume time given the recent storm activity. They sent a specialist to inspect my roof the next day! The specialist was very polite, knowledgeable and took time to explain to me what the problem was and the best way to address it. We contacted Olde Raleigh Roofing & Repair regarding a skylight which was leaking. The technician arrived as scheduled, evaluated the problem and, while on the roof, surveyed for other "deferred maintenance" issues. Finding some, he took photographs and reviewed the situation with us. We elected to not only replace the leaking skylight but to also have routine maintenance on the problems noted. On the day of repair, the technician arrived as scheduled and performed the needed services, replacing torn and cracked boots and performing other services as needed. He presented us with photographs of the completed work. No drama. No hard sell. Just a job well done.

We have been SO pleased with our entire experience with Olde Raleigh Roofing! They were immediately responsive, very helpful, reassuring, available, better than reasonably priced, experienced, great at problem solving, expeditious, clean, and courteous...We moved into our new (built in 1980) home 2 & 1/2 weeks ago and had roof leaks within the first 2 days. It was quite disheartening. We had known from the inspection report that the roof had some wear on it, but that it also still had some life left in it. When the roof started leaking, we called A&B Roofing per a referral from a friend. What a mistake. The salesman came out and the first thing he asked me was if I had Home Owners Insurance because 90% of what they do is replace roofs due to hail and wind damage through H/O Ins. I should have known - As someone once told me, "If you go to Midas, you are going to get a muffler." He provided us a quote for a new roof = 15,000$. Such a company is really just trying to sell you the new high ticket roof. They are uninterested in helping solve problems or fix leaks. The gentleman placed some "boot collars" (which turned out to be the wrong size) on our vent boots to prevent further leaking, to the tune of 350$. I paid him and the NEXT DAY we continued to have leaks in the same place. I called him to explain the situation and his response was: "I really don't know what to do about that." How very disappointing.As I asked around for other referrals, another friend who is quite home improvement savvy told us about a program that Olde Raleigh Roofing had where they inspect your roof and repair any leaks and replace all components like vent boots, etc. They use new technology with special screws, they replace shingles, the reseal all necessary places. I called the company and got a return call within minutes. Daniel explained the program: as described above, all components would be updated, resealed, etc. AND THEN THEY WARRANTY the work for 2 yrs! ANY SUBSEQUENT leaks within that 2yr period, they repair. The cost is dependent upon the number of components that your roof has. Our cost was 2,350$ for 7 boots, an attic fan, and 4 skylights, as well as work on the ridge vent. The work was scheduled for the following day. The man who did the work was courteous, informative, very knowledgeable, very accommodating (he came in twice to look at our concerns in the attic and in the ceiling) and very expeditious. He did most of the work that first day - working until dark. Unfortunately, it rained HARD the next 2 days and we continued to have leaks. I was very concerned! I called Daniel again and he called me back immediately. He reassured me that his worker was not yet done and that when he was done, we would no longer have ANY leaks.The worker just completed the work and all looks absolutely picture perfect. He solved some problems we had around 2 vents that were large, were lacking inner flappers to prevent water from collecting within, and had been extended through a first roof up to the existing roof (the addition). He added to the vents, bending them to make an elbow so that no further water would collect in them. Additionally, the worker cleaned up ALL of his work. He was great. Daniel then called to check on us and make sure we were satisfied.IN summary, we are so pleased with our experience with Olde Raleigh Roofing. You might wonder if we will feel the same way once it rains again ... What if we have another leak? Well, then they will come back out and repair it free of charge.

I woke up to a leak in my roof and emailed them before they opened in the morning. By 9am, they called me to make an appointment and by 1pm they were here repairing the roof. The technician was really helpful and took pictures of all leaks and damages up in the attic and on the roof so I'd understand his explanation of the repairs I would need - which I greatly appreciated. With my roof being 13 years old with some damage, I was certain anyone I called would try to sell me on roof replacement, but not Daniel. He accessed the situation, quoted me a price to repair the two damaged areas, offered to inspect my entire roof and fix any other potential issues including replacing all roof vents, plumbing boots, chimney flashing, and any damaged shingles. He topped all this off with a two year warranty for the entire roof... all at reasonable price well below the cost of a new roof. The roofing Tech was professional punctual, and answered all my questions. The work was done quickly and clean-up was complete. My wife and I now have peace of mind and thousands of dollars still in our pockets. This company came out to repair a small leak in a valley of my roof. They came out and did the work fine as I am no longer having any problem with the leak. My problem here is the cost. After a quick look at the roof, the man told me it would cost me $1250 to fix it. I thought this was a very high price for 2 men working only 2 hours and using 1 bundle of shingles for an area that appears less than 50 square feet. He finally lowered this price to $1000 for the job. As it was about to storm and I didn't want any more water damage to my ceiling and they were already there I had them do it. After they left I researched the average price in this area for this kind of job by similar reputable and insured contractors and found it to be between $400 and $700 for what I had done. The amount they charged for this small repair was 1/10 what he quoted to replace the entire roof of the house. ($10,000) I called them back and told a manager I felt the price they charged was excessive. I was told I was paying for their gas and time and insurance and materials time lost doing other jobs and office help etc etc etc. While I understand these costs must be covered, it was not my intention to cover them all by paying for my small job. In conclusion, I believe this company did the job correctly but they appear to charge excessively for even the smallest jobs. If you have the time, it would pay to get several estimates from reputable contractors before having work done but be aware that this company will not leave you with a written estimate as I was told.

The tech came out to look at what I had going on. First he looked in the attic them moved up to the roof. He took pictures and showed me where the leak was coming from. The roof vent systems where falling. The job would require him to remove the shingles and tar paper as well as the roof vents. After he took all that off he found the the wood in the area would need to be replaced. The cost did not go up from the origanal agreed price which it could have due to the excessive wood damage. The job was completed and he showed me the repairs. I feel a lot better now that it is fixed and have a 3 year warranty. I highly recommend this company.

After having other roofers come out to check a chronic leak and tell us that nothing was wrong (despite the fact that water was pouring into our house every time there was a heavy rain) these guys come out, take a whole bunch of pictures, and really spend the time. They identified the problem and really worked with our budget, offering multiple options, and even offering some extra preventative care. Great customer service experience.

Dan came by to give an estimate. It was very thorough and verbal detailed estimate was provided.It was a little difficult to get in touch with him after never able to get a written estimate. However when he finally came by to do the work it was great. His staff came when he said they would. They finished before time promised, waited for us to check . made the couple of adjustments we needed. The quality of the work is good. There was heavy rains in our area this past week. we have had no further leaks.

We have the Gold Star warranty. We reported some missing shingles before Mathew hit. Soterro came out to look and Mr. Terry called me and assured there would be no leakage to worry about. A week later they were able to come out and replace the shingles. Happy to have the warranty.
