Chet was knowledgeable, available to answer questions and responded quickly. He worked with our insurance, too. Unfortunately, our insurance refused to cover any repairs, let-a-lone a total replacement. Roofwise worked with us and gave us a fair price for out of pocket replacement. The crew completed everything in a day and a half, including demo and clean up. I appreciated the added aluminum edging detail which was practical but also looked great. I'm very please with the quality, professional work. Great local company! Thank you Chet and Roofwise!

Excellent experience from start to finish! Roofwise inspected my roof and found the issues. They provided professional guidance on how to obtain warranty coverage for replacement of the roof. New GAF shingles were installed. The team arrived as scheduled, worked very hard, and completed our home in about 12 hours. They protected everything on the sides (flowers, bushes, etc.). They were very thorough in the cleanup and nail removal. This family-owned local business is to be applauded for their professional approach and dedicated hand-holding with their customers. Dan and his crew were great on replacing my roof. Did my roof for my house and my 10x12 Octagon storage barn. Work was quick and very professional. Crew leader Mike and Josh were always there to make sure everything was done the right way. His crew did a fantastic job, and when they finished did a great job cleaning up after. Josh was great and very professional. He noticed some missing shingles and inspected for further damage. He did not find any other damage and replace the missing shingles. He also resealed the nails around the vent boots. I was referred to Roofwise by a neighbor and was impressed from the first contact. Yannick, the Roofwise rep, was excellent to work with, is competent, customer oriented, responsive and professional in every way. He advised us that our problem was a product defect (our roof was only 4 years old and installed by our builder) and he helped us to file a warranty claim against the manufacturer. Roofwise arrived as promised, were on time every day, were exceptionally neat and clean while working, protected our landscaping, and left without a trace of nails or trash; very impressive. I highly recommend Yannick Rook and Roofwise. In terms of the actual work, it took 2 days for a crew of 5 people to do all of the work. Everything was done seamlessly, professionally, timely, great cleanup, zero problems, etc. But that is only one of many reasons I make my recommendation. Yannick came highly recommended by many in our community, who have been very pleased with his services. I was told he did free roof inspections and I am all about "free". He informed me the shingles were in disrepair and since they were still under warranty, I should be able to get the roof replaced for free. What seemed like a relatively simple process, turned out to be quite the challenge Without his excellent guidance, we still would be stuck with a really bad roof. As our roof was put in with a different shingle than most in our community, it was quite challenging to even figure out the shingle that needed to be replaced. Yannick took us through every step of the warranty process, in which the company of the shingle did many things to try to thwart the process. Yannick was professional, responsive, informative, and cordial in our many dealings with him. The shingles that Roofwise used were of excellent quality with an excellent warranty. Of the 5 contractors I consulted, Roofwise was the only one, who on their own, suggested the best approach to replacing our broken rafters. This was the highest quality solution and added no additional costs. Roofwise was also the among the lowest bids I received which included the best shingles and quality labor. Yannick could not have been more responsive.Some contractors didn't even want to touch our roof. During the first 2 hours of Hurricane Florence, a 100yr old pecan tree fell on our roof, making a 2ft square hole, breaking several rafters and lots of sheathing. Some told me I would need a carpentry contractor to repair them before their roofing company would do the rest. Other roofers wanted to "sister" or just brace the broken rafters. Since ours is an older house (without pre-fabbed rafters), Yannick suggested he just remove the sheathing (much was broken anyway) and fully replace the broken rafters while they were doing the roof. No one else wanted that hassle I suppose but Roofwise wanted to do it right on their own initiative.On the day of the repair/roofing, they had accidentally brought rafter lumber that was a bit too short. Yannick went out and returned in an hour with adequate length replacements. He also did that repair himself and was onsite for the job. So with Roofwise, the guy you first talk to is the guy onsite and in charge on job day! I also found his helpers to be very friendly, responsive, and hard-working. When the job was done, the bill handed to me was exactly what was discussed up-front, no unpleasant surprises nor hidden costs.It has been a year now and all is well. A friend is looking for their own roof repair which reminded me that I should write this review about our great experience with Roofwise. The whole experience of finding the right contractor was a real hassle and terrifying at time given the high costs involved and our special circumstance / broken rafters. Ultimately I found only two I felt I could trust: one hit 90% of our needs at a slightly higher cost and Roofwise hit 100% of needs while also being the lowest bid as well. Still others offered things we didn't need and I had the added hassel of following-up with them to remove these extra costs in the bids. Roofwise simplified an agonizing process and delivered on promises for a reasonable cost. I'd definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

Roofwise removed old shingles, did some repairs as needed, and installed new shingles on our detached garage. Mr. Poole and others in his employ gave us good advice, did a great job, finished on time, and left the job site neat. This company does very good work.

I want to be clear: this review is about their free roof inspection service. I am not, at this point, a paying customer of Roofwise. That said, one of their employees, a Mr. Rook, inspected our roof today. He was very quick and thorough; even going so far as to using some chalk on a rooftop ventilator outlet to show the level of hail impacts the roof had undergone. Viewing a picture of this really brought home exactly what the status of my roof is. He even pushed a loose shake back into place! The best part, though, was his assessment of our roof: everything is fine. He didn't try to sell me anything; he only said to feel free to call him back whenever we want an updated assessment of our food. Based on this, I will strongly consider calling Roofwise when our house needs a new roof!

These are obviously paid ratings. Dan Poole subs out all work. Nothing wrong with that as long as you actually supervise the work. The problem is that he doesn't check behind his subcontactors. Not sure he even knows where our neighborhood is located as I haven't seen him yet, and he's been making money off of our HOA for months. The work is sub-par at best. We've had 3 different subs so far in the neighborhood. On inspection today. our brand new roof has nails sticking out of it all over the place from lazy tradesmen that don't believe that hand nailing is worthwhile (nail guns). The pictures that I am posting are all in a 10 square foot corner of our roof. If you'd like a quality shingle job on your biggest investment, please call anyone besides Dan Poole at RoofCrooks. I started my career swinging a hammer, and did so for 12 years. I wouldn't have gotten a pay check for leaving behind this kind of work. I hate to break it to Mr. Dan Poole, but I am ultimately his customer. An HOA is funded by its residents. The workmanship speaks for itself.29MAR19 Update (since Mr. Dan Poole is above responding to my direct communications): New picture added is of the nails that were picked up on our community's road in front our house in a quick, 2 min look last night with only a phone flashlight last night in the dark. I'm only hoping that my posts will help at least one person or HOA think twice about using Roofwise. They don't care...and it shows.

Roofwise put a new roof on our town home. Very shoddy work. We contacted the owner of the company, Dan Poole about some issues we had. Dan came to our residence, told my wife off, and left in his truck. Dan is very unprofessional does not care abut the work that his company does.
