There was a door to door salesman who showed up. I had a baby a few months ago and trying to get him to sleep is very hard. So we have a sign on our door that says Baby Sleeping, you wake the baby, you rock the baby. We also have a cover on our doorbell that says do not disturb. This salesman ignored the signs and knocked on our door anyway! Then walks around our yard like it's public property and knocks a second time!!! I couldn't open the door to confront him either because my dogs would've gone nuts, which would've woken up our baby. We don't even own our house so we can't buy a roof anyway. If you work in sales, being observant of your surroundings is important. SMH. Open your eyes Max M.!

We had a complete roof replacement early September 2023 by Southern National Roofing. The friendly workers took a day and a half to complete their work, and had placed tarps around the house to catch waste - and did a thorough job cleaning up after they were done. The workmanship looks finely detailed and the roof looks excellent. They also cleaned out our gutters as part of their work. Just got a 'Roof Inspection Report' by this company dropped on my front porch. It's a (bad) joke:1. The report says they have 4.5 stars for google reviews. They have 3.9.2. The report says I have ridge vent damage - my roof doesn't have a ridge vent.3. The report lists other issues that don't exist. I just had my trusted roofer here last week to do some repairs.This 'report' tactic makes me angry because I think of the people that could be (and probably are) taken in by this.Shame on you, Southern National.

I am 100% satisfied with all parts of the process and the final product!The initial inspection was on time, thorough, and not exaggerated. The inspector took detailed photos and patiently talked through all their observations.The project manager gave an excellent and comprehensive presentation on all of the different potential products, installation methods, and warranties available. We were also amicably able to work out a good price and properly handle my complex HOA paperwork.The installation process was smooth, on time, and professional from start to finish. Workers and materials arrived right as scheduled, took up a minimal amount of space, and thoroughly cleaned up all detritus from the old roof and material packaging. I was particularly impressed with the by-hand final sweep to get even the tiny non-magnetic debris out of the leaves.The final product looks great and I would definitely recommend Southern National to others!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Last spring I had 3 Salesmen ignore my No Trespassing signs and come to my door. I told all three that I have signs clearly posted and not to come on my property again. One even told me their permits allowed them to ignore the signs. All their salesmen were extremely rude and disrespectful. I called and reported all three and each time was told I was put on a do not contact list. They even put a thing on my neighbors door saying her roof was in disrepair even though she had it replaced a month before. I was assured the last time that I was on a do not contact list and no one from the company will bother me again. Well today a Salesmen came to my door again and left a door hanger and didn't ring or knock. I called the office and talked to a very nice woman who confirmed I was on a do not contact list and that their permits do not allow them to ignore no trespassing or no Solicitor signs. She asked me to please let her contact the sales manager and that the salesmen would be disciplined and not to pursue criminal charges at this time. She also assured me that no one from their company will set foot on my property again. Any company that has salesmen that are that rude and lie like they did is not a company that I want to work on my home. No one in my neighborhood wants them either and I have told all my family and friends to not do business with them either.

Last week, the sales guy knocked on my door a few times. I went out and scheduled an appointment for this saturday because we were  already looking for an estimate to replace our roof. They called me yesterday to CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT! I told him to confirm the appointment, but it was supposed to rain all day if that's OK and He said it was fine. I woke up like 5 min before the appointment that was at 10 am .I didn't even look at my phone and between one thing and other it's 10:26 am. And I looked at my phone and they text me at 8:32 am and had 3 missed call. Text to confirm my appointment ( appointment that I CONFIRM YESTERDAY) I sent them this text.  "Hey! It's already 10:26 am and no show up. We are not available anymore. Just cancel the appointment. I am not working with you. I spoke yesterday with you to confirm my appointment. There is no need to call so early in the morning." Very clear that I CONFIRM MY APPOINTMENT YESTERDAY! This is the text I received back  "Hello. We called you 3 times this morning, starting at 8am and text you to see if we should still come given the weather. I'm sure you can understand people cancel on us all the time and we don't want to show up unannounced. We didn't hear from you until now. We'd be happy to reschedule. Not everyone is a calendar keeper, unlike yourself." Making it my fault and blaming me that I am not a calendar keeper!! I responded  "Like I said, your company called me  yesterday to confirm the appointment, and I said the weather situation, and He said it was OK. There is no need to confirm again. I don't want to reeschedule.At the end of the story, I am not going to work with this company, and after reading all this reviews Not a chance!

Felt like used car salesman of roofers, complete with lying to me about the state of my roof and quoting a ridiculous price. Encountered them through door-to-door solicitation and agreed to free inspection after they said my roof was showing signs of popped nails and curling shingles. My 1hr appointment dragged out into over 2hrs, despite me saying I had to get back to work. Salesman refused to give me simple quote and instead made me go through mounds of advertising shtick. Salesman lied to me about the state of my roof, including claiming to show me pictures from their inspection of interior holes in the roof and gaps in the ridge line where sky showed through. When I was able to get up into my attic (needed ladder), I could not find the hole they claimed was there and the ridge line was all properly sealed. Also claimed my roof was in dire shape and needed replacement at a cost of $21,000 with a discount. I got second opinions and two other roofers said there was nothing major wrong with my roof and could do optional $450 of maintenance.They may do quality work, but don't trust their sales pitch- you're almost certainly paying way more than you need to for something you may not even need.

He provided very thorough information along with Justin in the office. The process was handled smoothly and professionally. I the roofing crew came out and completed the work in one long and full day. If I need another roof, I will certainly use Southern National Roofing. James

Got a "Roof Inspection Report" that looks like it's been hand filled out as if it's specific to my roof. Says I have "Granule Loss" , "Curling Shingles" , "Nail Pops" ... and numerous other problems.That'd be great if they noticed this and left me a note to point out the problems if I wanted them fixed or not. That'd be good marketing...BUT...unfortunately for this "report" is that I have a METAL ROOF. Therefore, "curling shingles" or "granule loss" and "nail pops" are totally inaccurate. This isn't an opinion here - these aspects simply aren't valid / relevant for metal roofs. You can't have a "curling shingle" if there ARE NO SHINGLES. Whoops!So either:a) This is the report everyone gets, regardless of their roof condition, which makes me doubtful of any other assessments they may give, orb) This report was filled out inaccurately, but with honest intentions, which makes me question their expertise.So, if it's an honest mistake, that's not good at all for having such an inaccurate assessment. And if it's just a generic "custom looking" report they give everyone, that's not good at all for helping build trust.Maybe they do great work on replacing roofs, but my sole experience with them so far has started on the wrong foot. May be a great company that does great work, but advertising via reports like this likely isn't the best way for this company to grow.

I had a great experience with Southern Roofing this month. Tim and Justin were great to work with and answered all questions. Tim took a lot of time with me explaining the company, materials, and work ethics of the company and made sure I had no additional questions. The installation was just a few days later, and I am very happy with the results. The roof looks great, and the crew did an excellent job cleaning up after they finished. Everyone was very professional and on time. Tim also made a follow-up inspection after the work was done. I would certainly recommend them to others.Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage

Pros:-Work crew showed up on time and worked quickly.-They assisted with getting financing.Cons:-Price is high for their work.-Sales team inspected my old roof and made recommendations that needed to be fixed (replace shingles, replace flashing, replace foundational boards that had water damage). The only thing replaced were the shingles. After the work was completed, I spoke to the operations manager about not having any new flashing or any new foundational boards, but I was brushed off as if those weren't needed. Why would your sales team mention I need them if they really weren't?-Work crew was not careful with removing old shingles. They simply threw them over the side of the house and I ended up having minor damage to my house such as black scuff marks on my white vinyl siding and a couple of screens on my windows were torn.-Cleanup was not thorough. I've found multiple nails and shingles throughout my yard. A leftover pile of new shingles was left at my house. After talking to the operations manager about removing them, he never followed up with me and the shingles are still sitting in my yard.

Creepy Sales Reps go to your door and coax you to come outside because you have "damage to your roof." They watched me walk my dog then go inside my house to then come stand on my property without my permission and target me for their roof repair services. I could not help but wonder, if they hadn't seen me enter my house - would they have ever said I needed roof repairs? They also said they were working on houses in the neighborhood (NC) - but could not point me to any houses in the neighborhood. This company is such a red flag. Avoid them at all costs. Also, jokes on Southern National Roofing - because of their CREEPY sales tactics, I am now going to give an actual good roofing company in my area some business just in case I do have roof repairs.Southern National Roofing - your sales people will destroy your company. You should rethink your strategy.

I knew my roof needed to be replaced. No water leaking but it was 27 yr old. Chris explained everything. Went in the attic and show pictures of where mold was growing because of water. He even told me about a few spots that I thought was getting wet even thought no water was coming through. He wasn’t aware of those spots before he went in the attic. The crew was very professional and completed the job in one day. Cleaned up and left my porch cleaner than it was before they arrived. I was comprehensive about the cost but getting a 50 yr warranty cannot be beat. I had some concerns that was addressed by with the crew. They explained them and Justin addressed them also. Chris did the inspection and assured me that roof was done correctly and is strong and safe.So the warranty will cover any issues anyway. On the whole I am happy with my new roof.

I guess I'll start with the door-to-door salesmen who are notorious for leaving these pamphlets in your mailbox listing all the reasons why your roof is an absolute disaster waiting to happen. I've ignored these for several years but this last time I just happened to be home when they were doing their rounds. They convinced me it wouldn't hurt to get a free quote, so I did. Little did I know I was committing to an hour's long timeshare level presentation. They call these door-to-door folks "roof inspectors" but nothing could be further from the truth. they are not certified to inspect any roof.The guy who comes over is an "Estimator" which is another way of saying super pushy and dishonest salespeople. My guy's name was Eric Neff and boy did he think he was clever. He must be used to dealing with some real idiots because this joker tried quoting me $23k for a single layer, standard pitched, 1100 sq/ft roof. OH, but his absolute gang buster let me write it down on a piece of paper and slide it over to you price was $17k because he was giving me "free" shingles. Yes, you heard right, Southern National is in the business of just giving away shingles lol. We actually argued for probably 10min about these free shingles, and he didn't let up one bit, these shingles ARE FREE hahaha.He tried several stupid tactics to arrive at this point. Came all prepared with all of these references about what the national average cost is to replace a roof. They will tell you that they won't be the cheapest or the most expensive, but somewhere in the middle. That sounds all fine and dandy but when you don't have an average sized roof, that doesn't make much sense does it? And they won't tell you the size of your roof until the very end.After over 2 hours he said he would look up the size of my roof on his computer, so we went to his truck and came back after 20min. That's when he gave me the quote (finally) but he seemed pretty put off when I told him I would have to think about it. Then made a big deal about how he has to call someone to release these free shingles he reserved for me lol. Like I never told you I wanted to reserve anything, nor did I suggest in any way that I would be making a purchase tonight. So, he proceeded to make this phone call, feet away from me, reiterating to someone (I don't know if he was even talking to anyone) all the reasons why my roof is an absolute disaster case, and essentially how stupid it is that I'm not paying $17k for a new roof. Then he asked me, what price would it need to be to seal a deal tonight, and I tried telling him once again, I have no intention of purchasing anything tonight. He rebuffed with what about $10k? I told him, how are you going to go from 23k, to 17k, to 10k? And he said I didn't say I could do it, just asking. Well, if you don't know, and to give you an idea of how absurd this price is, I looked at national average costs for shingled 1100 sq/ft roof for 2023, from multiple sources, and only one of them went as high as $10k, that was the absolute highest average cost I could find. He asked me how much time I would need to compare his quote with others, and I said 3 weeks. I haven't heard from him since, and I'm sure it's because he knew he messed up already.All I wanted was a fair, and honest, competitive quote. Instead, I got an absolute disgusting example of a human being who used all the info he had gathered from me, some of that info being that I was a first-time homeowner and never purchased a roof before, to come back with the highest price he thought he could have me for. If Eric Ness is any representation of Southern National, avoid these guys, there are too many other good options out there. I have no doubt they have a crew capable of doing a good job, but you will absolutely be getting ripped off too. Their slogan should be "Souther National, keeping alive the Southern tradition of ripping off people who don't know better". Absolute carpet bagger of a company.Eric told me to ignore the worst reviews so I'm giving this 2 stars. Be safe out there y'all!

You are always leery when someone knocks on your door and says that your roof needs replacing. But I knew that my roof was old and probably was ready to go anyway, so I talked to Eric Neff, the Southern National rep. I was impressed by his professionalism and the fact that he never tried to pressure me. In the end he offered a really good price for the job and I accepted. Justin, the work coordinator gave me the work schedule, and was always available to me when I had questions. The roofing crew showed up when they were supposed to and did the job quickly and neatly, cleaning up the whole area around my house. The inspector from Southern National, Jason, came the next day and thoroughly looked over the job, finding just a few follow up items.In sum, I would thoroughly recommend Southern National.Service: Roof installation

sales Rep came to door. Insisted i had a poor roof, in his opinion....when i had a drone inspection just 3 months earlier and no issues found. Roof is 8 years old, but the sales rep insisted i had numerous issues and even proceeded to disagree with me after i told him at least 3 times, there were no issues.....Very annoying person and was wasting my time. Will never use them or gain a quote from them in future. Pressure sale tatics do not work with me.

According to the disastrous “visual inspection report” that they left on the door after we didn’t answer, I’m surprised we have a roof at all! Would never even remotely consider doing business with this company.

One of the best repair/ service I’ve ever experienced. Eric provided detailed information on the different types of roofing, fully explained the roofing process and provided accurate pricing. Justin, who worked with the crew, was always available by phone while the crew was here We never had to wait for an answer to a question, he addressed any concerns immediately and was always polite and informative. I had an extremely positive experience with Southern National. Tony was very knowledgeable and laid out all of our options on a roof replacement. Not only was the work quality on point from the workers doing the installation and the tiles, the customer service we received was top-notch. Tony worked with us to explain the process ahead of time (roof installation isn’t something I know much about) and the information he gave us made me feel confident with the choice we ended up deciding on. The work was completed in a timely manner, much quicker than I had anticipated. I had some concerns about my roof and had researched information and prices previously, so when Southern National stopped by, I went out to talk to them. The concerns they noted were the same ones I had noticed, so I agreed to schedule an inspection consultation. Eric N came out and educated me on many areas of concern. We agreed with him that replacement was needed. He sat down with us and went over many options and the estimate was good for a year. In the end, we decided to go with Southern National because of the quality of their products, services, and people.All roof work was done right and the team finished in a day. I was shocked considering there was more damage than anticipated that needed to be fixed. The gutters were put on the next day and we have already noticed a difference when it rains.The project manager, Justin S, was outstanding! He made sure things were done right. My roof had to be replaced because the previous roofers installed it improperly. Eric came to our house and did an inspection and made some alarming discoveries. Eric did an awesome job explaining the issues we had and our options. No pressure, just a down to earth person taking time to explain things in a manner that was easy for myself and my wife to understand. During the process we had the opportunity to talk with Jason and Justin and they did an outstanding job answering all of our questions. We asked Justin to send someone over to get a few nails out of our gutters and he sent Louise. He was so kind, not only did he walk all the gutters and ensure they were clean he used the magnet and went back over our yard again to ensure we did not have any nails in our yard.Overall we are very pleased with the results of reroof. The salesman, Eric, met with us for a couple of hours to go over reroofing options and estimates. He was very thorough, providing product information, cost comparisons for the area, and different levels of warranty. Justin lined up the roof installation surprisingly fast -- just one week after our meeting with Eric. They got the job done in a day (~2100 sq ft roof) and we are very pleased with the result. The crew did a great job with the cleanup which was a big concern of ours because of our child and dog.
