There was a knock at my front door a couple of months ago. I looked at my Ring doorbell camera and didn’t recognize the person standing on my porch. I don’t normally answer the door in situations like that but, for some reason, I did this time. There was a guy there who told me that there appeared to be storm damage on my roof and asked if I would like to have a free roof inspection. Unfortunately for the honest roofers, there have been numerous instances of scam artists doing the door-to-door thing. My inclination was to tell him I had no interest and thank you for stopping by. For reasons still unknown to me, I told him yes I was interested. That afternoon Evan came and did the inspection. He said there was a minimal amount of hail damage and that we could file a claim with my insurance company but he, of course, could not speculate on what the company would say. The company sent its adjuster here to do an inspection and he recommended the roof be replaced. Two days later I had a direct deposit into my bank account and the replacement was scheduled for two weeks later. Evan was involved in each step of the process and was the consummate professional. His care and concern for the customer and for his company was evident throughout the process. The roof was installed when scheduled and when the crew left there was not a trace that they had been there. The entire process was flawless and this was due, in large part, to Evan’s involvement. Nothing was promised that was not done. I highly recommend Southern Premier Roofing to anyone in need of a roof replacement.

We used Southern Premier Roofing to work with our insurance company for a roof replacement. We worked with Evan and everything went extremely smooth and the roof looks well installed. We also had 5 skylights replaced. We have a fairly large house with 4 car garage as well as front and back porches so there is a lot of roof. My insurance company was aprised of the damage and approved the replacement of my roof. SPR came out and inspected my roof after I had a leak and determined that it was due to hail damage. They engaged our homeowners insurance company to assume responsibility for the claim. After weeks of working with the insurance company and perseverance by SPR, they were able to get a full replacement approved through insurance. The process was simple and they handled nearly everything. My new roof looks great and I was only out of pocket my deductible. Highly recommend SPR.

The quote, insurance approval and installation process were great. Unfortunately we had one issue with siding that needed to be fixed and it has taken months to get it resolved. Crews were sent unannounced without instructions multiple times and it has taken more than 10 follow-up appointments to get everything finished.

Like other reviewers I too had different roofing companies come knocking on the door asking to do inspections. While they were talking it felt more as a Sales pitch rather than actually trying to Help me and my family in protecting our home with a new roof install.When I was ready I called the same Sales Rep (Evan Thomas) that my parents used a Year back.As soon as talking with Evan he was very knowledgeable and didn't try to "sell" me a roof but rather tell me what was going on after he inspected our roof. Evan made the process very easy and explained everything to us up front. The next day our Insurance adjuster came out and agree'd with Evans estimate.Our Roof was just installed a couple days ago and we're very happy with the outcome. It actually didn't take as long as we thought it would. The Roof crew was very vigilant about laying down tarp and moving some of our items out of the way to protect from the old Shingles etc. They were also very good about cleaning up the mess. Be aware, that they aren't perfect and may miss some nails or debris, so as the homeowner do your do diligence is making sure that your yard or drive way is free and clear. Evan is also doing another walk through to make sure there isn't any nails or debris.Overall we are very pleased with SPR and would recommend them to any home owner that needs a new roof. Southern Premier Roofing did a fantastic job installing a new roof on my home this week. I did my own research and came up with a list of companies I wanted to contact and Southern Premier was on my list. Coincidentally, the very next day Josh Howland was at my door. From start to finish, Josh helped me with this process. Very professional, not intimidating at all. The crew that showed up to perform the roof installation were there bright and early...and they worked! All were very efficient at their job. One crew member even helped me chase after my little dog that escaped from the house... thank you very much to him! The on-site manager was very helpful and professional, everything looked great when the job was done.My experience with Southern Premier was very positive. I've had several other roofing companies ring my doorbell, but all I heard was a sales pitch. Josh Howland was different than those others, he listened to my concerns and walked me through everything. It all starts with the front man. Josh was very professional, but down to earth, easy to speak with and explained everything during this daunting process. Roof and gutter replacement after hail damage. At this point I’m still in the contract stage, so far no physical work has been started. However, I just want to say these guys have been awesome in the planning and financial steps to date. They worked directly with my insurance company, have always been on time for phone calls, appointments and follow ups and are just a real pleasure to work with. Work starts soon, I’ll come back and update once the work has been completed.Update! Work was completed during week of July 4. Total roof replacement and total gutter/downspout system replacement on 2600 sq ft, 2 story home. Excellent job! Work was completed quickly, a miscommunication about removing the old satellite dish from the roof was remedied within a couple days and it all came in as promised, financially, quality and completeness as agreed from day one. After 2 months all is working great and looks fantastic! Special shout out to Morgan who handled all of my questions and was always available with answers the same day I reached out to him. Great work Southern Premier Roofing, you are a model of service in times when that is difficult to find. While the installation of my new roof has not taken place yet, I am so impressed with Evan, the representative who came out and walked me though everything, I wanted to go ahead and write a review for him. If the roof Southern Premier installs is as quality as Evan’s service I will write another review to praise the company at large. Evan went above and beyond helping me understand all the details, as well as even getting on my roof and nailing down some trim that was coming up … something that was not a requirement of his job as a sales rep. All of that to say, he deserves every bit of the 5 star rating above and I look forward to the new roof he will ensure is installed in the next few weeks. Thanks.
