These are great people to deal with! They have helped me with a couple of projects now. Yesterday they went above and beyond. Not realizing they closed at 4:30, I sent my son to pick something up 10 to 15 minutes after they closed, and they still took care of us. I would never expect them to do that, but greatly appreciated it! I will give them as much business as I can in the future - before 4:30.

Update 6/14/21The owners at cozart lumber Phil an Thad discriminated against a Vietnam veteran , there policy is a $500 order gets u a free delivery an after spending thousands an thousands of dollars there phil said to me we deliver to our customers, meaning I was not a customer. An he refused to deliver that order to me. This is a place I would avoid at all costs, better off doing business in statesville at a real lumber yard.One of the owners there Phillip Discriminated against a Vietnam veteran,when there policy is $500 for delivery after we had bought thousands of dollars of lumber over 4 years there . and found lumber cheaper an better quality for what we build an stop buying weekly from them at cozarts.An buying elsewhere we needed about $600 dollars worth of lumber an called to order an have it delivered Phillip told me that he was not going to deliver for us, even though their policy says free delivery on orders over $500, an made the comment that is for our customers meaning I was not a customer but have a acct there an have spent thousands at that place. He also stated if I didn't like it I could buy all my lumber elsewhere, that is a business you need to avoid. Treating a Veteran like that .

I have , pictures and video of this lumbar company that took a metal forklift to put wood on the top of my guardrails. Well in doing so the metal forklift scraped the top of my car and the side of the guardrail. In the video you can hear my husband saying you almost got it. Then scape. The one who put the wood on the car says in the video that he did scrape the top. The owners son comes out with 3 other men and of course I am not happy. After smart remarks from the staff. The man who put the wood up was sent inside, for reasons I do not know. I was trying to talk to the owner and tell him what happened and he said we’re not liable, “ mane should have brought a trick instead of a 30,000.00 Hummer here. That was uncalled because it’s the only car I own. A cop was called by my husband and it’s a small town. Everybody knows everybody. However, I am not from N.C. So after the owner was rude, he started to walk away from me, now this is a huge lumberyard and I was the only car there for about almost 2 hours. After the owner walked away from me, I asked him “sir please stop and talk to me, I said sir why are u walking away from me. He turned and said I don’t want to talk to you. I said damage has been done to my Hummer and yes, you will talk to me, like an adult man to an adult woman. Everyone was in there little office when I heard him call , what might have been his secretary names Jennifer. At this point I am very upset. My husband and I waited for the officer who which was Officer Canup. We told him what happened and everyone came out except the man that actually did the damage. We told the cop after the way they acted toward us ,instead of finding a solution. We just wanted our money back, they wood not come remove the wood from the top of the car and trying to leave me to do it.they all stood maybe a hundred feet away watching I could only get one down because I dropped it from having a severe spinal injury The cop said they would come take pictures and I was ok with that,as long as we could get a picture of the metal guard rails underneath there forklift which they were trying desperately to hide ,another employee was recording me 100 feet so I waved and got my phone and started recording him. The officer was fine with him recording me but I was told to get into my car and stop recording. Finally after I told the officer if there aloud to take pictures of my car then we should be aloud to take a picture as well, I also said Officer Cunup you took an Oath as a police officer and that is evidence, after I said that ,my husband asked them to lift the fork lift . The owners son said why do you want us to do that my husband said well , if you did in fact scrape the paint , her paint would be on the bottom of the fork lift. After the fork lift was lifted , in video you can see my husband yelling and saying there is paint on the bottom , come look. All the employees saw it including the officer and you can hear the owner saying lift it down. I stood right under the forklift so they couldn’t lower it and said to my husband get the picture, take it, yelling insured most likely more me about getting evidence since they wanted to hide it so bad and I wasn’t lieing, why would I? I told the officer all in life was that I just wanted a fair shake. What’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong. One of the men tried to even knock the paint chips off his hands. The officer yanked me, whistle mind you if you hurt a disabled person that’s a felony ( look it up) I cried all night from the pain I suffer from constantly and to have to tell grown men who do this for a living dealing with wood all I did was slide one, realized they would not help and dropped it and the owner had the audacity to say to me that could be destruction of property. It did nothing to the price of wood but he doesn’t consider my car being done the way it was destruction of property. Did I yell after I found out about the paint, yes I did and I called him a liar. We even bought nails and gave them back, we are not theives or liars. We were threatened about Jail
