I live in Florida, and wanted to build a custom vacation/retirement house in Hendersonville NC. After purchasing the lot, we did some research and interviewed 3 builders. With Solstice we had the chance to visit 3 houses in different stages: One was 6 yrs old, one was in the very last part, and one renovation. We could speak with the owners also. We choose Solstice and we are very happy about the decision. We started in the beginning of 2022, and had to deal with all the issues related with covid and shortage of materials. John and Aaron did their best to manage different complicated situations and delivered an outstanding product.Because I'm 800 miles away and could visit the site every 3 months, good communications and trust are a must. They where always available and straightforward.As in any custom build process, you can expect to spend more time and money than initially projected, but it really helps to have a team that's honest, is looking to solve the issues in a proactive manner, and delivers what the client is looking for.Now I have my dream house. Looking forward to spend more time there!

Solstice Construction helped us with a large exterior renovation of our 1890s farmhouse and detached garage. Much of the wood had rotted so there was extensive siding and porch repair, as well as repainting it, a new roof, and staining our balconies and decks. We are overjoyed and so impressed with the results! Aaron was very patient with us as we changed our minds throughout the process to achieve the desired look to stay true to the home’s historic details. He was always prompt with communication and honest about any time line delays due to COVID or supply chain issues. All of his subs do quality work and we are confident our home will be in great shape for years to come. I highly recommend Aaron and solstice construction for any renovation or building project!

Solstice built our house during the height of the challenges of the pandemic. Yet the construction of our home has exceeded our expectations. The tradesmen were excellent. From the very beginning of our project Aaron collaborated with the architect to provide expert advice. He used quality subs and managed them well. Worked continuously to give us quality materials and workmanship, saving us money as well. Followed up on everything promised. His contribution of ideas helped us to end up with more than what we had hoped for in our mountain home. He makes great music, too.
