We had Energy Savers and Don come out to do a free energy audit as part of the City of Raleigh's campaign to help homeowners reduce energy costs. Don quickly and efficiently visited our 20 year old home (ah the 1990s), and went top to bottom over our house's needs, easy fixes, and really urgent matters to attend to.Don is knowledgeable without being a "salesperson" and has a knack for straight honesty, which is hard to find in anyone in any field. We even had another party come out and review our crawlspace issues, which is priority number one, and Don was ameniable to review their assessment and talk brass tacks. We knew his team was legitimately the better company when we went over all our details with our construction management sibling, who said you could not find a smarter person than Energy Savers to do such refined and difficult work.We look forward to having a long relationship with Don and his team, and updating this review when we can get them in for work!

Extremely pleased!Don Stanley of Energy Savers of NC spent a solid 90 minutes going over the inside, outside, top, and bottom of our home. Over the course of the audit, we generated a list of about 30 items which are probably affecting our energy costs. Many of these are small fixes that we as homeowners can address ourselves -- Don pointed these out without ever appearing "salesy".Of the items which would have to be professionally addressed, Don gave a fair assessment of rough cost and importance (i.e. how much energy this is costing us) so that we could make an informed decision about what changes to make. He even contacted a specialist on his own time to investigate something for us; a potentially large issue with our old furnace.Since we are likely to live here for 20 years, we will probably hire Energy Savers to address a couple of these major items -- and hopefully these fixes will pay for themselves in energy savings and increased comfort.Punctual and great communication (called when on the way for our appointment).Would definitely recommend Energy Savers to anyone wanting to take a smart look at energy savings in their home.

Contacted Energy Savers to do a RESCheck and energy efficiency check on an unpermitted space in my home. They responded to my contact form request within minutes, and were able to schedule me within 2 days. Don came out, was extremely professional and knowledgeable; not only telling me what the problems were, but the best and most cost-effective ways to remedy them. He produced a report for me quickly (since I was under a time crunch) and got me on my way to passing our inspection. Highly recommend the team at Energy Savers for this kind of work.

We hired Energy Savers of North Carolina to seal and insulate the crawl space under our home, which was built in 1995. Luke Michaels came out to inspect the house and provided a customized Energy Analysis Report detailing ways to improve our energy efficiency. Luke sat down with us to explain the report in detail, provided a la carte pricing for each recommendation, and even included pictures and detailed descriptions of what needed done for do-it-yourselfers like me.We knew that we had moisture problems in the crawl space, and the floor insulation was delaminating and needed to be replaced. Luke reviewed the options with us and we ultimately decided to hire Energy Savers to seal, insulate, and dehumidify the crawl space. We couldn't be happier with the result. Our crawl space is now a constant 70 degrees and 60% humidity, and we have noticed a significant improvement in the comfort and air quality in our home.Luke was on-site every day and did much of the detail work himself. He went the extra mile to help me identify some drainage issues around the house that were contributing to the moisture problems, and suggested ways I could remedy those myself. He and the rest of the staff were prompt, courteous, and clean. Overall it was one of the best experiences we've had with a service provider, and I would recommend Energy Savers of North Carolina for any energy efficiency needs.

Great energy audit from Don has turned  me into an insulating and air sealing monster.  It is noticeably more comfortable already. Power bills much lower already.Highly recommended for finding and resolving existing issues with your home.Thanks guys! -Richard
