We are very fortunate in a small ND town to have Walmart here. Usually good customer service, clean restrooms, decent variety of merchandise and they do contribute to the community.

I worked here in the past and have my share of things to say but will leave that out as the reason for my review today. 3 nights ago we went and they had no cashiers, we had to wait in line for more than 20 min because only 1 self checkout was running, the cashier they had running them clearly was not a cashier. When they called the team lead he also didn't know what to do, so he proceeded to make a phone call. Instead of opening up a register which would have been much easier we had to wait for that one self checkout since the other 3 remained down. Today I went with my daughter to get a shelf, we asked for assistance more than once and no one ever came. The service in other words leaves you with a bad taste. 👎

Older store. Lots of empty spots on shelves. Pretty clean though. Some meat products questionable. Might want to get that somewhere else.

The store is clean and shopable. It’s not usually crowded with people and the prices are average for the area. Overall I recommend coming to this Walmart over the one in Minot just because it is much less busy and they have a better clearance section.

Workers In automotive section were patient. Very helpful and did their best to get some new tires put on my car but lost my key to get the locks off my rims and they couldnt get them off , so at the end I had to drive home on a tire that was ready to blow. Thing is to they did not charge me a dime a d they spent a couple hrs working on trying to get my old tires off. Very decent people there.

Terrible one of the worst displays of pure gross mistreatment of certain individuals, not myself. I think someone might have a lawsuit on their hands. Unless those jealous freaks that work there can manage to keep their rude and childish behaviors to themselves. Good day.

0 stars!! Deli counter press the button till the cows come home get fed and try later. Finish shopping come back button is gone! both times you can hear people talking in the back proceed to checkout and guess what!!! Massive line only self check outs open mean while lady is standing up front picking at her finger nails and other employees wandering around like drones. I have better stuff to do than check myself out while some gets paid to at her nails

Was in this store once about a week ago and there was an employee there by the name of Taylor and she was quite rude and unhelpful. She seemed more interested in talking with her co worker instead of helping customers

Fast in and out when it comes to sending money or getting a refund from the dark haired girl at customer service. She's always friendly and has a smile on her face her name is either Wanda or Wendy I can't remember lol, and the cashier's are pretty friendly and fast as well. Would recommend family and friends.

Only have 2 auto carts for disabled people. My mom is disabled & we were there for 4 hours waiting for a cart to be charged. After charging, it still died. It was slightly busy. But when asked, the staff was helpful....as helpful as they could be with what they had. I would recommend going to Minot rather than Botteneau, even though Minot is way busier & the parking lot has a history of car break ins. To me & some I've talked to, it's worth the small risk than to deal with this one. Plus there are other great stores in the area of the Minot store than here, where it's basically Walmart then home. 😞

This particular Walmart is way below standards. There is never anyone at service desk. Can page someone 2-3 times before you get a person. Near a reservation so when they get paid and shop Walmart shelves are bear. Should say more than usual. Most of the time have to use self checkout as well because no lanes or one open. Don't recommend this Walmart in Bottineau ND

The staff avoid helping and try to make themselves scarce when you need help finding something. Most often then not the item I am looking for isn't kept well stocked. The place has an I don't care atmosphere as they know you will drop 1 to 2 hundred anyways. It's basically a means to an end when I go here. I don't expect much from them so I am less disappointed when I leave. I swear a bunch of their employees must come from the same area the dmv gets theirs. Unhelpful and grumpy. This is just my experiences maybe its not all like that but my ratings will be low until I get a good experince.

Only 1 cashier working to serve you if you had more than 10 items, people with carts full waiting and waiting trying to get checked out. Awful service. The 1 cashier working was not a regular cashier and apologized over and over.

Best walmart checker EVER works in Botineau. She was fast yet very friendly. She deserves a raise. I've never loved a Walmart til I moved to this area.

It was not good tonight. We were around the electronic section waiting for somebody to come around. I finally went to a cashier and asked if he could page someone to come to the electronic section, he said he would. Well we waited and waited, nobody came to see us. So, I called the Bottineau Walmart on the phone and told them we had waited for somebody, even went to the cashier to see if he would page somebody, but he didn't. Finally after calling them on the phone while we were in the electronic section, the lady did come over and ask if we were the ones that called and I said yes. Well at that time then the young man showed up at the same time.

They had Snuggles (an interactive dog that's a toy for children) that is sold out everywhere (online even)! Excellent variety. They switch up their displays to keep up interest. Clean. Friendly.

I liked that employees were wearing their PPE! Majority of customers were not. Some disinfecting products were out and toilet paper supply was low.

Went to Walmart in Bottineau this morning, actually at noon when they opened, I ran in for sidewalk chalk for my daughter while she stayed in the car with my son, went through the self check out and payed with a twenty, the machine gave me 2 fives for change, and owed me 4 ones, for a Walmart just opening why would the red light come on and ask for assistance, I flipped off the machine and walked out, cause last time this happend it took ten minutes to get back two dollars, and my kids are so much more important than waiting ten minutes for change when the machine should of been filled with cash Pryor to opening. Just laziness on management part, walmart needs to get better organized, just my opinion

Not good today! They have no bags for your groceries! They said they won't have any until Thurs or Fri when the truck comes in. Not sure if it's poor management or what...they should let you know when you come in. No one at the door today.

Shelves are empty from the 1st of the month food stamp shoppers. You know people are going to be there, plan ahead and keep the shelves stocked. Also, few checkers at the registers...as usual!
