I had them come to level my sidewalk. It had dipped more than 4 inches and was a tripping hazard. Their professional installers were extremely fast and did a fantastic job making my sidewalk safe again leaving my yard looking better than when they found it. Would recommend five out of five stars.

I had American Waterworks come out to my house for a consultation about my crawlspace, I had some concern about my floors having a bounce and water in the space over prior years.James Nelson was the design specialist they sent to my home, he went through all of my concerns along with his own investigation and input about how we could move forward with fixing it. The range of products and services American Waterworks offers is outstanding and we were able to select what best would address the situation.A couple short weeks later the crew arrived and was able to begin work on the house. Kingsley, the foreman was a great crewman, along with Nagna, Emme and Aaron. Kingsley made sure to explain each step they were working on as they got through the project. They got everything completed with efficiency and the end results look fantastic. The crews were on time as scheduled each morning. All questions and concerns were answered along the way, and the crew made sure to leave my home without any mess or worry. I'd definitely suggest working with this company in the future.

I recently had them do a water guard tiling system along with the radon mitigation system. The work crew showed up about an hour and a half past the time they said they were going to arrive. I think their promise on getting things done in a day was a little optimistic. They seem to rush through things and didn’t do a lot of cleanup because they were in a hurry to get out to the next job. Overall, they did a good job, but I just felt like there wasn’t enough time or care taken for mitigating dust and tracking through the house.

I paid $21,000 for a job that they did not do, a job prompted by our number one concern, a sinking dining room floor. It was my first concern, the first issue I raised with them, the number one thing we wanted done. They sold me a helical pier job with the contention that it would fix my sunken floor. I SPECIFICALLY asked about it and I was assured it would be handled.Near the end of the job, I asked why the floor hadn't come up as much as I would have liked and there were no good answers. After much note-taking and photographs and questions and repeated visits, I was just informed this job is done. They will not be doing anything else to support the floor in my dining room (unless I'm willing to cough up more money) and they also aren't willing to do any of the grading in my yard to make sure the ground slopes away from the new egress window they installed.I have 15 pages of notes and photographs detailing every aspect of what a disaster this has been. Worked through a torrential rainstorm, tried to get away without completing the job, didn't clean up, encountered issues with the egress window cover and didn't even bother to bring them up, and most of all, THEY THINK THEY'RE DONE when the primary reason I called them (the floor) is still a problem.I will NEVER recommend American Waterworks to another person, and I will go out of my way to share my experience with anybody who wants a recommendation. STAY FAR AWAY from American Waterworks.I'm considering legal action. They should be ashamed of themselves. Straight up profiteering and greed.Service: Structural construction assistance

We needed a foundation repair as two of our basement walls were being pushed in by water at the same corner and leaking in another. We had two companies come to bid, Innovative Basement and American Waterworks. Innovative came out first. After meeting with representatives of both companies we realized that the assessment done by Innovative was completely wrong. I normally wouldn’t talk against another company in a review, but if we had gone with Innovative based on that particular representative’s assessment, we would have spent $45,000 with our problems unresolved, and our home, our retirement asset, in jeopardy. This is NOT okay.Ian from Waterworks did a much more thoughtful and thorough job, patiently making measurements on both levels of our home, listening to our thoughts, and walking us through how he arrived at his conclusions.Kingsley and our crew of young men working on the foundation fix were extremely considerate, honest, earnest, very willing to help with anything, responsive, and respectful, and professional. When snags were hit they informed me and corrected the issues or got the answers they needed before proceeding further. They worked hard and we appreciate their willingness always to make sure they did everything right, giving us confidence in the crew, the worksite manager, and regional manager.I do think extra training in concrete work may be helpful to the crews regarding the floor drains, but we are happy all in all with the job done.It would also be helpful for the owner to have a list of items that were going to be done in the order in which they could expect them to be done to help ensure they understand that everyone’s on the same page.We also had two egresses installed, Juan and his crew were amazing!The guys that worked on the front porch and walkway filling in cracks and sealing/lifting areas with foam were also great and it only took a couple hours.The work was all done late August into September 2023.We would use this company again and recommend them to others.Services: Foundation repair, Concrete leveling, Water & moisture control services, Foundation drainage, Basement waterproofing, Driveway repairs

American Waterworks stabilized the crumbling foundation under part of our house and repaired and lined the crawlspace under that same section.Domenic, the foreman, was by far the best person we have worked with in 30 years of owning an old house that has needed a lot of repairs. He was great at making sure we knew exactly what was going on, what problems he was concerned about, and how they planned to fix things. He was conscientious in his work, and noticed our initial bill included something we hadn't wanted, so he corrected that. I can’t speak to good value. This isn’t something we could price shop.All of the workers were very Respectful. Though most of them did not speak English as their primary language, they would always answer questions in English. They were obviously hard workers. The job got done in the less time than planned. The supervisors were especially helpful in explaining what they were doing and how this whole process worked. The primary issue for us was the noise which could not be avoided. We were fortunate, in that we had a place to go in the house to get away from the noise. Ian Schultz, the American waterworks representative did a great job in assessing our issues and making a plan that was clear and understandable . We used American Waterworks to stabilize/lift our house due to settling/sinking footings. We had 4 estimates done with different companies before deciding on American Waterworks. From start to finish we were impressed with this company. Richie was thorough and concise when informing us of what would need to be done, and explained the estimate to us in person. When the crew arrived, they were courteous and conscientious and very hardworking. The Forman Ryan kept us informed through every step of the project! We had 23 piers driven in around our house to lift/stabilize. During the lift they explained what to expect and took their time to be sure we were satisfied with the outcome. When it came to the last day of the project, they had all hands on deck and left our property looking way better than we had ever expected after this huge project! We bought a house that really didn’t have flooding issues in the basement disclosed by the seller. Waterworks was able to fix the basement. The team that came out were hard working, polite and professional. My only issues were that the install guys didn’t really seem to know the ins and outs of their commercial dehumidifier. It was leaking before they left. I asked them to fix it. They tightened something and then referred me to the number of the service center WHILE on location. By the next day my floor was flooded all over the new concrete that was supposed to be setting. The lady answering the phone in the office seemed irritated by having to take my call and was very very rude. I kept on being sent to voicemail. Finally I was able to speak to an actual person when I just asked for a refund on my brand new broken leaky dehumidifier. I’d say the bright spot in all of this was the service guy that came out. He was fantastic! He was very polite and knowledgeable about everything. Despite everything, I would still recommend American waterworks because they fixed an issue that was long standing for my basement and they seem like they are aware of the issues with the dehumidifier and will train their install crew on how to properly elevate and shorten the tubing.

Very helpful. Ian the rep spent solid time assessing our situation and going over the findings from his assessment. Unfortunately the work we need done is not something American Waterworks can help with, however they were willing to see if they knew anyone that might be able to help. They send out great information prior to the assessment about the company and what they do. Ian was knowledgeable, respectful and professional. I wish we could have had a reason to work with them, but our current needs are different than their options.

We had American Waterworks encapsulate and insulate our crawl space. Cameron and team were professional, personable, polite and came out and got the job done in below zero temps and blizzard conditions! They addressed the one concern we had while doing the job and advised a service tech could come back to install our vent covers come spring. Overall we found American Waterworks to be a great value compared to other places in the area offering the same services and they did a great job.

We used American Water Works to install internal drain tile, remove existing rusted out steel support beams and replace with new steel supports. We worked with Cameron and his crew. They communicated well, they were on time and got the job done in the timeline discussed. They were able to accommodate our needs by making some late changes to the plan, adding a new sump pup and some extra supports recommended by them. It was a good experience and we feel better about having a safe and waterproofed basement. One thing I wish I would have known prior was just how dusty the job would be even with the furnace completely off. I would recommend covering all ducts prior to having this job performed. I had my sagging living room floor propped up with a support beam. I also had a sump pump installed with a drainage trench all around the basement floor. I left a bad review because I had an egress window installed and felt it was left totally to the point that I couldn't finish it. I was told they weren't responsible for finish work which is true, but the way it was left was unprofessional and I would've had to hire a contractor to finish it . I complained and I want to express theprofessionalism in the way they handled my complaint. They came and assessed the situation and after further review decided it needed some work to get it to the point where I could then finish it by framing it in. They happily came and made good on it and I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for helping me get to the point that I can now finish my basement. I give 5 stars....

What a waste of money and time this project was! They don’t stand by their word, and they don’t care if they actually fix the problem they say they’re going to fix. Get everything in writing from them and document everything. Don’t take someone’s word for anything. Better yet, don’t call these guys. We had an issue with our addition floor creaking and sinking. After piers were installed the same problems persisted. Problem not solved and they are willing to do anything to make it right. They also said they’d send us a $100 check for cleaning our floor - haven’t seen that either.Service: Structural construction assistance

My father paid $21,000 for helical piers and an egress window to be replaced in his home. The helical piers did not raise the foundation enough (the floor is still sunken,) the egress window does not have proper clearance to be an emergency exit, they tore out his ceiling to install the egress window (which they will not replace,) they did not properly grade the ground so it slopes toward his new egress window (which they will not fix,)etc. I will make sure I am not recommending American Waterworks to ANYONE. Fix your hack job, and maybe I'll change my review. Or at least get him his money back so he can pay some professionals.
