These guys did an AMAZING job on my basement. I seriously had the best crew. Brandon Cottey, Ethan, and Elijah were so much fun to work with and incredibly nice guys. I would have them do work for me over and over again. My basement looks so good and they got it done quickly! I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Innovative out of Fargo! Included a before and after pic of one of the walls. This was right before they laid the drain tile. I am so happy with how it turned out.

Jacob L was thorough, explained everything and answered questions until we understood his assessment, options, and recommendations. He showed us pictures to help us visualize the bracing system and new sump pump and how each works. He read through the contract item by item, making sure he covered all bases with us. We are very impressed with the service offered by Innovative Basement. They are very professional and respectful, and went the extra mile to find solutions to our somewhat unusual basement issues in our old house.The most recent crew we had was Chad, Cedric and Damacio, and they did a great job. Derick and his crew did an outstanding job on my basement remodel. Professional, knowledgeable, respectful and very through. They installed 2 egress windows, vapor barrier, triple sump pump system, gutted and removed my entire basement floor 5 gallon buckets at a time and replaced it with rock 4 inches deep before the concrete was poured. They worked their tails off, barely took breaks and stayed till 7 almost every night. They always took time to answer my questions and I felt that they took care of my basement like their own. Job well done! Thanks guys! :-)

Been two years and three contractors trying to fix my basement so I can actually use it without water and mold. Innovative Basement Authority did it in four days! Jacob D., Cedric E., and Mike B., are the best crew I’ve ever met. Professional and understanding that this is our home. They kept me informed at every step and explained things in a way I could I understand without talking down to me. I have never been treated so well by a contractor. Plus the job was done exactly as they promised well within the estimated time frame. They came Mon night 5pm introduced themselves-unloaded supplies/wrapped & covered our items for next day jobs… got settled so quick they did about 45% of the sledge hammering around basement outer walls. DONE! They came 7:45-8:00 am worked til 6pm! Cleaned each & every time they left. So clean & nice. Today came 8am and completely DONE at 11:00! I had chosen to go with Innovative Basement as they have been purported to be the top of the line in this industry. If you expect competency out of a company you are paying five figures to for a project that takes less than a week to install, I strongly encourage you to look else where. Foreman Aaron P. And his crew Zach S., Isaac and Hunter did an awesome Job. They were upfront and honest about the concerns they had regarding our foundation from a precious excavation, they gave us options moving forward, walked us through every part of the process, all the while being mindful that I worked nights and slept during the day! They worked through the evening and had another crew in the area show up unexpectedly to lend a hand to finish the project. This company placed piers under my home to stabilize the home from sinking, Several serious issues with this company and these installers: 1. When I came home from work at noon to check on the progress of the install, the installers had piled up dirt against my neighbor's house - no contact with my neighbor or myself prior to piling dirt up against the house. I spent 4 hours washing off my neighbors house and property after the install. (Photo 1) 2. The 2 window wells installed by the company were inconsistently installed - one installed with small rocks to the bottom of the window, the other with rocks to the ledge in the window well - very inconsistent installation. Plus the windows wells are flimsy and the backfill is not proper. When you tap on the ledge it sounds hollow. (Photos 2-3) 3. The sales people measured the levelness of the house from the inside while the installers only measured the levelness of the home from the outside after the piers were installed. It would seem to me the measurements should be done from the same location both before and after or these is no way to determine house levelness or how much the piers lifted the house. 4. Following the installation, I had to ask the company to relevel the ground as they left a large pile of dirt at the corner of the home. I did talk to one of the two sale people on July 15th - he said he would provide a call back and compensation and as of August 7th I have heard nothing from this company. I hate complaining about poor service but to me this company does not provide professional service.

His prompt communication was great, and he took care of my client as she was getting ready to list her home. He didn't try to push her on doing extras to the home either which was nice. Kaz was the lead contractor for my large basement project. The project took several days longer than anticipated, and Kaz was very nice about the situation. He got a crew to come help on a weekend, and then two crews to double up on the work the following week to make up the time. He was very good with communications, educating me, and showing me where things were at in the project. He told me when we had problems and they worked well with the other contractors who were necessary to remedy the problems. As far as I can tell, the work is high quality. It also looks nice. I appreciate their attention to detail as well. On the last day, one of the workers noticed a new beam didn't look tightened properly and immediately fixed it. Then, he walked around the basement and tightened all the new beams just to be certain.Having to fix your basement, foundation, or stability of your home is stressful and very expensive. I appreciated the team, including Joe (sales), trying to make it less stressful for me. I felt that everyone came together and helped me through a major event. Thank you.
