This is the worst Family Dollar store I have ever been to! Employees are not helpful and they couldn't answer my questions. I had a cart full of stuff that was 50% off and on the sign it said the discount would be taken off at the register. So Friday night I bought some stuff and the girl rang my stuff up. I went back the next day to get some more stuff. Same girl was working that rang my stuff up the night before. She started ringing my stuff up. I asked her if she was going to make the stuff down to half off and she asked the other girl she worked with if she marked it half off. The other lady told her no it’s the price that it’s rings up as. Then I told that girl. Remember you worked here last night and it was half off and the manager told you yesterday to ring it up as half off. She didn’t listen to a damn word I said. Maybe she’s an idiot and can’t think for herself. She wouldn’t ring my stuff up as half off. So I said I didn’t want it because the whole point is to why I went there was for the sale and I had a whole cart full. I so sooooo embarrassed. So I paid for my stuff and walked out. Started loading my stuff up in my vehicle and the two girls where laughing at me for getting upset because they couldn’t figure out the sale price! Like WOW! I can hear you! The next day I called the manager to ask about the sale prices and she basically didn’t listen to me. She Was talking to other people while I was on the phone with her. Same thing with the young girls that rang my stuff up. This place is a joke! Dirty as hell and has a bad smell to it! I will take the long drive to Mobridge or Bismarck if I need anything. It’s just not worth the hassle and disappointment.

You have a great staff. The men are more friendly than the women workers. The only thing I can complain about is the prices are going up badly. Wal-Mart is a lot cheaper than most supplies you have in the store

Iam a diabetic and i worked there for 4 months , i loved it at first then one day i asked for a break and no one gave me a break , so i bottom out. I counted out my till asked if anyone was going to count in,i clocked out by time i got home i was bottom out and i only live 5 mins alway i could not handle that agian so i called the store and resigned with my supervisor , he said ok never asked me why. Long story short now i cant never work at a family dollar agian as long as i live. Because i did not resign right . I never got breaks, alot of time i would have to run to the restroom and back up to the till hopeing no one was waiting. But i guess i didnt resign the right way . Huh take my word for it if you are a diabetic dont work there, because u dont get no breaks rt

Get your wifi updated or fixed. Have to wait forever to get transactions to go through. So I will not be shopping there no more. Just a waste of time
