Predatory sales tactics to build trust with customer, wildly outlandish bids (33k for two fiberglass tubs replaced with acrylic shower), don't fall prey to the sunken cost fallacy after they are at your place for 3 hours for an estimate that should take less than 30 minutes. Will not give you pricing until the very end of the sales pitch. After I declined they said they would drop the price if I was willing to write them a satisfied review that night - I consider this unethical and in effect, "buying" good reviews. They are really just Bath Planet under the guise of a shell/DBA company. Look up "bath planet reddit" or Glassdoor reviews under bath planet for more info. Hilltop quote estimate for X2 acrylic showers material and labor is under $10k total for reference.
