Working with these guys was a pleasure. They made every step of the way easy. They took pictures and sent them to me along with the bid so that I could look it over and decide what was best for my house and my budget. They got me on the schedule very quickly and got my roof done in one day. Spartan did an excellent job with our roof. Our contact Bob was very helpful with the whole process and responded quickly to text and phone calls. It was large and fairly complicated. I was home for the whole process and it went smoothly. Its a messy process but they cleaned up everything. They were very careful to go over and over with the magnet to clean up the nails. We had filed a claim for March 25th, 2023. At first we had a different roofing company that failed to show up for the insurance claim worker. I was referred by family to Andy who was awesome! James worked tirelessly to get my claim approved through my insurance company due. Without his efforts I would not have been able to upgrade to a metal roof. He was extremely professional and helpful, always taking time to answer my questions and concerns. However, things fell apart on the scheduling side. I was told I was in the *roofing queue* and then .... crickets. The only time I would hear anything was when I reached out to someone. Even when I was given an install date, it was not set in stone. I called two days before the scheduled install only to find out it was not set for that date at all. Then I was given excuses about why it was not scheduled, at one point even being told it was my fault for not scheduling it! The end result, though, is awesome. The install crew worked tirelessly to install my metal roof in one day and it looks AMAZING!!! I am very pleased with the project. However I would hesitate to use this company for my other housing projects due to the lack of communication and keeping the customer informed. I had no problem if the project needed to be pused back but please let me know that. *including before and after pictures of my roof - what an amazing transformation!*Service: Roof installation

Awesome experience working with Spartan. James was our contractor and was in constant communication with us and our insurance company regarding storm damage. The crew showed up and had the entire thing done in 1.5 days and would've been quicker had there not been rain. Highly recommend these guys!

Spartan recently replaced my house and barn roof. I would definitely recommend them. Josh worked tirelessly to get Allstate to pay for what they legally should and didn’t let them get away with cutting corners in my policy. He is extremely knowledgeable on Ohio law and was able to go toe to toe with Allstate and came out successful for the homeowner. I would definitely recommend having Josh come take a look at your roof. Once the crew showed up to work on the roof they worked very quickly and got the projects done way faster than originally quoted. My barn was actively housing horses during the repair and they were very attentive to my safety requests regarding the animals. Crew was on time, polite and hard working. Their team took extra care to protect pool and equipment, hottub, deck, custom cooper roofing and throughly swept for nails. I would recommend this company even if storm damage is not suspected. Out of pocket costs were reasonable and within market standards, even below in some cases. They took extra time when installing all flashing to ensure they were esthetically pleasing and created increased protection for years to come. House had dead valley, which seemed to leak since the house was built. I want to say that the entire time, we had our roof worked on, everyone was 100% on time and in constant communication with us no matter what was going on. We have used other contractors to work on parts of our home; it's almost 100 years old and needing some TLC, and my experience with Spartan was exceptionally a 180 degree difference vs other experience.We did have a few hiccups on some.issues of accidental damage to some property but when we made them aware, it was fixed ASAP. With how the business from beginning to end was handled I even asked for recommendations for use of a siding crew they use and now have that work going on and I can't be happier with the results on that work too!Thank you to everyone at Spartan StormShield for taking care of our house, our family and making our home look beautiful for another 100 years!

Spartan came highly recommended by one of my colleagues after one of the bad storms in late July and the experience was absolutely seamless. I was lucky to work with Bob Hilt, who I texted the morning after the storm and not only did he respond right away, he came out that same day to assess the damage. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and transparent about the extent of the damages and sat with me through the process of submitting the insurance claim. Once the claim was filed and approved, Spartan handled everything from start to finish - no hiccups, consistent communication, and the end result was a new, high quality roof installation. Even the installation process was extremely smooth and the field manager, Tony, was on-site and kept me looped in as progress was made. This company is lucky to have an all-around solid, caring, and beyond professional team that goes above and beyond to exceed expectations. Our roof replacement was just finished June 2023. Communication from the time we started with estimates with Joel to scheduling then actually doing the work was excellent. Their workers showed up on time for the 3 days. Anthony was very responsive to any requests I had while they were doing the work and actually came back to do some minor clean up after. Will be doing extra interior finishing with the skylights without additional costs. Time will tell regarding their quality of work but I do feel comfortable with their warranty. Spartan is a very professional customer oriented group from start to finish.During the quote they did a thorough on-site analysis, provided a very detailed well written contract spelling out everything included/excluded as well as detailing the work to be done in each phase (tear off, carpentry repairs, roofing, etc.).They did a fantastic job replacing my roof, deteriorating fascia boards and installing a new skylight.The crew was a straight-to-work, no nonsense group that was prompt every morning and worked very professionally. The on-site project manager was very easy to work with and took the time to update me and explain issues/problems, solutions and progress.During the project, they took great care to not damage my new driveway and any trees/bushes.My repairs took several days and the end of each day, they cleaned up everything and left the job site looking neat and organized.
