DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Hired Drakes Handyman Service to remove attic insulation/put down new (Small spaces),Mudding of walls, and pallet wood on the ceiling. Brian seemed professional at first. He wanted and received 75% of the money for the work within the first week and a half. Then everything seem to come to a halt. He had lots of excuses as to why he would not be working, he started just dropping people off to do the work one guy stayed for 20 mins. I would express my concerns of the quality of work I was seeing and he ensured me that it would be corrected and done right, but only seemed concerned about getting his money! You can see in the photos the poor work that was left. He asked for half of his final payment before the work was complete. (Which was not given and honestly we should have NOT paid him his final payment, however we were at the point that we just did not want to deal with him anymore!) This room was suppose to be paint ready. No clean up of the dust was done at all. We have spent the last 2 weeks fixing and going over his work. Unfortunately this review is so negative because we wasted lots of money and got poor quality work in return! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!Look for yourself… does this look “Paint Ready”?? I needed a bathroom ceiling/light replaced. Brian came the day I called even though replacement was not urgent. I had a replacement unit that would not fit so Brian came back the next day after I got the right unit. He had the new unit in that day. Very professional, worked around My schedule so I didn't have tomiss any work, was on time, reasonably priced. I had to get work done to my house for sale and he took care of it right away, bathroom venting issue and hot water tank, he didn't speak down to me like some female who didn't know anything. After calling two other handymen and being pretty much dismissed saying the job didn't really sound worth coming out, I called Brian drake and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and considerate. So by time I described the small job I had, well, I started remembering more jobs I needed around our house....got me really amped up and I gotta say, it turned out to be several thousand dollars. Because Brian was considerate and patient with me explaining all the details and going on and on like I am now, as soon as we get the money that's coming to us.....HES GOT THE JOB!!!

After posting a review we noticed an area of yard work Brian did not finish. We asked him to return to finish. He did come by and returned some product and some change for a purchase we made but he did not complete the job he was paid for. I have txted him again but he hasn't replied nor has he been here to complete the job.

I had an odd problem with my loved one being placed into a long term care facility. I needed to have a large piece of furniture moved to the facility for her comfort. After a couple of rejections, I called Drake’s Handyman Service and he couldn’t have been more accommodating! He was willing to do whatever I needed and he was able to get it done on the very day I called! He and his workers were professional, very caring, and affordable. Worst so called company ever. Only showed up 1 or 2 days and not in a row. Took the money from a 98 year old and refused to refund it. He yelled at me over the phone while he was at my house and my fiance ended up calling the cops on him because he refused to leave my property. His cousin Wayne gheen ended up trying to finish the job but instead didn't complete all the way and ended up losing more money.. please don't deal with this company, wags construction, or wayne gheen. They will 100% rip you off. Absolutely do not recommend. He was a no call no show for me. 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment I reached out to him and he said he had an "emergency water extraction" and that he would have to reschedule for the next day. I never heard from him again. That was 2 months ago.
