Good communication, stayed on top it things, but did not rush us. Was quick at responding and prompt arrivals when metting. The team was REALLY fast and things look great finished. The quick clean up was good too. No current issues. (Standard intown ranch style roof took around 4 hrs! This was tear off, laying, clean up and dumpster picked up! I was impressed!)

Quoted roof, soffit, facia and gutter. 16k project in total. The roofing crew cut in ridge vent for ventilation. However, they did not install venting soffit. Per the manufacturers warranty, a non vented or under vented roof will reduce the 30 year manufacturers warranty down to a 10 year warranty. I asked and the contractor thinks it should be fine because that is the way they always do it. I told Great Lakes that I was not happy with the soffit. Eric did have someone come back out and install a few pieces of sofit, but it is no where near enough to meet the International Residental Code R806.1 which calculates requirements of homes to get the proper NFVA. The next issue is the facia is sagging in several places, pictures sent and Great Lakes looked at it but did not fix any of poor workmanship. They did not stand up to their claim of backing their warranty. I can provide others the address if someone would like to see the quality of work that they provide.

When our roof was damaged they responded quickly and suggested the damage could cover result in the insurance replacing our roof. GLF worked with insurance through the whole process. The crew replaced our roof recently and did a very nice job. They were at our house for about 14 hours! They cleaned up afterward and even came back the next morning to make sure everything looked good. They also were careful not to damage the many flowers I have surrounding our house. Our roof was storm damaged in April, 2023. My insurance company was NO help at all. I called around to several roofing companies in the area and got the run around. Talking with other people about not being able to find a roofer, they all said that the "market was flooded" right now with roof damaged homes so roofers were picking and choosing who to take on as clients. Originally, I just wanted my roof REPAIRED and not fully replaced as the damage was limited to a specific part of the roof. So, other roofers kicked me to the curb. Grand Lake Roofing said they'd help me right from the start! Eric got a hold of my insurance company right away and started the paperwork process . As it turns out, the roof ended up being replaced and not just repaired! The Grand Lake Roofing team showed up on the day they said, at the time they said and had the roof done in ONE DAY!! They layed tarps down and cleaned up everything that came off the roof - nails, little plastic round things that I don't know the name of, all the shingle pieces, etc. The GLR crew was AMAZING!! I was so stressed out and anxious about my roof due to my insurance rep and all the other roofing companies. But Grand Lake Roofing eased much of it from the get go. We had set up two appointments with Grand Lake Roofing for a roof repair, and they didn't show up for either one. No call, no show for both. We gave them the benefit of the doubt on the first appointment, thinking there may have been a miscommunication between the person taking the appointment and the person coming out for the appointment. So we called them again to reschedule, and the same thing happened. No one showed up, and no one called to cancel. Very unprofessional, and very frustrating! I had things to do both days, and it was nothing but a waste of my time.
