We had wanted a fence for our backyard for a long time. We contacted three other fencing companies, and no one would so much as call us back. We got in touch with Honey Do after they built a fence for one of our neighbors, and Fred promptly scheduled a time to visit our property, take measurements, and discuss the process. We got our quote within a few days, which showed very fair and transparent pricing for the materials and labor. After we accepted the quote, we were put on their schedule a few weeks out (instead of months, like we had anticipated). Before we knew it, Honey Do built us a fence from start to finish in 2.5 DAYS. We were so impressed by their friendliness, punctuality, efficiency, and professionalism. They were also highly organized–every evening, they would clean up after the work day and leave all their tools and supplies neatly stacked in small sections of the yard. In addition, they were happy to answer all of our questions. We absolutely love the new fence and how it has transformed our yard (as evidenced by the photo, our dogs are pretty happy too), and can't wait for Honey Do to come back and stain it!

Extremely sloppy work. I hired them to rebuild a staircase, and they built the entire staircase crooked, the steps all slope down and to the side when you walk up. They also elected to leave some of the old wood in, and just nail it back to the new staircase for some reason. The bottom pillars of the staircase are loosely rested (completely unatached) on a shallow concrete block they placed on the ground.

This company is terrific. We had a project with a 90 year old garage, replacing doors, reframing, etc. The worksmanship is amazing and they were prompt with estimates and work schedule. I highly recommend them.

Best handyman I’ve ever used. Show up on time, work efficiently, clean up, friendly and courteous. I’ve used them twice now and would certainly use them again should the need arise. They built and installed beautiful gates for our backyard fence. There was a minor issue and they came back promptly and made adjustments at no charge. Update: have used their services 2 more times and will continue to use their services.Original:Excellent service completed in May 2020 and will hire again. Professional and friendly, they respected my space and always cleaned up after themselves. Communicated well. They rebuilt outdoor handrails that were rotting, they removed my rotting double doors on my shed and rebuilt a new frame with extra wide single door, repaired a kitchen drawer and repainted my kitchen cabinets. Hired to do multiple jobs around my home including cleaning gutters, repair and paint ceiling under porch, texturize bathroom ceiling, hang towel rack and correct a toilet that had been installed incorrectly. Initially he was polite and professional. We went through each job and I was assured that there shouldn't be a problem with repairs that I requested he also gave a fairly high price for the toilet repair but he said that he would have to remove it and to see how it was installed and then replace it so initially I was okay with the price. What actually occurred is that the gutters were cleaned the bathroom ceiling was texturized and he did a great job with those items. The problem came with the porch ceiling repair it was not repaired only painted and that was a $380 job. The toilet just had caulking around it on my slate floors which are now damaged. The towel rack was never hung because he was unable to find the hardware but no one called me to say that they were unable to find hardware. So $900 later I called and made a complaint and I was basically berated over the phone and told I was a horrible client and not able to work with me although I only spoke with him one time which is which the initial consultation. Would I hire him again NO. I give him a c-minus because of his attitude and the way he treated me the customer. He was unprofessional and borderline abusive with has comments. There was no attempt to correct the problem or to find out where there may have been some miscommunication about the job. Is only response was you agree to the contract and it doesn't matter if I was only there for 5 minutes. But who would pay $380 for someone to paint an area that six by eight. Just ridiculous don't patronize his services
