They came quickly, gave us a very detailed estimate, and worked with us to adjust it based on our needs. They did the work, and it seems to be done very well and carefully. There were some unexpected issues that arose during the process (e.g., a board with water damage beneath a board they were replacing), and they explained each one to us, and came up with a plan to address it. Being newly located in Columbus for work, I was very excited to buy a new house and get some work done. My Realtor found this company and we called for a quote based on the reviews. The Gentleman that came out was awesome. He quickly accessed the work that was needed, a fairly big job, and was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided a quote and I decided I wanted to go with the company. However, I had questions, as the quote detail of work to be done was a bit vague. I tried to call this gentleman, but instead got a guy named Warren. From the first communication he was very rude and disrespectful when I asked for clarity about what exactly they were going to use as wood, and asked him to elaborate on the repair. I simply wanted to ensure that everything was going to be taken care of, as the job was to fix something that was done wrong prior to me buying the home. After two communications with him, and him clearly not caring about customer service or our business, I told him I would find someone else. I am quite shocked that this organization would allow someone to treat a new customer the way he treated us. They lost a job over what should have been appreciated to make sure the customer and contractor were on the same page. If i allowed my staff to speak to customers the way this man did, I would go out of business very quickly and be very embarrassed as the owner.We found another contractor who has been amazing and actually came in $1300 under this quote. He has done the work, done it well, and communicated with us prior to starting as to exactly what to expect. Now my Realtor is referring him and will not refer KD Yoder, nor will we or our neighbors and friends.

I had 3 estimates for trim replacement. K.D. Yoder was the only contractor who brought out a ladder and inspected my entire house to see what boards needed replaced. I received a picture of the house with each board highlighted that needed replaced. I was a bit concerned about the stucco of the main house being trashed while removing the old trim around my windows because trim boards were recessed under aluminum trim around the windows. However this was done without any damage. A very professional job done within 2 days. Would recommend this company without any reservation.
