I wished I had read the reviews first before hiring this company. The process started in June 2021 and was finished about March/April 2022.After the work was completed, Zack was paid and said he would provide the warranty & to contact Apex if there were any problems. Well, there is some leaking & my brother (point of contact) texted Zack several times - NO RESPONSE. I texted Zack & sent pictures - NO RESPONSE. This has been going on for weeks and as of Thursday, July 7, 2022, no response.If I had it to do all over again, I would not have used this company. There is a lot more to this story that I've not included in this review.UPDATE: As of Tuesday, January 17, 2023, I'm still waiting for this problem to be repaired. My brother & I have tried to contact Zack since July of 2022. We scheduled a date & time, and he didn't bother showing up, which is his MO. Zack contacted me that the part he needed was in. Well, he never got back with me to schedule the repair. My brother & I tried several times to contact Zack because I still have leak. FINALLY, The repair was scheduled 8:30a on Friday, 1-13-2023. When I didn't hear from Zack, I text him because he doesn't bother informing me that he's not coming. The repair had to be rescheduled because of weather & my brother talked to Zack & Zack rescheduled the repair for Tuesday, 1-17-23 for 9a. He was to call me around 8a when they would be on the way. No call, nothing, until I texted him. Then I got a call from him. I won't get into the particulars as to what was said because I was NOT HAPPY. My question is this ----If Zack had me on the schedule for 9a, how did he forget to call me????? To keep me inform if the repair would be done today or not. As of now, the repair is to be done Wednesday, 1-18-2023, no time given.For those who read this review, you've been warned. Apex did not treat me with respect because of their lack of communication, not showing up, & I'm still waiting for the WRITTEN WARRANTY!UPDATE: Zack ghosted us. The last time I heard from him was on/about Mon, Mar 6, 2023 to be put on the schedule. I texted him Mon, Mar 27 & Wed, Mar 29----He never got back with me. So today, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, I filed a complaint with the Dayton area BBB.UPDATE: Friday, June 2, 2023 --- My complaint with the BBB ended as I thought it would. Zack/Apex LIED to the BBB about what he discussed with us. I don't know from where that conversation came. The BBB's reply stated this complaint was at a stand still and the next step would be arbitration. We rejected this as a solution because we're dealing with a con man. Do not do business with this liar & con man. Go to his website and check out the business's email address, which doesn't say much for the company. Once again, I wished I had read these reviews before being conned. I wouldn't hire this company to put a roof on a dog house!UPDATE: Tuesday, March 12, 2024Since my last update, I reported Zack Parsons to the AG's office. Zack did respond & sent someone to make the repairs. However, the repairs didn't work, we still have the problem. To cut to the chase, I got hold of Zack, he scheduled to do the repairs Friday, March 8, 2024. It rained. So he rescheduled for Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 8 a.m. No Zack or crew showed, which is no surprise. I bet he's chasing new money with the recent storms. You see, he's been paid in full by us and his poor workmanship is not a top priority with him to fix it. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!Services: Roof repair, Roof damage repair

Prior to buying our house, Apex installed a new roof. Several years later, two contractors doing other work let us know that they saw serious installation issues, including not installing a vent for bathroom fans and concealing that a ridge vent was not properly installed. Apex's owner continuously dodged my calls and emails and when I did get him on the phone and expressed my concerns, he started yelling and swearing at me. Without evidence, he claimed that the installation was correct and, even if it wasn't, that the 40 year warrant was invalid (also without evidence). In the end, we had to pay more than three thousand dollars to another roofer to fix their mistakes. That roofer explained that he was not surprised and has run into numerous Apex roofs needing to be repaired because of poor installation and deeply unprofessional service.Service: Roof installation

We were quoted very quickly and given a scheduled installation as soon as we made our decision. The price was great. The installers were professional, did great work, and cleaned everything up really well. We had all new gutters and spouting installed also. They did a fantastic job. We would highly recommend and refer Apex Exterior Solutions for any of your exterior needs.

BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE!Apex Exterior Solutions provided the best possible service I could ask for. They helped me in every step of the process and saved me more money than I could have imagined. Not only is there work professional and timely, but the customer service experience is what sets them apart. Zack fought for me like a lawyer to get my roof covered on the house. He told me based on the laws (which he is very familiar with) , I was entitled to a new roof covered by the insurance company. Despite my insurance company trying to avoid paying for the roof at every turn, Zack refused to accept this injustice. After meeting with several adjustors from the insurance company who agreed with his assessment, Allstate still refused to cover the roof. Zack was diligent in his documentation and responses to the insurance company. He took care of everything we needed to contest the insurance company. After 3 attempts to get the roof covered, he explained the appraisal process to us( Look this up if you aren't familiar, its like insurance court). Not only did he provide excellent information, he walked us through the process. In the end we got a new roof for our house and our barn!!! This never would have happened without his help. We couldn't be happier with the service that Apex provided. Zack's knowledge and resolve to help his customers far and away paid for his services (which I might add are very competitive). Do yourself a favor and use Apex for your roof, gutters, siding, etc. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Apex Exterior Solutions has failed to complete a contract that began shortly after the tornado damage in the Dayton area back in May of 2018. Initially, members of the company were responsive and began the initial work quickly getting the roof replaced. They are still on contract to complete several other repairs for the house but have barely gotten anything done 7 months later. The company no longer returns phone calls, barely respond to emails and what responses are submitted with promises to deliver all end up broken with no communication as to what happened.I've tried for months to make amends with the company but they are still failing to complete the numerous repairs and fixes to the house. They still have parts and old materials left in my yard which part of the contract says they are required to pick up and cannot leave behind.After having a structural engineer out to investigate and discovering several additional required repairs, they promised to deliver documentation and estimates for repairs to myself and the insurance company but I still have yet to have everything from the company. Initially they said email issues were the problem as to why they hadn't delivered the documents. Eventually they confessed that he had not started and setting a deadline would force them to get the paperwork done. They missed that deadline as well that they themselves set.Only one person has responded to my email regarding the issue and he claims they are having email connection issues and are unable to provide the documents but will keep trying.The insurance company only has the window open for funds/updates/repairs for so long and that window will be closing later this year. Apex needs to get the job finished ASAP and stop providing made up excuses and lying to their customers. If they "took too much work on" but still signed contracts, they are on the hook to get it done even if they have to hire additional help.

Appex Exterior was quick to respond to my request for gutters on a garage for one of my properties. Zak always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done properly even at his own expense in many cases. He delivers on his promise and strives to provide the best service every time.Additionally they were able to handle a new roof for a family member and went above and beyond by not only doing the roof but also installing siding to help with maintenance. They were very happy with the work and the prices were very reasonable.

What a great experience from the beginning. Outstanding customer service, professionalism and follow through throughout the entire process. Zach and all the staff were knowledgeable about all aspects with attention to the fine details and craftsmanship during the inspection to roof replacement to clean-up. Exceeded our high expectations, would recommend this company to our close friends (whom we have) and the entire Miami Valley. In follow-up a secondary company, independently inspected the new roof and was very impressed with the quality. Stating "I would expect nothing less from my own crew." Attic vent cover blew off with crazy wind gusts last night. Called Apex and within an hour, Zach was there....even at 8pm on a Saturday! He provided a fix and was so quick at helping! I googled multiply roofing company’s and finally I came across Apex exterior solutions. Mike came out right away to give an estimate. It was important that we got the roof done in a hurry because we had a leak inside the house and more rain was coming our way. They did a complete tear off and new roof in 2 days! Very satisfied customer! Looks great!

The work crew was courteous and respectful. As far as I can tell the work they did on my home is good, time and rain will be the test of that. The only reason I did not give five stars is because we had some difficulty getting a set start date for the work, and their communication on this could have been better. Overall I am satisfied.

Total clowns. You'd be better off hiring the three stooges. They performed the punchlist repair items for a home that I purchased. Repairs were substandard, roof still leaked, non-responsive to redress the problem. Had to pay to get all their work ripped out and done by roofers who knew what they were doing.

The owner of this company backed into my girlfriend's car at a red light and attempted to lie to the insurance companies saying she ran into him, requiring us to get the officer involved just to settle the claim. I wouldn't trust doing business with a person like that.
