In the process of buying a house, our realtor suggested Campbell’s Roofing Company to get a quick estimate on some roof related items that came back in the inspection. We sent Fred the inspection report, and he sent back a reasonable quote for the roof items, but also for some extras like replacing some siding and resealing our front door. We were thrilled to knock extra stuff off the “to fix” list. We pulled the trigger on the house, and a month later we reached back out to have the work done. Fred’s team came on time, were extremely friendly, and knocked out the work. They communicated with us the whole time, at one point let us know they had to leave for a short time to match the siding color and it was a bit of drive from where we lived. They came back and the siding was next to identical in color! The team was great and work looked good!A few weeks later we had a small leak in our ceiling during a massive rain store, unrelated to the items on the inspection report. Fred came out personally two days after we called to take a look. He popped out the ladder, climbed up in the corner where the leak was, and started explaining what he was looking for. As he was going he was letting me know what he was seeing looked good and he couldn’t imagine water getting in from there. He eventually came to a spot that was about a pea sized hole and suspected that maybe that was it, pulled out the caulk and went to town. He said to keep an eye on the spot in the ceiling next time it rains and to call him back if that didn’t solve it. He then said that since we have a half full tube of caulk, he mentioned pulling up our inspection and we’ll check if anything needs caulking, so we filled some small holes by the electric/AC, etc! Amazing!Several big rains later and the fix has been perfect, no more issues or leaking!

When I contacted campbell's to inspect my roof, they were here fast and did a complete inspection. They scheduled to be here on site to meet with my insurance adjuster and submitted estimates right away. Once our claim was approved, the work was scheduled quickly. The installation crew showed up on time and worked non-stop until the project was done. The crew was respectful of our property did high quality work and did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterward. We had hail damage, and the owner personally assisted us through the multi step inspection and approval processes. Once approved, the company was very clear about how much time it might take to get supplies - a few weeks due to supply chain issues. Instead of that wait, they ended up delivering the project ahead of schedule. The crew was very professional, fast and clean. The whole house plus an additional 3 car garage was done in only 2 days. I even think my driveway was better swept than it was before they started. I highly recommend this company. He also wrote up two quotes for me to decide how to proceed--one for a full roof tune-up and one for a full roof replacement. He did a great job on repairing and tuning up on my home to be sold as well. Extremely knowledgable and well-rounded. Discovered that our enclosed patio was leaking. Jamie from Campbell's responded quickly, thoroughly inspected the roof and recommended several options. We decided the patio roof replacement with 10 years warranty would be our best option. All the work was done professionally and on schedule. Do not use this company. When we were moving out of our house, our realtor contracted them to replace the roof. When I called to work out the financials, their receptionist was completely unprofessional. We had a meeting so I could give her the check, I called because no one was at the office and she proceeded to talk to me for 20 minutes about her divorce and how she was not at the office because of it (after we had a scheduled appt). 9 months after I wrote them the check I began receiving phone calls saying I hadn’t signed the back. They then proceeded to send the “unsigned” check to my old address conveniently so I have no proof of where my check is. I spoke with the owner and advised him I would not, under any circumstances, work with his receptionist anymore and she was 100% responsible for any bad experiences anyone had with the company. Nearly one year after we’ve moved out of our house and we just gave him the new check.Save yourself the worry of this company being a complete scam & go with someone else.Service: Roof installation

Excellent response time. They had the job finished even faster than they estimated and left the property cleaner than it was before they arrived. No damage to the yard or landscaping, and I found no nails on the ground at all (we have dogs and this was a concern). If I could give them negative stars, I would. We have a home we purchased in Dayton from out of state that we're using as a rental. We called Campbell's and they said they would patch the roof for us after they inspected it. Instead, they simply threw a tarp on the roof and did zero patch work. Not to mention, we paid them $500 because they had told us the job was completed (pretty expensive tarp, must be made of gold). When we found out about this, we called in immediately and got the runaround from a receptionist who told us it "fell through the cracks" and didn't have any additional information and was unwilling to help us as she sent us to Fred, the owner. After multiple attempts to reach Fred, he finally answered the phone and assured us that he "wasn't out to screw anybody" and that they would make things right - said he'd meet us at the house and finish the work. We made the trip to Dayton and after multiple phone calls and text messages, we're still waiting for a response. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone - they'll tell you what you want to hear and they won't do anything they say they're going to do. They'll tell you they are "busy" but that's a nonsense excuse - if you accept a job, you better perform. And time and time again, they have not and have declined to take any responsibility for it. Campbell’s roofing saved my house. Twice.When my 90+ year old dormer roof buckled, spewing water into my dining room and pantry, the Campbell’s team were the only crew that could show up the moment it stopped raining and replace the faulty roof with an excellent new rubber roof. They know what they’re doing. Seriously. These guys could roof a submarine. And they do it for reasonable prices that just make sense. If you need work done, look no further. Learn from my mistake, and start where my search for reliable roofing ended. Freddy did some work on my roof on one of my houses in Cincinnati. First off, he traveled pretty far to help me with some tricky problems. I was having bad leaks on my old box gutters. I also had a metal roof that was shoot on my front porch. I had numerous people take a look and many said they could not repair the box gutters. After many ridiculous estimates, Freddy came out and gave me a fair price. He completed the work and not only does it look great but I no longer have leaks!
