I had Erie come out to give me a quote on replacing our roof, to include the entire roof deck. Started out at $37,000+, and final figure was around $29,000. I was polite and listened to the sales pitch from a trainee, asked questions of my own. A second salesman came in and started in with pricing, beginning with the above figure, dropping it to $29,000. I told them no financing, we would be paying cash - decided to tell me about a $20,000 down payment and we could finance the rest. Reiterated this several times after being told no, and finally wrote down Y/N and asked me to circle which one I wanted. Circled no, and *finally* got them out after 2.25 hours. My husband, after they came back *again*, finally had to flat out tell them to leave! I did a lot of research, read all the reviews, and thought I was looking at a decent company. No thank you!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The job was completed in one day. The crew that installed our roof were excellent. Friendly courteous and when done we couldn't tell they had been here except for the new roof. I would recommend Erie to anyone.

Erie did a whole roof replacement for me. From the estimate, to the job scheduling, to the finished roof took less than a week and a half. The roof replacement only took one day. You know when you talk to the salesman from Erie Home and they tell you your roof will be on in one day you kinda shake your head and say no way. Was I surprised. The installers took half a day and had double roof off ready to put new roof on, I was completely surprised. They were very professional and true to their word. They completely picked after themselves. Great job and would recommend for anybody to put the miracle roof on. Looks beautiful.

We had the metal barrel roof placed on our home. The workers were great, fast, and friendly. How can a roof make such a visual difference!!?? The roof looks amazing! The cost of the roof is pricey, but if you want to look different than all your neighbors AND know they will fix any issues AND have a INCREDIBLE warranty that is transferable, DO IT! We had an issue (some dented barrels) and they were out immediately to fix the issue. Thanks Erie!!

I wanted to get a simple estimate for a new roof and gutter system after some storm damage. They informed me they don’t deal with any insurance claims. They sent 2 new sales people who were at my house for almost 3 hours giving me an estimate for a nearly $60k roof and did not include gutters or anything. They would not take no for an answer but I am not paying 4x what all other companies have quoted me. I wanted a roofing company, not a sales team.

The sales process was very informative. I was confident that I would receive a superior product. I had other quotes for less but I agreed that the silver under lay and the quality of the shingle was worth paying more. They included features that others had not offered. The installation up be satisfactory. The installers worked hard and frequently asked if I was happy. A small miss understanding with the job description was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. We are very pleased with the workmanship and look of the roof with the professionalism of the crew. The work was finished much quicker than we anticipated, and once they left, you could barely tell anyone had been there to work on the house.It is a higher priced option, so my advice is to have other quotes in hand *before* scheduling an appointment. That way you will be able to compare their options and prices as they make their presentation and make an informed decision.

My house is about 2400 sq. feet with a very steep roof pitch surrounded by many trees. Those conditions are rough on a roof. I decided to go with a metal roof, as it will likely outlast me (in my 50s). It’s beautiful, and I expected it to be noisy in heavy downpours. It’s not. It sounds different than asphalt, but you get used to it. I’m happy with the purchase, but I recommend thinking seriously about the price. Mine was ~$50k, so prepare yourself for the sticker shock. And, yes, I have since trimmed the shrubs. You want to wait to do that after they’re done.

The salesman came out and showed us the metal roof product...I was very impressed. No exposed fasteners. We chose the cottage style. He didn't say anything about this style being attached different with exposed fasteners. This needs to be added to the sales presentation. The installer assured me it would not leak. The installation was great. They do however need to be careful of throwing things off the roof. Put a hole in my hottub cover. They should also run a magnet around the perimeter of the house. I found a handful of nails and staples from what they tore off. All in all I am happy with the overall process.

Do not even waste your time!!!! They sent someone out to give us a quote. He was at our house for TWO AND A HALF HOURS going through his painfully long sales pitch. If it takes you that long to pitch your product, something is seriously wrong. We told him when he arrived that we want a standing seam metal roof and not once did he say they didn’t sell that type of metal roof until he left. And then the best part is it took him 45 minutes to just WRITE out two quotes (one for metal and one for shingles) and they were more than triple the 5 other quotes we’ve received from competitors. Also, we had to actually ask him to leave our house and he kept asking us to sign one of the quotes. Not to mention I was holding our 6 month old baby the entire time he was here and it obviously never phased him that we are busy parents needing to do more important things like feed our child and put her to bed. So incredibly rude and complete waste of our time.

I first saw an ad for Erie Metal Roofing on Facebook and wanted to learn more. We knew our house would be in need of a new roof within the next year or so and I was prepared to get multiple quotes and start shopping. A rep named Brad Apple came out to our house one evening and spent a solid two hours with us answering all our questions, talking the time to educate us about their products, warranties and pricing. He even took pictures from inside our attic of the interior of our roof on what was a pretty hot day already. (I don't want to think about how hot the attic was) Once he had all the measurements and we figured out what we wanted a quote was given and financing was set up. I didn't even feel the need to get additional quotes from other companies. This was the one! About 3 weeks later the roofing materials were delivered and the very next day a crew was at our house installing the new roof. The team arrived after we had left the house for work and when we got home that evening, there wasn't any sign of them... except now we had a beautiful new roof. I am beyond impressed with the timely manner the install was done and the fact that no trace was left behind. The crew was thorough in clean-up and took care not to damage any of my plants/flowers planted around the house. I especially appreciate that I didn't have to take anytime off work to meet with anyone or be home for the install. Now we have a 30 year warranty on our house that gives me a great peace of mind. Erie carefully explained their products and installation process. We selected the fiberglass shingles for their durability. Be sure that when going over the scope of work with the Project Manager, to be as detailed as possible - the team showed up to find a house twice the size as was written on their system! However, Erie was able to get the job done the following team with a team of 12 men who worked from sunrise to sundown. Very impressed with how the work was done and cleaned up afterwards.

The sales person was up front and he worked with me so I could have new windows installed replacing old rotten windows from the forties when the house was built. The installation went smoothly and the installers were very friendly and professional. They cut out the old windows and had the new windows installed one at a time. They didn't make a mess inside or outside and they hauled it all away. I recommend Erie Construction because they did such a great job. We love our new windows and it stays much warmer and cooler inside.

Got my bathroom done by them years ago, paid 10 grand to get a LIMITED lifetime warranty I’m learning now. I’m literally asking them to replace the subflooring, and to recaulk the bathtub they installed. And they told me to recaulk the bathtub it’s going to be $300 and that they won’t install new floor. Mind you my bathroom is TINY. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I’m hearing more and more horror stories. Half of me wants to take a trip down to the Montgomery county prosecutors office, and talk to heck and sue them for fraud.

Great job, they had a WHOLE crew too do the job. Took off the old roof shingles, Ice protecting sheeting & roof sheeting. Put on all new sheeting, ice protection sheeting, roof shingles & boards where needed. All in one day GREAT JOB !!!
