They took the time to do the job correctly and used finesse with the glass top and placed the appliances on the pedestals in a tight area without causing damage. They provided an on the spot estimate with reasonable pricing options and accept credit card payment in person or over the phone. They take their time to ensure that their work is high quality and that the job is complete to your satisfaction. Ben quickly came to the rescue when my spouse and I had projects contracted through Lumber Liquidators and Lowes that were not being completed in a timely manner nor to our satisfaction (see below for more details). If you're in the greater Dayton area, look no further than Ben and his team for all your home maintenance needs.Lumber Liquidators would not install our laminate wood flooring the way we wanted the flooring installed (without transitions between adjoining, open rooms). When we purchased the flooring and installation at Lumber Liquidators, it was not explained to us where they were planning to place the transitions. I expect transitions where the flooring type changes from laminate to carpet in the bedrooms, but not between my adjoining living room and breakfast nook or adjoining foyer and dining room with the same type of flooring. Who wants 15 transitions all over their open concept house?!? Not me!! After I spent a day on the phone with Lumber Liquidators' corporate office after half of the flooring in our house had been torn up, they were unwilling to install the flooring the way we wanted it installed even though I was willing to sign a waiver to void the manufacturer warranty! My spouse and I got on the phone to try to find a local contractor that would install the flooring the way we wanted and to get our half torn up house back together as quickly as possible. We found Ben and he came to the rescue the next day and said that the flooring could be installed the way we wanted without transitions as long as the joints are glued. He provided us with options that Lumber Liquidators would not for the flooring we spent weeks searching for that would compliment our kitchen cabinets and wall color.The other project was a storm door installation through Lowe's. It was going to take them almost 3 months to install a storm door!! (~2 hr project)! It took a month to get the door to the store, then it was going to take another 2 months to get it installed! After all the home improvement headaches we've had with the big corporate stores, Ben's team picked up the storm door at Lowe's and had it installed the next business day.

There is a man that lives right up the street from me and drives a van with this company’s logo. I came home to him accusing my mother of hitting his company van when my mother’s car was parked. He was drunk and falling on the ground. I called the police and reported him. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They obviously do not know what it takes to represent a company in a positive, respectful manner at all times.

I highly recommend Ben and his crew at Great Maintenance Company. I had a garage attic door that came unhinged and made opening the garage door impossible. I called this company at 7pm and he came out the next day and got the job done. Ben also took the time to look at multiple other things I needed done around the house while he was here and he even gave me some tips on things I can do myself and showed me how at no extra charge. I used this company to install and remove old appliances: dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Cheaper than what I would have paid where I purchased them. I also have more confidence in the job done. They much improved a dryer vent issue that I’ve lived with since the last poorly done installation years ago. They were friendly, polite, and professional. Our ac was serviced from a different company due to a faulty component. After Great Maintenance serviced our equipment from previous service from the different company, Ben provided quality attention to our ac unit and definitely educated me along the way and told me why it broke down a second time. New Review:Hire Ben to power wash my house, repaint window trim, touch up brick stucco, and repair some chipped porcelain in my tub. He responded fairly promptly to my emails (within 48 hours). He quoted me a fair price for a diverse set of work. He maintained contact with me to let me know when his team would be here, and he personally came out and walked through the repairs with me. When I pointed out some paint on a window he had the responsible team member and foreman come out to fix it. His work was great, the price fair, and communication good. I plan on another job in the spring and I'll be hiring him again.Old Review:Had Ben come out and do some bead board repair on my porch. I’d hire him again in a minute. First) He actually called me back and kept appointments, this seems like a no brained but in my experience 2/3 of handyman fail here. Second) his price was very competitive. Third) He did excellent work in a timely fashion. Forth). He provided excellent common sense advice, like your Dad would.Just a great trustworthy fellow.

I highly recommend this company. I called many companies for projects and they were either really expensive, didn’t want to do the work, or never showed up. I first called Ben when I was having issues with my furnace and I needed my AC replaced. I called him on a Friday, and that Monday they were already installing it. The were honest, professional, and affordable. And they made sure that it was done right. Also, my bathroom was super small and I had two local companies take a look at it, and they said there was nothing really they could do. Ben did such a good job with my furnace and AC, so I asked him to take a look at my bathroom to see if he could do anything, and he found a way to make it bigger and made it more accessible. I had another company going to install my kitchen sink and countertops, but they kept blowing me off. I called Ben and he said he would match their price. The project was even more involved and Ben didn’t charge me extra. They also did an outstanding job replacing the electric in my kitchen and installing my kitchen cabinets. His team was also really kind and respectful, and I can honestly say that I will never have another company or contractor working on my home because they are the only ones who treated my house like it was their own.

Awesome service they quoted the job and I couldn’t get the shower door delivered. I switched vendors and got one in changing the date for the work several times but they were very patient! The tub where it was going had an uneven ledge so they had to customize the frame. It looks great and they also hung some towel bars that I had trouble with they fixed up my mess and installed the rest perfectly. We had a leaking pipe in our basement wall and Ben came quickly and fixed the problem for us. He was professional, kind, and fairly priced. We will be happy to use this company for future needs.Edited 2019, Great Maintenance Company has since done many projects for us. Most recently, they took tons of time after the tornado went through our yard/deck. Ben, the owner, came out so many times to meet with our insurance company. He helped us appeal the process. He and his crew repainted our whole exterior wood siding, patched some roof issues, and repaired our badly damaged deck, installing all new composite deck railing. The crew was respectful and worked incredibly hard. They cleaned up after each day and even pressure washed the entire deck multiple times to make sure it was all clean and safe for my little kids to be outside. I highly recommend this company for any home projects!

I actually called 3 places before finding Ben, and I'm so glad none of them called me back. Ben was attentive, kind, and quick to take care of my issue. I needed an old awning taken down and hauled away, and the resulting holes in the siding to be filled and waterproofed. Ben and his team came the very next day and did all the work in less than 30 mins. Ben also gave me a quote for some other work I needed done, which was great. We just moved into a new home and will definitely be using Great Maintenance Co. for all our repairs going forward. Highly recommend!

I have never had good experiences with contractors or handy man services. But that all changed with Great Maintenance company. I had a varied list of items that needed repaired as I am in the process of selling my home. He did work all the way from simple screen repairs and window caulking all the way up to HVAC maintenance/repairs and leveling a small deck/stoop. The owner was quick to respond to my communications. Hire Great Maintenance Company for all your home improvement. After moving into a home, I was looking for a contractor/professional to take care of home improvements/repairs that we encountered. I looked up Great Maintenance Company and emailed. Ben is very responsive and professional. I've had Ben and his helper repair water leaks (plumbing) by changing valves for two of the bath sinks and the washer hookup. They also replaced an outlet for the dryer to by installing a three-prong outlet. (electrical). He even dealt with my home warranty company as well. I also had Ben come back and install a couple of storm doors that required some modifications. He also noticed that our front door was not closing correctly. So he also fixed it. His phone is always ringing with customers with projects/issue to repair, but what I think people like about him is his professionalism and caring attitude toward taking care of people's projects/issues. I would strongly recommend Great Maintenance Company and Ben for any home improvement work.

I called Great Maintenance Co in distress and in need of gutter repair. Ben was in the middle of a big job, but asked me to send him pictures of the gutters so that he "could give me a fair estimate." I did not send the pictures until later that evening, because I injured (fractured) my arm, falling off my ladder two weeks ago, attempting to complete the repairs myself. I want to THANK Ben and Chaz for arriving to repair my gutters. All the nails in my gutters were replaced (drilled instead of hammered in) around my entire house. Although one side was hanging off, I could clearly see that other nails were either hanging out or beginning to come out. They also cleaned my gutters; which were horrible and disgusting. I just purchased this home a year ago, but clearly, the previous owners did not believe in cleaning gutters. Let me mention, that Great Maintenance Co arrived, in less than 24 hours, at the end of the day, on a Friday to help me, a "damsel in distress" .....that's how I felt.
