My experience with this company was absolutely amazing. Completely worry free. The gentlemen that came arrived on time, acted very professionally and we're very polite. In the past I've had multiple construction crews out to my home to perform various jobs and have never had the piece of mind that I had with this company. The job was done with care as if they were taking care of their own home. In particular Gary George was an employee that stood out to me in regards of mannerism and work ethic. He was experienced, very helpful with insight on what was being done to my home and very nice to me and my husband. Bob and his crew came out quickly to remove water from my basement. They set up fans and humidifiers to dry out the basement and checked moisture levels daily. They also removed the vinyl plank carefully so it could be reused. They were kind, courteous and couldn’t be more helpful during this process. As a former employee of Floodstar Restoration, I would not recommend calling them for any emergency services. They will take advantage of desperate people in a heartbeat and will make their employees charge customers for services that aren't even needed. The equipment decontamination charge is a joke, we cleaned the equipment maybe 1 time a month, yet they charged multiple customers for it and it is not cheap. They also have to pay for job leads so they will over charge you for a job just to pay off the call. Completely unreliable as far as timing, they barely can maintain enough employees,let alone licensed employees, and will give customers a time knowing they will be late. Have left drying equipment in people's houses for days longer than necessary. All around completely unprofessional. Bob , the operations manager will forge drying charts because employees are lazy and do not take them when they are on the job. Do not trust Floodstar Restoration to do any type of work in your home.

I had an abundance of water coming in my basement. I contacted Blake on the phone and his crew was at my home right away. Stayed until job was complete and I was satisfied, left fans and dehumidifiers to prevent any mold from forming. Very professional and courteous staff. After neglectful plumbers left a pump unplugged in my 4 month old basement (brand new house with unpacked boxes on the floor) raw sewage backed up on my floor! I discovered it on Friday night of a holiday weekend and Floodstar was the ONLY company out of 10 I called to come out on Saturday (evening but I was just grateful at that point). Mason and his team spent hours helping remove the damaged items before cleaning and sanitizing the area. They missed a few spots but quickly resolved it when they came to pick up the blowers. I hope I never have to use them again but I def would if the situation arose!Service: Sewage cleanup

Mason came out and did the mold test and dried out my carpet. Mason was VERY polite and professional at all times. After Mitchell put my carpet back down, BETTER than before, and nailed my door frame and baseboards back up, Mason went the extra mile and shampooed my carpet. My carpet smells fresh now and I am Extremely pleased with their work!!!! Although they are quick to respond to your crisis at hand, professionalism and quality work are another story. It took over 2 weeks for me to receive a receipt for their services after I had already paid them cash on day 2. They called to tell me they were on their way to do more work on the job, only to call 2 hours later stating they were gonna take a lunch break before arrival. Then they never returned the day they were supposed to pick up equipment which is charged by the day. So I reached out to them for them to say I thought the other guy who had the family emergency had called. They just blame other co-workers and dont take fault for anything. Definitely disappointed with this company. I would not recommend this company and their work is sloppy.

This company came in after Hurricane Florence and caused more damage than was necessary. They broke things, cut wires, and destroyed property unrelated to the flood. They overcharged and our insurance refused to pay, so they settled on a much lesser amount. They volunteer to move things for you then charge you for it. Beware of all the rave reviews. They did the job they were hired to do, but I would not recommend them unless they change their supervision habits.

I live in 55 and older, mixed dwelling community, with a very strict HOA.On 5/22 my neighbor had a sewage back up around 10:00 pm or so. A polite and professional young man IN A LARGE BLUE BOX TRUCK knocked on our door our door to inquire if we were having any similar problems to which, fortunately, we were not. HOWEVER, we could not help but notice a LARGE WHitE P/U TRUCK ( unmarked ) was parked across the front of the customers driveway with its LOUD DESIEL ENGINE running the entire time. This vehicle did not appear to be the principle water extraction vehicle " so there wa a NO reason for its extremely loud engine ro be running the entire time. Furthermore, if he would pulled into driveway, or the opposing parking lot there wiuld have been no need the have ALL of his emergency lights flashing and upsetting our quiet community. At or around 11:30 pm. my adult son was taking our new puppy outside for a potty break. While he was waiting on our puppy to finish her business. my son glanced up and noticed the driver of the ( LARGE WHITE BOX TRUCK ) was seated in the driver's seat, it was at that time the driver noticed my son standing in our yard, the driver then raised his voice at my son and and aggressively asked " DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM" to which son replied "why do you have all the lights on sitting in front of the driveway, at this time of night? To which your driver( again. In the LARGE WHITE P/U TRUCK replied,I'll run my engine and shine lights whenever, and whenever I want to, in fact I could pull in your driveway and you can't do anything about it !!!To avoid a physical " confrontation, my son showed the emotional maturity to just go.back into our house. I have been employed by the the World's LARGEST emergency response water mitigation company, and if ANY of our water / sewer techs would have conducted themselves in the same manner as this guy, they would have been FIRED so quickly their head would have spun !!! This company representative demonstrated extremely" POOR COMMUNTY RELATIONS " and I am sure that I will NOT be the only resident in our community to re NOT recommend this conpaniy's services to our residents.
