Not the highest bid/not the lowest. I had had some experience with Ray St. Clair many years ago. Our damage was from a storm & the insurer agreed to a roof replacement.Outstanding work. Our house has an odd roof - an L-shaped A-frame with a VERY steep pitch. The team arrived and had the old roof off quickly. They worked over the course of 2 days getting the new roof on. Follow up from the "office" was quick - one small issue was taken care of quickly. Later, we decided to take off a chimney & they were back out to remove it & reshingle the area. Almost a year later we had one shingle come down & they were out within a day or so to fix it. I called 3 roofing companies for estimates on a roof replacement on 1/15/24. Ray St Clair Roofing made an appointment next day at noon. The estimator was exactly on time, performed a thorough inspection. He wrote detailed estimates for 3 price points: new shingles only; tear-off & good quality shingles; or with premium quality shingles; and confirmed all materials were in stock for potential work the following week. He did this while I waited and answered my questions during that visit. I waited until Thursday 1/25/24 to accept because the other contractors took up to a week to submit the estimates with fewer choices and details on materials provided. Ray St Clair delivered materials Tuesday 1/30 and the job was completed in 1 day, on 1/31/2024. The workers were prompt, efficient, and left the area around the house cleaner than they had found it. I have received documentation on the materials and warranties.I have waited a full month, and a few rain events, to review the work. Everything looks great and I have seen no issues with the new roof. I am completely satisfied and can recommend this company to other homeowners.

Great experience from the initial phone call to the final evaluation. Promptly scheduled an appointment for a quote and a quote was sent a couple days after the gentleman came out. Once the quote was accepted an appointment was scheduled for service. Gentleman was very knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely manner. He explained the work that he completed and why and said someone would be out to evaluate his work. Great people and service... I would definitely recommend!!

Ray St Clair Roofing has an amazing group of professionals working for them. They started early morning and before I was home from work all the roofing had been removed and replaced with high quality materials. They left nothing behind when they were finished. My wife and I are extremely pleased with their team and would recommend them to anyone !

I went with RSC based on reputation and reviews but am a bit disappointed. The estimating experience was great with clear information and follow up. The job itself and follow up after is what I have an issue with. First day I found bags of sand moved from my driveway into my flower beds on top of emerging plants, cigarette butts thrown in my garden bed and on the ground. After the job the supervisor stopped by unannounced (while I was on a work call) to review the job but never rescheduled. I sent an email and a survey back voicing my concerns but no response from RSC. I assume the work is done correctly but the lack of follow up and disrespect to my property by the work crew is why I gave RSC only 3 stars

We are very pleased with our new energy efficient skylights. And the solar shades are attractive, easy to operate, and have made a big difference for us, being able to block or let light in. The tax break incentive for the solar shades was also a plus.

They arrived when they said they would and completed the job quickly. Cleaned up the work area after they were done. Very happy with their service!

We noted a leak in a thirty-two-year-old four-car garage roof; called St Clair, who came out and inspected the situation. Turned out to be the effects of age. We scheduled a new roof; installation was quick (one-day), cleanup was thorough.

Don came out to check a leak in our roof April 15. Said he would email the estimate. On April 24 I called since I hadn't gotten the estimate yet. Spoke to 2 different people including Don. Said he would get the estimate to me. It's now May 6 & still no estimate.

Great job by everyone involved from getting a quote (very detailed explanation of the work to be done and honest assessment of what we would actually need), scheduling service, keeping us posted on timing, the actual work (cleaning out gutters and installing gutter guards). I will call them again for a quote on other work!

We used Ray St. Clair to replace our roof, and I will never use this company again. They showed no respect for our property, they forgot to install the roof vents that were the one of biggest problems, they trashed my garden and killed a bush, broke the gutters, and broke the siding around the new dormer windows we had installed six months prior. At the end of this six-month fiasco of me calling them consistently to have things fixed I am over them and their whole company. Thier commercials where they claim to be a family company that will get the job done right the first time, every time still make me laugh. I would not recommend this company to anyone, even people that I do not like.

Hired Ray St. Clair to replace some of my soffit boards. Two guys came out to replace what was bad but left one area that was to be replaced. A few months later I was noticing some areas where the new boards were coming down. The nails they used were not the correct nails. So I used the correct nails. After a few more months other pieces were coming down. So last November 2022 I called Ray and told them they needed to fix this. The guy I spoke to agreed and right before Christmas two guys came out. I was told two times they would put the correct nails in all areas that they replaced. Well, they came out and shot a compile of nails and left. They were there for maybe five minutes. I gave up on trying to get them back out. They also did some work for my parents last year fixing some areas around their gutters. The boards they replaced came down. One of the boards came down right after the guy stepped off the ladder. Ray St. Clair had a commercial stating that they stand under their work. I wouldn't trust any work that this company performs. No trust in this company at all.

2 Ray St Clair workers assessed my gutter and chimney situation on 8/30/23. They verified my email address and promised to send an estimate. 8 days later I called the company searching for the estimate and was told they would look into it. After several more days of radio silence I finally called RSC again 13 days later on 9/21/23 and was told I would either receive the estimate or a call from the serviceman who had come out back on 8/30/23 (over 3 weeks earlier at this point). Still Nothing. Please don’t waste your time with these people. Save yourself the aggravation - call a company that knows how to conduct business in a professional manner.

Good range of capabilities for exterior work - roofing, trim, brickwork, gutters. Good value when work was performed by Ray St. Clair direct employees, not as good with contractors. Follow-up QC is lacking - common problem with roofing companies. The estimator is not the person who does a final inspection to see that the quality is what the estimator promised.Service: Roof damage repair

We had a horrible experience with this company. To name a few issues the work was not done correctly, we asked for pictures a few times of work completed and they failed to give them to us (once they did we found out the work we paid for was not complete), no call before showing up as we requested (we have large dogs that will bite people that come into our yard) and no call back after I called to complain about all of this. Please do not do business with this company. They are terrible and do not care about their customers like the commercial claims.**Update** A few weeks have passed and my husband actually got on the roof to inspect the work. There is already paint chipping and the clog is still "clogged" and it hasnt rained in a week. They are coming back today to see if they can fix it. I am thinking they need to cut back on their TV commercials during Reds/Bengals games and pay more for the right workers to do a good job.Service: Roof damage repair

Met with Ray St. Clair Roofing at the Home and Garden Show. Tony showed up to the appointment scheduled and provided great detail of what the issue was, did not try to make up other "issues". Provided a fair price. They were able to complete my small repair work quickly. The price was better than any other quote I received from other roofers. They were on top of the game. Great work and response. I scheduled them to come and inspect a section of my roof and then completely forgot. They showed up and did the inspection anyway and then left a detailed quote for the repair on my front porch. When I realized what I had done, I called and apologized.
