As a project manager for a local non-profit, we were in search of a contractor to rehab a severely dilapidated house that was purchased adjacent to our property. After meeting with several contractors, Metzger-Brecheisen was the only contractor that was engaged enough to provide a price estimate based on our vision for the project. Needless to say, we hired MB to complete this project for our agency. The project involved all new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, exterior renovations, insulation, ADA accessibility, new roof, significant plaster repairs (due to water leaks from compromised roofing), painting, new kitchen, and hardwood floor restoration. As with any project of this magnitude, there were some minor roadblocks as some 'suprises' were found 'behind the walls'. Each of these roadblocks were handled professionally by MB, with great concern for our budget and timeline. Their quality of work was outstanding with great attention to detail. During this project, we also hired MB to complete a small renovation for a small meeting room which included addition of a door and installation of a sink. As with the house remodel, this project was completed with the utmost attention to detail and high quality of work. In addtion, MB coordinated their work schedule to perform the work while our agency was closed as to not interrupt normal business operations.The qualities of MB which, in my opinion, set them apart from other are: high quality of work, excellent communications before/during/after the project, respect for our budget, attempting to keep the project timeline on track even with project roadblocks, and post-project follow-up on some minor issues. These are good and honest people. Highly recommend!

I am so impressed with the windows they put in our home. We Got rid of the crumby brown trim and the ancient windows that didn't open. Logan was very professional and extremely helpful. I would recommend them over and over!

We hired Metzger Brecheisen to complete a very large rebuild of an upstairs walk-in closet and bathroom that was severely damaged by water. Scott Brecheisen was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and concerns, and provided us with real-time updates as the project was happening. He was upfront and sincere about any changes or challenges that were necessary to make sure the project was done correctly. The entire team did a fantastic job and we couldn't be more pleased when the work was completed. MB is a top-quality contractor in the Findlay-Hancock County area.

Edit, I have driven past the building that this comment originally pertained to. I see they fixed the issues. Good job. My review has been adjusted.Maybe they are good, I don't really know, but that multi-unit apartment they built over near the YMCA has wrinkled siding on one corner and it isn't even finished yet. It reflects poorly on their care and concern for their projects. If they do fix it sometime within the year I will upgrade my review.In fact I like the building. It gives me a Japanese style feeling. But fix that wrinkly siding.Edit to their response. First thanks for your kind response. No, I am not a customer. I am not sure why that would be relevant to my observation. I mentioned that I will update my review based on any positive changes to the building. I wish you well!

MB has just finished remodeling all three bathrooms in our home and we are incredibly pleased with the results. The whole process was seamless and the guys from Metzger Brecheisen were excellent to work with from the quote through completion.Scott and Brian were nothing professional and kept us apprised of what work would be conducted and when it was to occur. They also made it a point to keep everything clean, which can be a chore during a major remodel.We will use Metzger Brecheisen again in the future and would suggest you do the same. They are prompt, fair-priced, and do incredible work. We are so thankful our friend passed their information along to us!

Brandon and his crew did a full kitchen/living room remodel top to bottom for our house and it is better than we could have ever imagined. These guys are super professional and did an outstanding job from start to finish. These guys showed up first day in about 13 inches of snow and still made it in the morning to work. Several weeks later, everything is complete and I couldn’t ask for anything better. We gave Brandon the code to our garage door and he shared it with his crew and not once did we ever feel anxious about random workers coming in and out of our house when my wife and I were at work all day and kids were in school. We never had an issue with anything revolving around that because every single person from flooring to window guys to plumber were very professional and we trusted them totally. Brandon always listened to what little details we wanted changed or what kind of look we were going for on certain parts and always was willing to work with us to get exactly what we wanted. And trust me, we made a lot of changes we weren’t exactly the easiest people to work with!! But they did it all and never complained once and the finished product is stunning and beautiful. I could go on and on but this company is one of the best we’ve used and I recommend them highly to anyone looking to upgrade/remodel/redecorate/whatever. They are worth it. We will be using them again in the future I’m sure.
