Due to last night's storms, I thought my recent experience may help many of you who are going to be dealing with roofing companies, contractors, & homeowners insurance.After thoroughly researching & interviewing multiple roofing companies and contractors, I decided to go with DMD Renovation. They serve the Central Ohio area and go to the bat for you with your insurance company, making sure you get what you deserve. Mike Blessing in the office and Project Supervisor Troy Manley were professional & knowledgeable about all current statutes that protect Ohio consumers. They patiently answered all my questions as this was the first time I made a homeowners claim.I had only sustained minor damage and many companies were eager to do a partial job repairing it. However, DMD Renovation secured an entire new roof, decking and all, to bring my roof up to code.Their work crew was hard working, conscientious, and courteous. They also did an incredible clean up job. I can honestly say you can trust this company to do the best work for you.

I can't tell you how amazing DMD Renovation is. I never had to do anything. They walked me through the claims process, filed the claim for me, met with the insurance adjuster, and completed the entire process in less than one week - including completing the entire roof replacement (in 1 day). I have already recommended them to my friends and neighbors who are also using them. Their work is amazing, clean up is incredible, and passion to treating the customer right is so refreshing. We called Troy with DMD Renovation after having storm damage to our roof. Troy came out an assessed the damage, we then filed a claim with our insurance company. Once the claim was approved Troy came out with shingle samples for us to choose. He was very insightful in picking the shingle color that would look best on our house.The crew was extremely efficient and had the old roof removed within a few hours and the new roof on the same day. They did an amazing job cleaning up and they ran magnets around the house several times to assure all nails had been picked up.These guys are amazing. I was quite pleased with the service from DMD and Cyle Sigler. They replaced our entire roof and also a section of flat roofing. They replaced siding and window surrounds. Also they installed a new and better gutter system. This was on a three story farm house. The work was done on time as promised and completed quickly. The daily clean-up was much appreciated. DMD did a great job helping us replace our roof after it suffered storm damage. DMD project manager Cyle S is a consummate professional and worked with us throughout, supporting us through the claim process, ensuring that all details were accounted for as far as design, code requirements, and so forth, and oversaw the build effort. Every step of the way he made every effort to ensure that the experience and work was to our satisfaction. The build was complex but took just one day and everything was professionally executed by an experienced crew. DMD does much more than roofs so they are able to handle other issues that come up along the way. I have a short list of contractors that I trust enough to return to for additional work, and DMD is on that list.

First and foremost, These guys are awesome! Ricky and Troy both did an amazing job throughout the entire process of the roof. From coming out quickly after I noticed some missing shingles after a wind storm to pointing out deeper issues that they believed were reason enough to file an insurance claim. They walked me through the process of calling insurance, filing the claim, and even made sure to meet with the claims adjuster to make sure he saw all the issues that needed to be addressed.After the inspection it was noted that the entire roof needed to be replaced and insurance would fully cover the cost minus deductable. So we scheduled the roof to be replaced, just 5 days after receiving the approval, the crew showed up early and replaced the entire roof, start to finish in less than 12 hours... and it's a complex roof that included having to replace some of the plywood from water damage and laying rubber membrane on the roof above our porch.The crew was extremely efficient and had the roof completely stripped in less than 2 hours, with Ricky and Troy getting back from a materials run for the plywood and additional vents needed for the attic (and an additional vent I requested to be added for a bathroom fan). The crew got to work immediately replacing the water damaged boards. I then went to bed (I work nights) and when I woke up the roof had been complely replaced and the crew was in the process of cleaning up. They did an amazing job cleaning up, they ran magnets across the driveway and around the house several times as well as checking through the bushes and flowers in the garden for anything they missed and used a leaf blower to blow all the sawdust off of the porch. Once they left the only thing left was a single nail that had rolled under the garage door.Ricky and I went up onto the roof as they were cleaning up to show me their work and all I can say is DANG.... These guys took such pride in their work, even taking the time to layer the Flashing around the Chimney to not only seal perfectly, but they actually made it Aesthetically pleasing to look at, despite not being able to see it from the ground. That feels like taking pride in your work.I can't say enough about the quality of DMD's work. I called David after the hail & wind storm hit our area. He answered my first call. David & Troy came out the very next day. They were on time, friendly & very knowledgeable. They stayed with me while I called my insurance company to open a claim. They gave all the information needed to the insurance company. Within 2 weeks I had my check from the insurance company. David & Troy came back out we signed the contract they spent 3 hours going over all the details to make sure I knew exactly what was going to happen & that I was getting exactly what I wanted. They installed my entire new roof in one day. Their team was awesome! They worked quickly & efficiently. Troy came out twice & stayed until they were finished. The owner Derek came out to introduce himself. He's a hands on owner he went right up the ladder & jumped right into helping his guys. I highly recommend this company! Stop reading other reviews and call DMD. This is the company you want. We were in the unfortunate situation of needing both a new roof and new siding, due to defective workmanship and cut corners from contractors several years and owners ago, leading to all sorts of leaks and water damage. The owner Derek spent a ton of time with us, not just telling us that we needed the work done, but showing us why, patiently answering all our questions, and explaining everything, including the costs, in detail.The crews were super efficient and their cleanup was excellent. And we finally have peace of mind, knowing there are no cut corners, everything up to code, and all the problem areas of the house are fixed. Seriously, just call them already - this is a small, local company you can trust. Derek does things the right way.

We had DMD Renovation LLC do a complete replacement of the vinyl siding on our home. Derek helped us with the process as we upgraded to a better quality product and added additional insulation as part of the install. The crew arrived when scheduled, and did a fantastic job of removal/installation and cleaned up the area very well. We feel that DMD Renovation is an honest and trustworthy contractor that deserves to be included in your next project. Upon my call, Derek came out immediately after a severe wind storm to protect the damaged roof with water proofing. I was extremely impressed by Troy Manley and DMD Renovations. Could not have asked for a more thorough project manager. He was knowledgeable and professional. Willing to work with insurance to get everything approved. Was even able to get the plywood replaced due to the old plywood being out of code.Professionalism did not end with Troy. The crew that came out to do the work was efficient, courteous and tidy. I've had bad experiences in the past with other companies. We have 2 dogs and I was especially concerned about finding loose nails in the yard (typical for a roof replacement). We never found any nails - not one!I highly recommend DMD.

Justin showed up at my door the day after a wind storm, noticing my roof had been damaged. His crew came and covered the roof to protect from further damage. He has been in constant contact with me during the entire process. He came to my house when the insurance inspector arrived to discuss the damage. We picked shingles and a few days later my new roof was installed. His crew was efficient and professional. Covered my yard and did a thorough clean up. The next day my new gutters were installed, right before another big storm. Thank goodness for the wind storm that brought Justin our way because the plywood was all damaged and could have been a disaster. Justin was at my home every step of the way. He showed up every day a crew was here and showed up in the pouring rain to make sure the new gutters were working correctly. He is still working with my insurance on my claim. He has been a blessing in what could have been a difficult process. Best of all, he is my neighbor. I recently had siding replaced on part of my house through DMD Renovation. Within one day of calling them, Troy Manley, their project manager, came out to my house and had a quote ready for me by the next day. Troy had great communication and was very knowledgeable with the costs and repairs that were needed for the renovation. The best part of it is that the costs were reasonable and I didn’t feel like I was getting overcharged on anything like some other contracting companies that I have dealt with in the past. They did quality work on putting in the new siding and most importantly it was done in a timely fashion. Definitely will be using them in the future for future home renovations. Troy inspected, helped work through insurance details and stayed in touch throughout the process. During the replacement an area was found where a piece of decking needed replaced due to water damage. The crew had the materials on hand to take care of the issue! All went very well, including cleanup.
