Doug came, and gave a bid. His crew was there first thing in the morning tore off old roof including a rubber roof, replaced with new shingles roof and rubber roof. Cleaned up and it was like they were never there. Well satisfied a would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Doug and crew

This was an excellent experience, they did an fantastic job, the existing roof take off, new roof installed and excellent clean up. I have a 2-story over a 100 year Victorian house and has a very steep angled roof. They took their time, to make sure that everything was done right and still got done in 2 days. I contracted American Veteran's Roofing to tear off and replace three roofs, once of which was a rubber membrane flat roof. Their price was more than reasonable and included a great warranty. Their crew did the job when they claimed they would, did some necessary repairs for much less than expected and left everything looking sharp. The only surprise was they actually delivered on their promises.

American Veterans Roofing replaced my roof about 2.5 years ago. They were fast, economical, and conscientious towards a job well done. Fast forward to now, with the multitude of recent deluges of rain, we noticed staining on some ceiling drywall. I was concerned it was coming from the newer roof leaking. I called Doug and he responded quickly on a Sunday. He had his crew out there quickly to check for the water source. It was determined the water was coming in via a decorative vent on the front of the house. I had storm damage to my roof in early spring of this year. this would be the first time in 30 years that I would have to file a claim with my insurance company and they where very hard to deal with. I contacted a couple other roofing contractors with no luck getting any help about what I needed to do or what to say to the insurance company. Doug with American Veterans Roofing came out and looked at the damage to my roof . Over a 3 month period Doug was a big help advising me on how to negotiate this long and stressful battle with the insurance company. When it came time to replace my roof Doug and his crew did a great job they knocked the job out in one day. He went over and beyond with my roof, great job cleaning up and all his crew was very respectful to my property and my wife explaining to her what was going on with a lot of unknown wood damage being that I was unable to be there due to having to work. AVR did a fantastic job on our total roof replacement! Doug was extremely informative and professional. We were going out of town and they scheduled installing our new roof 4 days after I called so that we wouldn’t have to worry about our home and water damage while we were out of town. They focused on what we needed, not what they wanted to sell us just to make a sale and profit- it was all about customer service and quality. They only use a quality product and warranty and stand behind their commitment to give you a professional product. In addition to our roof, we also needed one piece of siding replaced that was ripped from a storm and causing some water damage inside- Doug worked to find a piece of siding for our 17 year old home so it matched. A recent ice storm was the last straw for my aging roof. I contacted several roofing companies in the area through Home Advisor, and American Veterans Roofing was the first to respond.Doug Cox contacted me immediately, and quickly provided a quote for the job. He called to explain the quote in detail, answering all my questions. I was impressed with his professional demeanor. What struck me the most, was that he wasn't pushing a low quality product. I liked the system that he proposed, and the price was very reasonable.Of course, we had to wait on the weather for a few days, but Doug provided some temporary cover on my leaking roof in the meantime. What a welcome relief!His crew arrived in a few days, and removed and replaced the old roof. Their efficiency was astounding. They protected the grounds and cleaned up completely. In fact, my wife commented that the yard looked better than when the started.I was again impressed when Doug showed up on the site to explain, in detail, what his crew was doing. Quite the professional.Needless to say, the roof looks great.I have plans to do some extensive remodeling in the spring, and I will definitely contact American Veterans Roofing again.

Doug saved the day! We would have been lost without American Veterans Roofing. They had just replaced our roof in November of 2017 and we were hit with a hail storm in April 2018. Doug guided us every step of the way. Our insurance company was not willing to give us what we needed to replace the roof but Doug stepped in and worked with his contacts to get us a new roof. In the end, we were able to get over two and a half times what our insurance company originally estimated. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Doug and his company! His crew worked diligently to put our roof on in one day and we could not be happier with the results! They replaced our roof a couple of years ago. Doug looked at the roof and said it had storm damage and that insurance should cover it. The insurance adjuster was not going to cover it and Doug took him on the roof and expertly explained what he saw. When he was done, the adjuster agreed to cover it. The work was done promptly and the workers were friendly and always cleaned up after themselves. Doug thoroughly inspected the grounds when they were done several times. My wife does childcare and he was concerned about the kids stepping on a nail. We had the gutters replaced also and the quality and workmanship was excellent.

EXCELLENT SERVICE- I had an emergency and called Doug to fix two torn shingles. I had water coming into one of my room ceilings. Within the same day, Doug's company was onsite and fixed the repair. They are really good! We had storm/wind damage to our roof. He came out quickly after we called for an estimate. He met with our insurance rep and went over everything with him and us. Very courteous and friendly. They started at 6:30 a.m. and were finished by 4:00 p.m. including tearing off the old roof. They did a super fantastic job.. They cleaned up all the debris and all of the nails. We highly recommend American Veterans Roofing. The only roofer you'll every need!

Found American Veterans Roofing after a severe wind storm damaged our roof. I am from out of town and renting the property so finding a roofer I could trust was of the utmost importance. I contacted them and they were at my property the same day to inspect the damage. Doug explained the entire process with me and kept me completely informed every step of the way. He was present when the insurance company came and because of his help was able to get the entire roof replaced. Once insurance approved it they were at the property within the week and the job was completed in one day. I can't say enough good things about American Veterans Roofing and would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

When I discovered water from a leak in our roof coming into a bedroom ceiling, I researched companies on Google which is my search engine of choice. I saw several companies but American Veterans stood out above the rest. They are locally owned, offer a better warranty and are owned by an actual American Veteran. I called and spoke to Doug Cox, the owner and I immediately felt like I made the right choice. He came out asap and went over the roof. He tarped the area of concern and a wide perimeter as well in that area. He dealt directly with the insurance handlers and was always available at a moment's notice if need be before the insurance approval for roof replacement came in. He told me about his experience in the field, showed me the materials he'd use and how his crews are top notch quality installers.They came out, tore off the old shingles, and with organized and skillful teamwork they installed a beautiful new roof in one day. They placed tarps over any area necessary on the ground and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. A person would never know they'd been there from looking around the yard.I highly recommend American Veterans Roofing. You can see my roof at 2483 Fatima Place in Hamilton. I plan to also use them in the next few months to install new gutters as well. Do yourself a favor and call Doug Cox first. He'll tell you honestly about the condition of your roof and go from there to make you a satisfied customer as well.
