Going a month since i had one of their roofers come out to get me a quote to re-roof my home to use my refinance on, I have not received any quotes back from their office and have called several times and left messages and called the roofer directly. They have not returned my calls or provided me any emails for a quote. This has been a huge waste of time i could be having work done on the home, and also to the person who came out to inspect it. Our organization was in urgent need of a complete roof replacement. Our building is an historical landmark and the original tar and gravel roof was a complete mess. I contacted 5 different roofing companies for quotes and Chris Weller spent hours with me walking through the job requirements and even more importantly what was NOT needed. He also bent over backwards helping us navigate the intricacies of getting engineering evaluations and city building department authorizations. Weller went above and beyond in getting our project pushed through. When it came time to actually begin demolition and replacement, Wellers's crew was efficient, professional and overall outstanding. They actually did a couple other things that weren't part of the original bid but were "just the right thing to do" to ensure the job was quality above all else at no additional cost. And they left our property cleaner than when they arrived! In my career as a Plant Engineer, I've been involved with several industrial sized roof replacement projects and I can safely say Weller Roofing was the best company I've ever dealt with. I've used Weller Roofing for the past 4 years. Chris, his father John and their entire staff have been transparent, honest and hard working throughout the process from quotation to installation. They don't "create" add-on work, or unnecessary work to inflate the bill and add to their profit. What I've paid them has given me peace of mind and has been well worth the price.I've now used them for 2 residential roofs, 1 garage roof, and one 5,000 square foot flat roof commercial roof replacement.The following is an examples are how they've looked out for me;On the commercial project, the existing roof and substructure of (insulation and/or Isoboard) needed to be removed an additional 8" inches from what they originally quoted me. This added nearly a day to their work plus more material. After discovering this, Chris and his father honored the original quote. Not only did they eat the extra labor and material costs, they could have easily covered over the problem area and no one would have known for some time.I also asked them to inspect a main roof after they completed a garage roof installation. The main roof was over 30 feet high, with a decent amount of pitch so I could not get up to see it for myself. The roof is at least 20 years old and they could have easily said it needs to be replaced. Upon inspection, Chris told me that only flashing needed to be updated around the chimney.These are just two examples of their transparency and commitment to getting the job done right. Weller roofing clearly takes the approach that if the job is done right, people will share their experiences and referrals will come. Great business model gentlemen! When a workman (not a roofer) recently walked on my roof, he said the wood felt rotted. I called Weller, who had installed the roof in 2005. Chris Weller came out and did a complete inspection. He said the roof was fine and told me what to expect in the future. The "rotted" feel was due to thinner plywood being used when the house was built and which would have more "give" when walked upon. I appreciated Mr. Weller's HONESTY. He could have just as easily told me I needed a new roof.Service: Roof inspection

We just wanted to pass along great things about Ian, and Weller Roofing in general. He could not have been nicer, spent a few hours completing the job, and promised to come back to finish the front gutter/downspout, once the bird eggs in the nest in that part of the gutter had hatched (he moved a second gutter nest with hungry little ones to a nearby tree). As far as he could tell, his work was top notch. We had one other contractor tell us that removing the old gutters was next to impossible without significant roof work, but Ian seemed to have no trouble.Great son and employee you have there.Needless to say, Weller will be our call next year to do gutter cleaning, or in the future if we need to have something installed as a guard on the gutters.Bob H.Service: Roof repair

Called and informed them I needed my roof inspected. Took 2 days to get a return call. They finally came out and told me the problem and advised it would be repaired in a week to 10 days. I called 13 days later and have yet to receive a call back or a repair
