Toted as the islands smallest bar the KI Cantina is my favorite bar and restaurant on Kelly's Island! They make the best margaritas from the KI Cantina Classic to the Colada-Rita. The food smells as delicious as it tastes! KI Cantina is located on the same grounds as the KI Wine company. Both are a must stop when visiting the island!

This place seems to be one of the places to be at Kelly's Island. It was PACKED shortly after opening (and is next door to a winery which is a bonus if you want to kill two birds with one stone). They have separate lines for drinks vs food which is nice because sometimes one line is much longer than the other. I got the Mexican Bulldog and the chorizo Taco. The margaritas are definitely the highlight there (the tacos and guacamole are ok but nothing particularly special or earth shattering). The overall atmosphere is a good reason to go. The staff and patrons were friendly and welcoming. There was cornhole and live music on the Saturday I went.

Barely a restaurant, Ki Cantina is supposed to offer Mexican food. But instead they offer soupy tacos for six bucks and quarter cups of microwave rice for two fifty. It's a hostage food situation where quality doesn't have to be good to get business because you're stuck with what's available on the island (and most patrons are drunk or drinking.) This is a common problem across other establishments on the island as well but it's very prominent here with the combination of a winery and Mexican inspired restaurant. Seating here was awful, dirty and packed with people. Parking was full. I'm definitely never returning and would highly recommend going elsewhere. I saved my appetite for real food back on the mainland. The picture is of my wife's order. We didn't take a picture of the pathetic minute rice they served our son. Ki cantina should be called Ki Cafeteria because it's a travesty to call it a Mexican restaurant. I've honestly had better food from Aramark.

This is a fun place but my drink was a little off for a margarita. Beautiful horseshoe pit. The kids area looks smaller than before so I am wondering if they expanding it at the back of the winery. The reason I like this place bc it's kid friendly and I really appreciate this when dad wants to relax a bit. Lots of tables and seating.

Its a really small place and most of the seating is outside on the patio or in the big pavillion, except for the little bar area inside. You can eat anywhere on the grounds of the winery in general though. You order your food from a counter inside by basically filling our an order ticket. Nice little Mexican option for the island!

It's nice that they have outdoor seating, didnt try the food. The margaritas are very sweet but not bad. Lots of people smoking cigarettes so it's a little musty. They have some games on the patio to enjoy.

Mexican?? We’ll pass next time we’re at Kelley’s Island. Margaritas were average..not bad but average. As far as the food, if they want to be successful they need to put a little effort into it. For starters, instead of serving chips from a bag and salsa from a jar, Make your own!! You can’t just slap a sign on the door and state your a Mexican restaurant. You need to learn how to actually cook Mexican food to a Mexican restaurant.

Great selection of margaritas. And very kid friendly. Located next to Kelleys Island Winery. So sitting outside you have the best of both worlds. Staff was excellent and had very good suggestions. Was thankful they had a place for kids to play and run around.

AMAZING nachos, great margaritas, love the laid back atmosphere, and oh did I mention the nachos?! Honestly I would drive 2 hours to lakeside, catch a ferry, and drive into the island for those nachos. Thanks for the family friendly lunch today (our dog really enjoyed his water dish too, thank you)!!

It is located on the same property as the Kelleys Island Winery. There was ample seating and a decent drink menu. The food was okay, I had the burrito with Chorizo it was cold but could have been because of all the ingredients I got in it. The location is really nice and very family friend.

Great customer service but the food was terrible. Burnt chicken, cheap chips, decent queso. Drink menu at the other window was very limited as well. No...like general margaritas. We don't need to be fancy. We just need options. Also, would have been nice to have someone wipe off picnic tables between customer's uses. The one drink we did get was strawberry lemonade vodka with real strawberry mix. It was good. Not very "cantina" like.

Love this place! Great food and one of the best atmospheres on the island! It's a double whammy with the winery right next door, a real bang for the buck!

Actually, my husband and I went to the winery, which is right next door while our friends went to the cantina. They loved it. There is outdoor seating, some under roof or umbrellas. The Cantina is small, but it serves a variety of beer.
