1/26/24a month later and everything is still in tip-top shape. we ended up wanting to re-route our sump pump drain exit, and they are unbelievably flexible. we opted to do it ourselves as we changed our mind after the original visit, and the team was open and willing with information and process such as sending updated photos to the team with new drain location for their records should i need services in the future. Love everybody and everything12/21/23.JJ and the crew of Noah, Ant, Kasey, Phillip and Jeremiah were amazing! Wonderful amount of work in 2 days time. Looks amazing and already feels better. Personable crew that had wonderful manners and positivity. We are trade/blue collar career people ourselves but not once did they ever try to cheap us out nor try to charge more for any "surprises" because there was none. They had a plan and everything and got right to work. Happy to have had the work done by Staydry!! Our foundation was in desperate need of intervention and we feel so much safer.As of January 19th, my husband and I have paid our deposit and starting our project on preserving our 122year old home. Starting from the foundation up. Jordan with StayDry has given us the most honest and up front information regarding our home. Had waterproofing and carbon fiber straps added to my 80+ year old home I just bought that needed some help. Overall I think they did a decent job. For the cost though, I guess I had higher expectations.First of all, they installed the straps in the wrong place. They ended up fixing this, but I should not have to direct the work that their company told me I needed done (they are supposed to be the experts not me). I’m not sure all of the straps were installed correctly. One of them, they put the hardware on crooked and it cracked the wood, so I’m assuming that that one is worthless (see pics). On multiple of them, they are significantly looser than I would expect for them to be able to support anything and prevent further movement inwards.Secondly, they did not completely redo the drainage as promised. After day 1 I noticed not only that the fiber straps were in the wrong place, but that they also hadn’t removed all of the previous system installed and looked like they were going to reuse a small portion of it. Upon completion, it is very clear they reused that portion of the old drainage. Granted, it is a part right where the stairs are, however, I was quoted for the entire perimeter, not all but 3 feet because it was too difficult. This has me worried about the quality and longevity of the work done.Third, I was promised all cracks would be filled and there are still a few noticeable cracks that were not filled.Finally, I’m not a big stickler on this because my basement is not beautiful to begin with, but the cleanup was mediocre at best and the smoothing of the concrete laid was amateur at best. I’m leaving this comment here for those that do care about this and it is not reflected in the overall rating I gave here.This is my initial assessment of the work done. The crew was very friendly and professional overall, but I am a little concerned about the quality of the work done at this moment based on these issues. Let’s just say, I hope that they stick by their warranties because I’m concerned I just threw a ton of money away for nothing. I’d suggest going somewhere else.

I recently hired Stay Dry Waterproofing to repair the foundation of my home and I am extremely satisfied with their service.I was impressed with the inspector because he took the time to explain the issues with my foundation and the steps they would take to fix it. They also provided a detailed quote, which gave me confidence that there would be no hidden costs.The crew arrived on time and they were respectful of my home and made sure to clean up after themselves each day. They updated me on their progress and answered any questions I had.I no longer have to worry about the structure of my home and that’s a good feeling!

We could not be happier with the job Stay Dry has done. The first phase has been completed- the drain pipe carrying water from our sump pump was nearly completely clogged after 20+ years. TJ was able to verify that was the problem , we were scheduled and an awesome team installed pvc pipe and what a difference. They did an amazing job but additionally they communicated with us through the entire project!! When something unexpected happened at the stop before us that delayed them they let us know. On top of all this we feel their pricing is very reasonable Stay Dry definitely has their act together!!!

This company has great customer service and very educated about mold and removal. When the job was completed they covered the holes in the ceiling with plastic to prevent the insulation from dropping out until I can get someone in to replace the areas in the ceiling. I did have a small issue but it was resolved. There was an area in a room that I painted over and the crew could not tell that area of the ceiling needed to be removed. Larry and Troy (project manager) came back on Saturday to fix the problem and were very professional and apologetic. We had some good conversation as well! I have to shout out Tanner as well. Tanner was very professional and thorough when he assessed my mold issue. I gave them 5 stars not just because of the work that they did but also the promptness in fixing the problem and owning up to the mistake. It wasn’t all their fault as I had to work and my grown daughter was there when the work was completed.Service: Mold inspection

I had the pleasure working with Stay Dry. I had a egress window with water leaking in. It started with a thorough consultation with Wayne. He explained to me in detail what needed to take place to fix the problem. Wayne knew exactly what he was talking about with over 20 year’s experience. Pam was great talking to me getting work scheduled way sooner than I intended. Parker and his crew were fantastic. Lately it feels like customer service has gone down hill. Parker is NOT like this. He was texting me through out the ordeal and even putting the trim back on for me and cleaning up their mess. I was impressed by the way the crew were so quick and the house looks just as if it was never taken apart. Customer service goes along ways and I cant thank you guys enough for giving me and my home respect. I definitely recommend them. So glad I picked Stay Dry! Thank you everyone Wayne, Pam, Parker and the other guy who’s name I forgot.

I hired Stay Dry to waterproof my basement. Soon after I moved into my home (2021), I noticed water leaking into the basement along the front wall and wanted to get it taken care of right away. Their Cincinnati Division came out and completed the necessary work to completely waterproof my basement, so they said.Fast forward several months, I noticed water coming into my basement again, this time from the right wall (causing damage to drywall and carpet, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place). I gave Stay Dry a call and they scheduled a site visit to come out and take a look at the issue. After looking things over, I was told that they failed to complete the work they were supposed to do on the right side of the house. They explained to me that their Cincinnati Division did the initial work, and due to consistent poor performance and shoddy work they had that Division completely shut down.At this point, I am questioning the work that's already been done and nervous that I am going to continue having water intrusion issues in my finished basement. However, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I allowed them to fix the issue on the right side since I technically already paid for that work to be done in the first place. I assumed they would step up and do the right thing by replacing the damaged drywall and carpet (which was a small area), but I was wrong.When I asked their team lead, Troy, why they wouldn't, he said that I have no proof that this damage occurred as a result of the recent water intrusion. However, I explained that the carpet and drywall were brand new as of my move-in date, my inspection report has no mention of the damage and on top of that, they did not find or identify any damage in their initial site visit. This damage was clearly caused by poor workmanship and their failure to complete the work that I paid $15K+ to feel secure and assured that I wouldn't have any further basement water issues. The least they could do at this point is replace a small patch of drywall and carpet. He ended up agreeing to replace the drywall, but not the carpet.I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to about the issue. I had already spent so much money already, I shouldn't have to spend more to fix something they had missed. Troy said he would have their legal team reach out. It's been several weeks and I still haven't heard from their legal team. And the drywall still hasn't been replaced.Unfortunately, it's been a very frustrating, unpleasant experience with Stay Dry. I will not be using them on any future projects and I recommend others go elsewhere for their waterproofing needs.

Troy from Stay Dry Waterproofing evaluated my basement. The services they initially provided were mold remediation, carbon fiber strap installation to reinforce the walls, and interior waterproofing. The work came with a lifetime transferrable warranty!When we realized that there was some water still coming in during heavy rain, I contacted Eva to get it re-checked and fixed. She was great. After it was determined that there was a problem, we scheduled it to be fixed. The date I was originally given was almost a month out. I was pleasantly surprised when Eva called me last week to see if I wanted to move the repair up to yesterday. Of course I did.Yesterday, Chris and Nick arrived promptly when scheduled and finished on time. They even cleaned up everything between the exterior door and the basement.We had looked into several basement waterproofing companies, but I am very glad we chose Stay Dry. I could not recommend Stay Dry Waterproofing more.

I had Stay Dry come out to my home in Lancaster, OH and install a full perimeter waterproofing system and Clean Air system on 9/14-16. The crew did an excellent job and I had no problems with any of their work. The foreman made sure to keep me informed and he answered any questions I had.My two complaints are with my salesman and just the process in general. Our basement is currently in the middle of being finished for living space. The salesman, Jordan Moore, assessed the situation and told us that the only thing we would need removed was one bathtub and the platform it sat on. We paid our contractor to come and demo that bathtub. Once the crew showed up, they had to also cut out a lot of the finished drywall and two more tub/shower platforms. This will cause added expense that we did not plan for. Jordan should have been able to correctly assess all that we would need to have removed to make room for the system install.My other complaint is just with the lack of communication before the job started. The job was set to start on a Monday morning and I had received a couple of emails from Stay Dry right before the weekend confirming that the crew would be showing up between 8:30 and 9:15 on Monday morning. I delayed my workday to meet the crew and get the job started. At around 9:30 they had not arrived so I called the Lancaster office and Stephanie informed me that the job was actually starting on Wednesday instead of Monday. I received no call or email to update the job start date.

Stay Dry Waterproofing came in and did an estimation on ceiling mold. The original area that was estimated was a living room, and office. This was going to include air scrubbing, scrubbing of beams, removal of insulation, drywall removal, etc. As well as, an entire days work for the men. Once the company came to remove the mold. There was much less mold than originally estimated. Only the small office ceiling was removed and two sections of insulation. There was no air scrubbing and only 1.5 hours of work in total, most of which was moving furniture out of the space. The company stated they would put us in touch with someone who could then replace the ceiling, this did not occur. The company also took ALL of the money from the original estimation, which was 7.5 more hours of work estimated. The company was called and never returned the phone call, as well as, contacted via email and did not respond. I am very disheartened by the lack of communication and the advantage that was taken of us. I would not recommend this company. Not to mention the company sent one man out to do the inspection, he never called or contacted. I texted this employee and he stated had left the company. The company never reached out to us, I can only assume they did the same to anyone else this man was working with. This was a red flag that I should not have ignored and we would not be out thousands of dollars. Again, I am extremally disappointed in the advantage that was taken. The men physically doing the job were great, as well as, when I called to tell the company we were waiting on communication the receptionist was great, one of the only redeeming qualities of the company! Greg was my inspector and seemed nice. He made it seem like he was cutting me a great deal and under priced all the other water proofing companies I had meet with previously. The system they offered did not cover the walls of my foundation and don’t guarantee water won’t enter them so be cautious! After the estimate was sent I told him I wanted to wait to get approved before signing and paying a deposit. He became pushy and said if you don’t get approved you can get a refund, he didn’t want to come back out here to get the deposit(red flag number 1). So me feeling panicked and I would miss this opportunity paid the deposit.I completed the application over the phone ( red flag number 2) I was not approved for the initial amount and so he adjusted the price again and the terms changed. I never got any information on the improvement loan I applied for and still never got an email about my approval. ( red flag number 3) I since call the office and requested another financing option and said I wanted to hold off on the job ( I spoke with Renee) she said she’d call me back with another financing option but instead she called Greg and he called me and tried to talked me out of canceling the job. I sent in the cancellation form (didn’t know I needed to do that until Greg called because I hurried through signing the agreement and paused my deposit) I was a day late for the 3 days to cancel but they tried to make me keep the job and threatened to sue me for 35% of the job! On top of the non refundable deposit I lost out on. Canceling a day after the three day grace time to cancel mind you! This company is unprofessional and manipulative. They try to make it like they’re helping you but you have to remember these inspectors are salesman. They make money off of you and will tell you anything to make that money. Read everything and think about it before signing with them. I would not recommend this company!

I had the pleasure of working with the Stay Dry team to install a large french drain system around my 181 year old home. We had a difficult situation based on our home being in a 'bowl' and city restrictions on water removal. The team found a solution that worked on paper AND worked in reality, I called and schedule the work for the next week. The workers were awesome! Our Foreman, Shane, was great, explained every step to us, answered our questions and did an amazing job ensuring his crew completed the work on time and with the quality we expect. The crew cleaned up after themselves and it honestly looked better after they left then when they arrived. Stay Dry waited a few weeks and sent out Lee to ensure our system was working as expected and to address any concerns. We are so happy with the service that we are getting ready to hire them for some additional water relocation not related to the original project.
