Used Mentor Window to reside our house. It was a big job and couldn’t be happier on how it turned out. The whole neighborhood has commented on the look. Really happy with the windows!A little bit of an uneasy start: the salesman promised a ten week total project time, but it ended up taking six months. Some of the delays were unforeseeable, but I got the quote on Dec 2, and for some reason, he did not know or did not tell me that the company had to wait until January to submit new year paperwork, then wait for the city to respond. I am fine with waiting, but I was frustrated that I checked in with him (as he was supposed to be my contact for questions) in mid December and then in mid January and got vague answers like "should be soon" and "any day now." When I finally called the main office, they were very helpful and explained the delay. I wish I had talked to someone more informed much earlier in the process.Another small issue was that the guys who measured the windows measured one incorrectly. There was no way the installers could have known this until they took out most of the existing window, meaning I had to live with a half-cardboard window for six weeks. They actually did do a very nice job on the cardboard so that it didn't leak! Although it was a bit of an eyesore, kudos to the installers for being able to make do.While these smaller issues did not make it a 5/5 star experience, the installers and the windows themselves are fantastic! The installation crew was punctual, fast, friendly, and professional. They installed eight windows in under four hours, and they look amazing. The sealing and caulking is flawless. They also did an immaculate job of cleaning up. The windows are great, and the house is noticeably less drafty. Very fine work!

My husband and I had a 12 by 16 foot shed constructed on our property. It is beautiful and just what we wanted. We wanted the same design as the one on the lot. When the builders started on the siding, I noticed the brick was not being done.We found out It was left off of our quote . We had another man do the brick work and that raised the cost even more. So last month I called because I can't get the key in the lock without playing around with it for several minutes. Mentor window came out and told us that is how it is. He brought his master key and had to do the same thing that I had to do. Now it is a month later and I can't get the key in at all. I was told I could get another lock for 40 dollars but it will be the same. This is not acceptable for the cost. Now we have to raise the garage door to get in .A note to you if you buy this shed:you might want to negotiate a different lock or different type of knob to open. Everything is good quality except for this lock. We have a garage door opener on the door and we hate to have to use that way to open the shed just to get bird food or tools out of it.

We had windows done by Mentor Window last fall and we just did business with them again purchasing a shed for our business. GREAT, honest people to deal with and they really care about quality and keeping costs down compared to other quotes we had.We dealt with Matt, Steve and Jen when we ordered the windows and they were on the ball from beginning to end. Our installation crew (Tim I think?) and his guys were a blast to deal with. Super friendly guys that made it actually a fun experience. They even made sure we were happy with the clean up before they left.Now for the shed, we just had it delivered and wanted something really appealing to the eye. My husband is very particular so he went with them because of their materials. I don't know much about construction but my husband said their materials were the best he's seen and they didn't use any particle board. He also made a big deal about the 2 inch plank floors. Anyhow, we have one of the nicest sheds on our industrial road for our business, people RAVE about it! Thanks for another job well done guys, we will refer everyone to you for any related work you do!

I was recently looking into new siding and gutters for my my home and my garage. Also a sliding glass patio door with the blinds built inside, after researching several companies I decided to go with Mentor Window. They had good reviews and they were also BBB approved! I had no regrets for making that decision! From working with the reps to the crews who actually did the work, they were friendly and knowledgeable with all my questions and concerns! The work was done in a timely manner and I’m very happy with the quality!

Mentor Window has the best storage sheds in the area. We bought ours after a couple of months researching local sellers. Steve was very helpful, as he explained different models, features, construction, and carefully walked us through the buying process. Mentor Window sheds have more standard features, including tongue in groove floors (NOT plywood), more available options, and the best materials of any we found. In addition, their installation team was great. Professional, fast and highly skilled, the worksite was thoroughly cleaned after they finished the job. I highly recommend Mentor Window for your home improvement needs.

I used Mentor Window in the past to build a shed. I was very pleased with the work and that was the reason why I decided to go back and do business with them on another project. In addition to the work that was completed, I like the owner because he is very personable and is a true professional. This was a larger scale project that involved tearing out an old deck and replacing it with a new one. It was a bit on the costly side since I decided to go with composite material as opposed to wood.I was a bit nervous because of the money that I was spending to complete the project. There were so many colors and options to choose from. However, Steve never rushed me to make a decision and told me to take all the time I needed to insure that I get what I wanted. He wanted me to feel comfortable with the decision since it was a sizable project in scope and dollar amount. Well at least based on my standard of large scope.In a nutshell, the deck is absolutely beautiful !!!! Even the neighbors told me that it was a great addition. The work was done in a timely manner and the crew did an outstanding job of keeping the place clean. Upon completion, I felt relieved when I saw the finished product. It makes you feel even better when you know you are supporting a local business. I told Steve that I am looking forward to the next project. Well first I need to save up some more cash. I am not able to print money. I have to earn it the old fashion way. If you are in need of a home improvement project, you should definitely include Mentor Window in the mix. They are competitive with their prices and they have a solid track record. Not to mention, it is always a plus to do business with a local establishment. It is easier to manage and you work directly with the owner.

Came out for a leaky window. They said the window was not the issue but the roof flashing was the problem. They gave me a quote on fixing it and I called to proceed. Never heard from them again. Shame, they seemed like such a nice company from all the reviews I read.

Today they built my 10x14 vinyl sided shed. In all my years of home ownership, I have never had such a thorough, professional, neat and knowledgeable group of people working on my home. The quality exceeds my expectations and except for the new shed sitting there,,,,,,you can't tell anyone was here! They left the yard pristine and they worked neatly all day. Had 4 other companies out, a couple of the places that advertise Buy on get one free and they were full of it and very high pressure not to mention way more than Mentor Window.Jim and Chris did an amazing job on a difficult install.
