I appreciated the honesty of Durable Slate explaining to me when the work would be done. I had an estimate in November, and Geoff explained that they were so busy that the work could not be done until the Spring. Immediately, however, Geoff was able to temporarily fix a missing slate, so that there would be no problem over the winter. Also, Geoff kept in regular contact with me to let me know that the whole repair job would be done. And it has been completed as promised! The roofer who completed the job was very professional. I had Durable Slate replace all my valley flashing, chimney flashing and ridge flashing with all new copper. They also replaced all my missing and broken slate. It looks great and should last another 80 years. The crew was fantastic and workmanship showed. I highly recommend them if you need any work on your slate roof. You will not be disappointed!

Repairing our slate roof has been a challenge for us because it’s extremely difficult to find contractors that work on slate roofs. Even if you do find someone, they may not have the years of experience needed to successfully solve your problem. We have been fighting a leak around our chimney for about 2 years with numerous attempted repairs by different contractors, but Durable Slate was the only one able to solve the problem. I would recommend them to anyone and both Geoff and Aaron were great to work with.

They are specialists in Spanish tile and that is what I needed. They are rare in this area. I had to wait a full year for them to do my job. They are very expensive but I believe the job was done right. I wanted to have a full check done on the roof and any broken tile checked, which I thought was going to be done but that was a misunderstand on my part.
