The Third Estimate just finished a re-shingle of our roof and a re-siding of our house after some storm/wind damage in 2023. They did an OUTSTANDING job. I especially want to thank Greg Starhe…he stood with us from day one through the completion of the project. He guided us through the insurance claim process and helped ensure that our insurance company covered the damage as required by law and our policy. We literally would not have been able to get this done without his patience, guidance, and persistence. Thank you Greg!! Recently I had Third Estimate replace some of my windows. I was referred to them by a friend who had used them in the past. She raved about them and I must say I agree with her.From the moment I contacted them, they have been very professional, friendly and even listened, and answered my queries. Mike Pavlov came with my new windows and I was very impressed how dedicated, focused and diligently he worked the whole day replacing all 4 of them. I called The Third Estimate out to have my roof repaired due to water leaking in my house. I went with them based on their responsiveness and reviews on Google as well as the BBB. Communication was great until the roof was installed.After the roof was installed I noticed water running down the side of my house which was not an issue before. I mentioned this to the individual who came out to make sure everything was "perfect" as they put it over the phone. They took pictures and said they would look into it. 5 days later I heard nothing so I called and left a voicemail. They called back stating they called the roofers and they would be out sometime but could not give me an ETA. The roofers arrived that evening unannounced and did some work. The net day it rained and the water was still coming down the side of my house. After calling again and leaving another voicemail they had the roofers come out on a Saturday afternoon unannounced and worked for a couple of hours. I no longer have the issue with the water leaking but I never once received a follow up from The Third Estimate to see if my problem was resolved.After this, they tried charging me and my insurance company a large sum of money for gutter work they never did which required me calling them and sending multiple emails to resolve.I give them 3 stars because I have a roof that no longer leaks. Communication was severely lacking once the roof was installed and problems were found.

Very good roofing company, very good gutter company that they have contracted throom. I'd give a 5 out of 5 star really professional within 2 days. They had the roof done the 3rd day. They had the gutters done and the 4th day. They already came and got the roll back dumpster. Very professional very affordable Highly recommended

I had a roof replacement done November 22nd, shingles are buckling all over the entire peak of the house. Their crew (subcontractor) did not even cover the sheathing that was installed where it meets near the gutters, so there are areas for the moisture to get in and has been left uncovered since they put the shingles up. The flat roof has a bubble in it where it was not laid properly.The subcontractor fell through part of the roof and caused damages to the trusses and ridge beam of my porch and then the company just covered it up. I am having a hard time getting information on if their subcontractor is even insured.Please check all of the BBB complaints before dealing with this company. I submitted a claim to the BBB on December 6th, there was no response to what i am asking for.Their insurance doesn't cover reimbursement for any damages they cause.Buyer beware.

Third Estimate was wonderful to work with! Because of past bad experiences with some other contractors we were leery.When Greg arrived we explained the issues that another contractor from another project had told us about. He then went up to the roof, took measurements and pictures then reviewed them with us in detail. Greg took our insurance information and submitted the pictures and their estimate to our insurance company. Our insurance company never questioned the bid because it was well documented and reasonable.We discussed roofing colors and he made a suggestion that we agreed upon and has resulted in a multitude of compliments. There were no hard sell tactics and Greg made us feel like we’d known him for years.A date was set and a roll off dumpster was delivered the day before. The crew showed up early the next morning and worked like beasts getting the entire tear off and replacement done in 1 day! The crew was very nice and patient when we had questions. The clean up was thorough, the roll off dumper was picked up the next day.We couldn’t be happier with the results and professionalism of the process. I’ll recommend them to anyone needing a roof.

Highly recommend! We had some small, visible storm damage on our roof from some recent severe weather. I reached out to my friend who had them do his roof a few months earlier after hearing a radio ad on 92.3 the Fan. He highly recommended they come out and take a look.Within 48 hours a representative, Greg Stahr, was sent out and was on our roof. He confirmed the damage and also found more extensive damage that would not have been noticed without getting up on the roof. Greg had a ton of roofing experience and was well versed and aware of all of the state laws and owners rights when it came to filing a claim with our insurance.Greg took it from there. I literally did nothing except meet him to give him the check from my insurance company. He met the claims adjuster, took care of all paperwork, scheduled the time and date of the installation, checked in on me and my wife numerous times to make sure we were informed and happy with the process and the completion of the roof.The roofing crew was fast, friendly, professional and did a fantastic job with cleaning up. I figured it would be 2-3 day job nope....8 guy crew came and they were in and out in less than 7 hours.It was hands down the easiest home improvement project I have ever been involved with.Highly recommend 3rd Estimate and Greg.

We had our roof and windows completed by The 3rd Estimate in December 2023. Jason and Cliff, who installed the windows, were great. They covered our carpet in front of each window and cleaned up after they installed the windows. The roof crew arrived early and the roof finished in two days. Best of all was I got huge discount by doing more work at one time. I would advise anyone to always take advantage of the off season with contractors. It's when you get the best deals!

After waiting for months to get my windows (6 months when told 12 weeks tops) and calling in and getting no answers, once Shawn got involved he answered all my questions and his crew installed with professionalism and he had to drive quite a distance to find trim to match our existing trim. After all the headache, we are happy with our windows and thank Shawn and also Steve. the owner, who gave is some money off because of the wait.

I had Tom from 4K Roofing & Restoration in Hinckley Oh come out. Got an estimate and started to work with my Insurance to fix storm wind damage on my roof. This company failed 😞 buy not following through and not responding to my phone calls. So I had 3rd Estimate come out and to work on my claim. Thomas Evans came out, got a quote and worked with my insurance to get the work approved. State Farm gave me issues and finally got it approved for the front half the house. Unfortunately I still fighting to get the back part done. But Thomas did a 👏 job and I also thank Teresa for scheduling very quickly. To the Spanish crew, I give them 5 stars ⭐️ for their hard work and awesome job. These guys worked from early morning to the evening getting it completed. Very respectful group of guys and would definitely want them again if the back gets approved. Highly recommend and a thumbs up 👍 for Thomas.
